Phase 3 in Singapore: A quick guide on what to expect from 28 December 2020 - SilverKris

"Allowed to participate in a two-month pilot to assess how nightlife venues can operate safely under strict measures: groups are capped at five with no intermingling, a minimum of 1m must be maintained between groups, and alcohol service must cease at 10:30pm. Patrons are required to wear masks except when eating or drinking, and forms of public entertainment including live music, radio/TV, dancing, darts, billiards, pool and karaoke remain prohibited during the trial period." - Joy Fang

Skinny’s Lounge is the kind of place that catches you off guard in the best way. The music? Absolutely on point. Every track makes you want to dance in your seat or grab a friend and hit the floor. The decor is wild and whimsical, with quirky things hanging all over the bar. Some items were so unexpected I found myself staring in fascination. It’s like walking into a grown-up playground where cocktails come with character. Speaking of which, the drinks are well-crafted and priced fairly. It’s a bar that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s exactly what makes it unforgettable.

Had a great time here, friendly people, great drinks, awesome music and fantastic atmosphere! Pop in if you're in Singapore, well worth a trip, and you can take in the interesting art on the ceiling 😉

I’ve been a loyal patron of Skinny’s for the past 7–8 years and have always appreciated the fun and welcoming atmosphere your team creates. I recently returned with a female friend of mine. However, during a recent night out—sometime between 11pm and 1am July 3rd, though we don’t recall the exact time—one of your staff members, Amos, who appeared to be intoxicated, behaved in a manner that was deeply inappropriate and unprofessional. He harassed and taunted my female friend with nasty language over a minor dispute. Regardless of the context, no patron—regular or not—deserves to be disrespected or verbally harassed, especially by someone representing your establishment. We were shocked and disappointed by the encounter. My friend has been a consistent supporter of Skinny’s, and we’ve always felt it was a safe and enjoyable space. Mutual respect should be the baseline for all interactions, and unfortunately, this experience has made us question whether we feel comfortable returning. We sincerely hope this matter is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to address Amos’ conduct. If he was indeed intoxicated, we believe the bar has a responsibility to recognize and manage staff behavior in such situations, particularly when it affects customers. Thank you for taking the time to read this. We hope Skinny’s continues to be a place we can feel good about visiting

Bar is ok, came here about 4x already, close quite early -.- vibes are okok depends on who is there and who u came with. Music is mix, there's indoor and outdoor, smoking can be done just outside the bar at the pavement. Overall is an ok bar to rest and chill. Price wise is also not bad for most drinks.

Cool dive bar full of locals. Was recommended as one of the few happening bars open on a Sunday...it did not disappoint. Bartenders Aza and Qif were friendly and drinks were tasty. Easy place to make new friends.

A nice dive bar, great place to end your night. It has a pool table, beer buckets and music. It's pretty much impossible to get inside now and it's pointless because they barely let anyone in so the ambience inside is pretty lame. But the outdoors is still fun and you are allowed to smoke there which is nice for smokers. Overall we go there pretty often because it's still is fun at times and one of the better place to go out.

8pm is way too early to drink here, but it’s a cool space in a great location. The style is almost like a deliberate and safe dive-bar. Beer mats are pinned to the ceiling, eclectic objects are scattered behind the bar. Their drinks cover the range from Blue Ribbon up to decent cocktails. Probably a good ‘end of the evening’ venue as they are open late.

Yelp
Everyone we talked to in SG suggested that this was a place to go to. They did not disappoint. Next time I come back to SG, this will be the first stop on the night, and maybe the last.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! Skinny's is the place to be if you wanna get crazy in Singapore .... absolutely the best staff that there could possibly be! Shame the commute is 9,000 miles or I would be there every night! Thank you so much for a few nights I'll never forget or remember 100% awesome iamIronPanda approved and totally loved

Yelp
The best bar, not just on Boat Wuay, not just in Singapore, not just in asia, but worldwide.

Yelp
I glanced at this place the last time I was in Singapore but for some reason didn't bother to go inside. Also, while I casually glanced at the name, I had completely forgotten it, and eventually mistook it for another bar in the area. Well, this time I decided to go and check it out and low and behold - it's a dive bar, and a pretty awesome one at that. They have a veranda with a pool table, though the steps that take you up to New South Bridge Road sort of spoils the view a bit (but then again so do the riverside restaurants). The other cool thing - they do half pints, which was something I was particularly looking for in Singapore.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great staff and no you can't hear Nickleback there, but you sure can have a pickleback and a Pabst Blue Ribbon. It doesn't get any better than that! (By the way, Nickleback has a couple of good early albums, indeed...anything after "Silver Side Up" should be off limits.

Yelp
top-notch bartenders, top-notch food, and top-notch music. A great bar to hang with your friends at.

Yelp
I like this bar. They sell beer and play music with guitars. Hands down to best place in Singapore to bring a tinder date, because if she's way uglier than her photos the beers are so cheap that you'll get drunk enough to not care. On an unrelated note, this is where I lost my virginity.
