We had the hot chocolate with "the works". It wasn't bad, but I'd struggle to call it good - the chocolate was just too dark for my liking. There's definitely some charm to this place, and it was actively snowing when we went so that helped the hot chocolate out. They also have some nice little items for sale like small bottles that you could put black sand in as a souvenir.

One of the best coffees in the world! ☕️ The menu is huge and full of unique options you won’t find anywhere else. The people working there are absolutely wonderful – their positive energy will lift your mood instantly. Great food (vegan options too!) and desserts too, and fantastic souvenirs that you can only find here. We were lucky enough to meet Jeffrey the Cat 🐈 – the true King of Skool Beans! This place is an absolute must-visit when in Vík. The only small downside is that they close in the afternoon, so no chance for a second treat later in the day – but maybe that just makes the morning visit even more special! Don’t miss it! 💛

I can’t love everything about this place enough! Such a fun genius idea with an upbeat friendly staff. Our group of four tried some decadent hot chocolates!!!!! Wowsa! Dessert in a cup. The lavender hot chocolate was my choice and I am so happy I stepped outside the lines and tried it. Delicious.

Cute School Bus Coffee Shop – Iceland This has to be one of the best coffees we’ve ever had! Served from the most charming little yellow school bus, the whole experience was unique and cozy. 5 stars, well deserved! The vibe, the flavor, everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Iceland!

Loved this place. Drinks and pastries were very unique. Unfortunately Jeff (the cat) was not working so we couldn’t see him, but the staff were so nice, and the bus is FILLED with cute things you can buy.

Super lovely owner/staff. Really cute idea and the bus is decked out/decorated well inside and plenty of souvenirs to buy here including cups, soap, stickers, and other random things. They offer some vegan coffee options and a fairly extensive menu for a school bus cafe. Neat experience and would come again but it is a bit of a wait when it is busy. There is another school bus cafe in a different location trying to do the same thing but both times we drove past that one it wasn’t open, glad this original one was!

This was an amazing experience, it might look very crowded but they work really quick. The owner is a delight and all hot chocolates and coffees we tasted were super delicious. You can also find a selection of very nice cups, socks, pins, and souvenirs that the owner designs themselves and rotate each year. Thank you for this experience <3

We LOVE Skool Beans! The food and drinks were so good and the boys were all so nice and cute and let’s not forget about the beautiful 3 legged cat Jeffery! Honestly that sweet boy needs to be on the list of reasons to visit Iceland! Get the golden milk, thank me later 🥵
