Skinny Mo's Jazz Club

It is basically a place where a lot of performance are organised, like music shows, stand up comedy and many other similar performances like that. It has a bar and food section from where one can order accordingly. The space is not huge it is pretty small, and it gets crowded when too many people come in. But I personally feel even if it is crowded the vibe is on point, like that crowd gives a amazing boost of energy to someone. The sound quality is amazing to perform. Overall a great place to hang around with some good booze and good music nd light snack.

Definitely check this out for live music in Calcutta. This would also be a great venue for any kind of artistic performance. Consistently booking the best musical artists and performers, a top quality bar and bartenders, good food, a smoking room, even spacious and well designed washrooms. The building has a special vibe perfect for a jazz club.

Loved the republic day evening sessions at Mo's The nibbles and appetizers were great, the kombucha was divine (although they ran out of it mid show) Above all the ambience and the performance by Pelican Shuffle was definitely memorable. Visit Mo's for a private concert food and drink experience.

First time visiting Skinny Mos Jazz Club. It was awesome. Was attending a live music event. The food is delicious and the atmosphere was very good.

The most glamorous yet vintage vibe of jazzy kolkata comes out alive in this unique place. No doubt one of the very special pubs where you can hang around for hours and make new friends right then and there. Coming to the drinks, the two boys behind the bar are the absolute best. They will customize your drinks too. The only con for now is the limitation of variety regarding food. But plenty of small bites. Overall, not just recommended for a single visit, but an adda hun with great vibes, drinks and music!

As someone who doesn't drink alcohol, for me to see good quality tea and coffee on the menu was a gamechanger. I can now enjoy live music over something I can indulge in.

Spent an evening here with my wife, my sister and my friend who is also a blues guitarist. Lovely atmosphere and choice of artists. Real quality! I understand that the entry fee keeps away the "chapris" and maintains the crowd quality. However I would really love it if Kolkata has some free and secretive jazz/blues spots like Chiang Mai in North Thailand, as tourism is sure to be boosted in the coming years, and Skinny Mo's can be one of them!

Intimate venue for live music. Venue is up a few flights of stairs. Multi-course “bistro meals” are simple but filling. Full bar available
