One of my favourite spots in the city. I came back to Brno after a few years with my international friends and had to take them here of course. We went for brunch on Saturday, the place started filling up only when we were leaving but still wasn’t giving a crowded vibe. If you want a proper coffee the baristas here won’t disappoint you. I had a flat white and it was amazing. The brunch options might be a bit limited, nevertheless the food I ordered was absolutely delicious, great combination of ingredients. The staff was very friendly and quick. Overall the place has a great style and it’s very enjoyable to sit in. Frankly can’t wait to come back.

Skøg really surprised me — I honestly walked in with low expectations and walked out absolutely amazed! 🌿 The decoration is stylish yet cozy, with lovely little touches like tiny plants on every table that make the whole space feel alive. Free tap water (a rare gem!), super professional and kind staff, and an atmosphere that’s just pure good vibes with great music in the background. Food-wise, the scrambled eggs with whipped butter on the side were a dream — simple but elevated, and so tasty. Honestly, this place nails it on every level: design, service, music, and food. Definitely one of the best spots in Brno. Highly recommended!

I like the atmosphere although their musics are a bit too loud sometimes, making it hard to have conversations indoor. The outdoor seating is great when the weather is warm. No wifi. But saw some people working with laptops. The cafe prohibits working after 6pm and on weekends though. Food and drinks are mid and they serve vegetarian. And in the evening they turn to be a kind of bar.

The best breakfast I had in Czech. Lovely cafe, serving classics with a culinary twist. The focaccia was delicious (and vegan) the scrambled egg is also a safe bet. Nice staff, nice venue and outdoor seating on a fairly quiet street.

I stopped by Brno just for a short visit and found this place completely by chance - and I’m so glad I chose it for breakfast. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the location is convenient right in the city center, yet surprisingly calm and not too crowded. The service was excellent, and the breakfast I ordered was absolutely delicious. I had the frittata open sandwich, which amazed me with its unique combination of flavors. I had never tried anything like it before, and I really loved it. I can highly recommend Skog to anyone visiting Brno.

Super yummy seasonal piña colada matcha, and delicious clean food for lunch as well (we had a tempeh bbq wrap & the egg fried bread from the brunch menu). Majority of options are veggie or vegan. It’s a cute and relaxed environment for a work cafe, too, but keep in mind that the floorboards are squeaky if you’re someone who gets distracted by noises.

An atmospheric cafe in the city centre with nice staff. We tried cocoa, chai latte and panna cotta and all of it was delicious. Only sidenote is that the cafe tends to get very full and quite noisy. Usage of laptops is prohibited at the weekends and also when it switches into a bar (from 7 pm on weekdays).

It is definitely now my favorite places in the city. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cozy and stylish – ideal for both catching up with friends or working solo with a good cup of coffee or a cocktail. Their piña colada matcha is top-notch, and the baristas really know their stuff. I want you to make more matcha drinks!!!!!🫶🏼 The brunch menu is available until 2pm. In the evening you can grab a sandwich. When you hear “a sandwich”, you expect some supermarket-bought toasted sandwich. But not here. The freshly baked crunchy bread is just mmmmm🫠 Bonus points for the plants, minimalist decor, and overall great vibe. 10/10 🫰🏼

I expected to be disappointed by SKOG. It looks too perfect, too cool. But I left a fan. First of all, the design is beautiful. The brick walls are painted white and the wood floors are gorgeous. The menu is organized by brunch served until 14.00, snacks, and lots of drinks from cocktails to beer to wine to coffee. My latte was well brewed. The French toast was delicious as was the cheese toast with jalapeño. There's strong Wi-Fi, a little store, and clean restrooms. The only complaint is service. Paying up front, the cashier person was nice. However, our server was very cold, distracted, and slow.

