It offers a beautiful glimpse into the opulent lives of the royals. The handiwork is exquisite, especially the crowns and the majestic throne where the king sat. While some displays may not be overwhelmingly impressive, the overall experience is still quite enjoyable.

The entry ticket grants access to the Three Crowns Museum, the castle's interior, and the Royal Treasury, offering a glimpse into Sweden’s royal history. While it’s not an essential visit for those who aren’t history enthusiasts, for others, it’s truly a hidden gem. The museum houses some beautiful artifacts, including detailed paintings, intricate chandeliers, and precious treasures, showcasing the grandeur of Swedish royalty. That said, the experience may feel somewhat passive, more of an observation than an immersive journey. Though visually captivating, the visit may not feel particularly transcendent unless you’re deeply interested in historical treasures.

5 Stars all of the way. The Royal Palace is a beautiful place. One of the coolest collections of Clocks and Chandeliers which we have seen anywhere. Nearly all of the clocks work too! Don't sell yourself short on time here. This really deserves half of your day to admire. Some of the rooms are behind glass, but the whole building is top notch from the minute you walk in. I may have taken 200 photos. Very highly recommend.

Skattkammaren or the Treasury Part is actually as a whole thing of The Royal Palaces of Stockholm Museum, after the Tre Kronor and The Royal Apartments. But the location is another side of the building in front of the the Karl Johann’s with the horse statue so make sure you’ll be there before the museum closed after 4pm.

Well worth the trip, if you have half and hour and are around the palace I highly suggest visiting the treasury.

Overpriced as hell. I dont recommend to spend your money here if you are not a fan of hand made crowns. For the same money Vasa Museum offers a much greater experience.

Skattkammaren in Stockholm's Royal Palace. A place of historical and cultural significance is Stockholm's Royal Palace. It contains a significant number of royal costumes, priceless artefacts connected to the Swedish royal family, and regalia. These items, which honor Sweden's royal and rich history, are of immeasurable historical and symbolic worth. The Swedish monarchy and the longevity of royal customs are represented by the Treasury. It serves as an imprint of the country's imperial past and the continuing legacy of its royal family.
