WORST FONDUE I HAVE EVER TASTED. The cheese wasn’t molten, and I basically had to cook it myself. For almost 30€ it was below average, and the name “fondue factory” is an offense and disgrace to the entire region. We were seated at a table that was way too big for seven people. I did not expect to be forced to social distance six years after the beginning of the pandemic. The server was rude, spoke to us in a frankly disrespectful manner, did not take us seriously, and took our orders wrong. The wine was brought out before the food was served before the meal, even after specifically asking for it to be served WITH the food. The “steak” tasted more like a shoe sole and the chicken as though it had never experienced a drop of water in its life. The poor animals DID NOT die for this. We will not be returning, even though admittedly we should not have been fooled by the tourist trap that the name “fondue factory” is in the first place, so we should have known what we had coming.

A great restaurant with excellent, friendly service and lovely food. In the heart of Val D'isere, close to bus stops and plenty of bars. Interesting display of vintage skis. Good portion sizes, not cheap but great for a treat meal put and all the drama of fondue, raclette and grill plates. Chocolate fondue desert was enough for 2.

The fondue is excellent as always. I tried one of the cocktails and it was super yummy. Service was great and the restaurant is beautiful!!

This popular restaurant serves up all of the typical dishes you might find in the Alps. Whether you enjoy fondue (beef or cheese), raclette or tartiflette, this restaurant offers them in abundance. Good for family get together or meeting among friends, we highly recommend this place. Better to reserve at least a day in advance since it gets very busy.

Really great food. Tried the swiss fondue and the caesar salad. The fondue was fantastic with a really large portion and lots of bread, salad, potatoes. The caesar salad was also excellent. The service was very good but a bit frenetic. All the waiting staff seemed to need to rush around, sometimes actually running, and it made for a less relaxing atmosphere. But we did really enjoy the meal.

Many choices of cheese for your fondues.. Meat fondues also featured. Portions are very generous. Efficient friendly service. Nice wine and cocktail list with wallet friendly prices. This is a family restaurant and it is set up as one so don't expect posh tableware and linen tablecloth. But you get great value for money.

Great fondue, lovely desserts, service efficient. We ordered a 250g steak but what arrived was very clearly less than this by some distance. We didn’t raise it in the restaurant as everything else was fine but we did feel a bit short-changed by the price of that main course compared to what arrived.

This is how to run a restaurant - busy, popular but exceptional service and dependably awesome food every time. Energised staff who ensured we were looked after - we came with a large dog and they ensured we had an appropriate spot. Cannot fault this place!