Very cute place, very sophisticated food was well prepared and we had fun. The staff was just amiable. Good job Skøg

Espresso and Pourover: 4.5 Noncoffee drinks (nonalcoholic): 4.5 Atmosphere: 4.0 Espresso and Pourover: 4.5 Great espresso and cortado. Pleasantly sweet and well balanced. My pourover was also quite good (although I enjoyed my espresso more)--I had their Rwanda, which like many other good Rwandas shouted flavors of cranberry and dark chocolate. Noncoffee drinks: 4.5 They offer various tea-like drinks with fruity and herbal mixes. I have to applaud their lemon-thyme drink--it was refreshing yet interesting. Part of their high rating for this one is successful bravery--while anyone can come up with unusual combinations, it has to work for me to be impressed. They would be more around 4 stars overall without that creativity. Atmosphere: 4.0 Comfortable and great for meeting with friends or just working. I personally love the loft floor--great addition. Just one complaint--absurdly creaky floors. It sounds like an elephant in a gymnasium when you walk in the wrong part of the cafe. Will come again.

I can only wish a similar place like this one would open in Prague. This is definitely one of my all time favorite coffee shops. I feel like I cannot even express with words how great the atmosphere in this place is. The interior is just breathtaking, the food and coffee is great, the prices are good! I so recommend this place! I would even dare to say it is worth taking the trip to Brno just because of this place!

It's a lovely hipster-esque cafe, although a tad overpriced and overhyped. The variety of coffees and alcoholic beverages is good, but I wish they had more non-alcoholic options. The service is good!

Great food! Great prices. Hipster young vibe. Fantastic coffee and 70% dark chocolate hot chocolate. Chic decor, classy dim lighting. Great place to come for a delicious vegan meal, cocktail hour, or working on your laptop while sipping a latte. The veggie burger is delicious, so is the Buddha bow. Healthy, full of flavor. Service is good, relaxed atmosphere. In central location by main old town square.

A very nice spot to hang out after touring downtown Brno. Their single malt local beer was very tasty and the burger I tried was delicious. The service was excellent. I didn't know that tipping in Czech is not necessary but I was more than happy to give our server an extra 100krown for his time. I had a great experience.

Good coffee shop. Very interesting location and ambience. Would recommend. Tea is worth a try.

One of my favorite mid day stops throughout my entire trip! This place is comfy, hip, and worthy of your time and money. The menu is not huge but the choices are premium. The prices are reasonable and the service is so friendly. The vibe is so nice here...I wish we had been there at night to check out how it turns into a club/nightlife hang of sorts. So glad I experienced this gem of a place in Brno.

Skog is the kind of places I love the minute I get in! Perfectly decorated with the right blend of white, wood, green and industrial touches, you'll be advised by a friendly/hipster staff member on the type of coffee you'd like to try and the homemade sweet you should combine with it, or which veggie homemade lunch you can have on that day. Because yes, they speak English too :-) I had their portobello burger served with a small salad and their homemade ginger-sth lemonade and it was delicious ! Also went down for a latte - no need to say it was delicious as well. Why should I "only" give it 4 stars? Simply because their wifi is poor quality! And I was in Brno for a business trip meaning I needed a place with good connection ... Otherwise, this place is perfect, especially when you simply go there to enjoy a coffee break or lunch with friends! (Or alone...it works too)

Great atmosphere and fast quality service. They have an outdoor and indoor seating option and it overlooks a quiet square. The floors inside are really squeaky though so don't be surprised if it's loud when you walk inside!

Really enjoyed an afternoon healthy snack in the urban pub. Food tasty, lemonade refreshing, service friendly and not obtrusive. They bring a glass of water without asking which is rarely experienced locallly. Environment is urban modern - true to the name of the place. Wifi could perform better - that's about the only small reservation I could have about the place.

Food, coffee, decor and service at a high level. I will definitely come back here. :)

On-site reaosted coffe, home -made lemonades and desserts in the mornings. Drinks and cultural events in the evenings. Breakfast and simple vegetarian food all day long. All placed in minimalist Scandinavian interior with raw industrial elements.

This place is a great little find on a street off of the main squares! Just walk right in and sit down and you'll find a beautifully decorated place to relax and enjoy some time whether you're alone or with somebody it's a very cozy place! The waitress will come to you so don't worry about placing an order at the counter! There is seating upstairs if you're looking for a quieter location to relax and work. Come check this place out it's a fun place to sit down and enjoy the decor and aesthetics that have been expertly combined!

Love everything about this place! Great coffee, great cocktails, great cakes- and a great place to chat with friends or get some work done. Love it!!!!
