Skivesset Records

This place is great. It's cozy, there's a lot to look through, and the vibes are really pleasant. I usually show up on a Saturday or Sunday every other week or so; the staff is always excited to help, friendly, recommend great music, and assist me in finding items I'm looking for. Without a doubt, I leave spending more money on records than I had planned, and I'm inevitably happy I did. They've earned a regular customer from me.

Quite a wide variety of music available at the store, and the cashiers were really nice! I'm definitely coming back again next time I have the chance to get some more records.

This place is magical. Just walked in and asked for a specific record from 1991 and the lovely person helping me had it sitting in front of them on the counter. It had just arrived in a shipment after being out of stock for quite some time. Magical place and magical people working there 🙂

I was in Malmo last Feb visiting my son there and took the opportunity to visit Skivesset Records twice. I felt extremely welcomed by the staffs there as they really served me so well. This made me purchase about 10 vinyl records and brought it back safely hand carried…I am back in Malaysia now, tested all and all are excellent. Should have bought more! A huge and brilliant record shop - certainly the best in Malmo. A short hike out of the city centre but well worth the effort. New stuff upstairs and a massive basement full of second hand albums. Good prices. Also some comics, books and computer games

Hands down best record store in Malmö. Collection always surprises me, especially the stuff in the basement. Impressive amount of Indie, in addition to the classics that they also have. Worth your visit!

I have been to around 10 record shops in Lundt, Göteborg und Malmö on a trip in Sweden and this was easily the best one. They have a great selection of vinyl in nearly all genres (Indie, Rock, Reggae, Soul etc.) that consists of new, used and new reduced ones. I found rare stuff for a very fair price - recommended!

Absolutely stunning selection, very blessed to have such a well-stocked and knowledgeable shop close by.
