Collection includes a lot of interesting scientific objects, but is kind of randomly divided into different rooms. Entrance is not easy to find as signage is placed in front of the door with "no entrance". Toilets are in basement, you can reach them only through elevator. They are stinky. Ladies on the checkout were friendly, but I cannot say the same about other worker, older man. That was rather unpleasant interaction. Worth visit if you have Zwinger-ticket, but I would not go there separately or second time.

The structuring of the exhibition area is a bit perplexing, with little guidance. When were leaving - thinking we had finished - we found out there was another section left. Guards asked for our tickets again, and we had to store our backpacks in a locker again. Also, we expected that the toilets were accessible without this procedure, but no - and only by elevator. The guards are zealous, inpatient, but speak little to no English. The exhibited items are numerous and interesting, some items are really amazing and outstanding. English labels and descriptions felt like missing in 10 to 20 percent of the time.

Interesting place with historical science. The globes section was my favorite. No dogs spotted in any of the scientific exhibits.

Very nice and beautiful crafted scientific instruments. The exhibition is not that big but (and therefore not very expensive) still very interesting and definitely worth a visit. Explanations in both German and English.

This museum is fantastic and one should slowly explore floor by floor. I think the whole collection need more than 2 hours. Unfortunately, I have soo little time to finish them within 1 hour. I would say that this museum is one of the best for scientific lovers and students.

Amazing European collection of mathematical and physical Instruments. Considering my tastes and interests, I think it was the most interesting museum for me that I have ever visited. This is a huge collection of everything related to accurate calculations of the past: mathematical and physical devices and instruments, geographical and astronomical devises and instruments. All kinds of watches and compasses, computing devices and so on. It was an unforgettable experience in its own way and I highly recommend visiting it for those who are also interested in such things... and just advising it to visit to those who came to Zwinger (like its other museums, such as art and porcelain collections).

Cool ancient measurement tools, but it's not always clear how exactly do they work. There are tablets with videos of some tools in action, but not enough. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out what are they for and how do they work. There are some interactive replicas which you can play with, but again - not enough. So we ended up being little bit bored and disappointed.

This is truly an exquisite and mind blowing collection. It really takes you back in time of great inventions, alchemy and leaves you amazed with the ingenuity and creativity of the people in those ages. A definite must-see for all history and science geeks and really everyone with an interest in gadgets and just beautifully handcrafted objects.
