A fun place for older children and pre teens to have fun over at Blizzard Beach. Located at the bottom of the mountain, kids have a chance to try and walk over big boulders of snow while holding onto nets and other cool things. Definitely a fun place for them to try.

It's ok if you know what your doing. Up there with younger brothers on the tunnel slide and there was NO warning for how deep the water was. They could've drowned! On the signs at the very back (that nobody reads) they say how deep the pool is. Luckily I noticed this but it was just before they were going on the ride! I was able to get a life-vest for one of them. Apart from that, the area is very enjoyable for all ages.

My oldest loves this area. It's her favorite part. Great for older kids not for really young ones.

Yelp
Most parks let on every visitor on the large pads and ropes course. I have never gone to a waterpark that did not let on older kids and their family. This one limits the age to twelve. We did not see any big signs altering us to this fact, so one kid stood in a very long line and was shut down once she reached her turn. They also had a zip line for the other kid and again, there were not enough clear signs with a height limit and she stood in a very long line before she was told her was too tall. The drop was into eight feet of water, and most places allow all ages and a more variety of heights. Wished signage was more frequent and in more places so visitors do not waste their time.
