This bakery is a must-visit! We got there in the evening, so most of the items were already sold out – a sign of how popular the place is. Luckily, we still managed to try their cinnamon roll without the filling, and it was absolutely delicious. Soft, perfectly spiced, and full of flavour. Will definitely be coming back in the morning next time to try more of their treats!

Google
Best pastries we have ever eaten. We had originally planned to visit Copenhagen’s oldest bakery once, but it was so good that we had to come back. The first time we waited around 10 minutes, but the second time we didn’t have to wait at all. The atmosphere is really nice and the pastries were delicious.

Google
MY ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE BAKERY IN COPENHAGEN. go early in the morning before they run out. the service was very fast and organized as they do usually have a line. i got two of their berry pastries and they were mouth watering. the pastry was so flaky and fluffy. the tart was delicious and hit all the right spots.

Dionne Chen

Google
Yummy! Not the best pastries I’ve had but well done and also a legendary spot. Definitely worth a visit, and we took it the nearby park on a sunny day. Very limited seating so would recommend doing this.

Steve Mcfadden

Google
Will there be a line? Yep. Is it worth the wait? Undoubtedly! The pastries are light and full of flavor. The whole place smells heavenly and produces some of the highest quality baked goods you can get. 10/10 would make a countries length trip to come back

Google
The food, and drinks were ok, and good price. Preferable takeaway, not dine-in. The staffs were nice, and friendly. Seating area is only available indoor, with limited space. Not good for big groups or more than 4 persons. Toilets for customers are not available.

Google
I visited on a Wednesday to get their famous ‘Wednesday pastry’ and the staff there was so hopeful in explaining everything to me. I arrived around 2pm and there was no wait, and still pastries available. The treat was sooo delicious!! I highly recommend visiting this bakery - especially on a Wednesday!!

Google
Sankt Peders Bageri is the oldest bakery in CPH. This bakery is a must visit. They have the best Spandauer imo. It was so good that I kept coming a few times during my stay. They have a couple small tables if you want to sit down to enjoy your bakeries and have a cup of hot coffee. Service was pleasant. I always came when they first opened at 7:30am but as soon as i sat down, there was already a long line outside the door.

Yelp
When in Denmark, eat pastries, especially a danish made by Danish! This bakery is near a church, hence its name and is a game changer. Ordered a coffee, an irresistible chocolate croissant, and a life changing cardamon danish pastry. No misses, all hits. That cardamon pastry is a game changer. Order it! If I had more time I'd order 3 more. We'll surely be back here one day just not sure when.
google avatar

Yelp
-Customer service: great -Ambiance: cafe like, four tables inside and several outside -Food quality: Wednesday cinnamon roll was phenomenal worth the hype. Pistachio muffin like pastry was also good if you're a fan of pistachio barbital Surprisingly, it is very subtly sweet and amazing! -Bang for your buck: every penny -Would I return? Ya! Too bad they don't have it in my motherland.

Yelp
The oldest bakery in Copenhagen, of course I had to see what the hype is about. This is the first place we went to after reaching the city, in the afternoon, and although it was empty when we arrived, it became crowded shortly after. The space is quite small but as we were there earlier than others, we had the couch area to ourselves. They have so many options on display so we asked the baker to recommend their most popular items and they did good! We tried their cinnamon rolls, cardamom and pistachio buns and holy moly, they were delicious. It lived up to my expectations, and more! The location of this bakery is also perfect. The street where it is located has beautiful colorful houses.
google avatar

Lily H.

Yelp
The best bageri in the city we tried. Part of it was due to the variety of pastries too (many others had a lot of similar options). Everything we tried was flaky, not overly sweet, and just the right amount of filling + bread. Coffees were good too. The inside has several small seats - doesn't look like they ever clean the place. Pastry flakes everywhere, but ignore that and focus on the delicious pastries!

Yelp
We couldn't resist trying a Danish bakery while in Denmark, so we checked the reviews and decided to visit Skt. Peders Bageri. It's the oldest bakery in the country and quite a small place, so most people take their orders to go. The pastries are extremely delicious, and despite the line, it moves quickly. This cute neighborhood bakery is where you'll see regular Danish folks grabbing a morning bite. Everything looks so good that you'll want to try it all! We weren't disappointed at all.

Kim P.

Yelp
Not open - says it is. Could easily post online their updated hours. Walked all the way there and found a closed sign.

Yelp
Came to this bakery based on recommendation. The host suggested the cardamom roll and I have to say it's nearly the best thing I have ever eaten. They have a great selection of pastries and really good coffee. The seating section is small to non existent but I walked and ate my roll and had to exercise way too much self control to stop myself from going back to get another. In Copenhagen, please go!
google avatar

Sam H.

Yelp
We came here both days we were here. It's utterly delicious. The cardamom bun is filled with flavor and is layered wonderfully. Slight crisp in the bottom and chewy goodness with each pulled layer. The boss had the cinnamon buns twice, once with sugar and once with frosting. She preferred the sugar variation better but she really enjoyed the cinnamon buns It's worth the walk. If you want the cardamom, get there earlier because they can well out quickly (and for good reason).
google avatar

Amber P.

Yelp
HOLY COW. THESE CINNAMON ROLLS. They freaking ROCK. 20/10. Best I've ever had. The coffee was just ok, but the cinnamon roll more than makes up for it. The space is small and gets packed, but the service is incredible. Staff were efficient and helpful with making your choice. We wanted everything, but we had to stick to just one item a piece. Definitely prioritize this place!
google avatar

Liz N.

Yelp
My favorite bakery that we went to in Copenhagen!!! We luckily went on a Wednesday which is when they sell their cinnamon rolls. They offer 2 varieties-one with icing and the other covered in sugar. We opted for the icing and when we got it, it was still warm so it really hit the spot. This was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had!!! We also got a cardamom bun since these are so tasty in the Scandinavian countries. Savory but sweet at the same time! They were super busy when we stopped by in the morning. It's a small space so it felt really crowded with limited tables. We also got some coffee and it was tasty as well. It was one of the better places we got coffees from.

Yelp
Wow oldest bakery I have been to ! 17 th century ! Delicious danishes ! Must visit! Very small but definitely worth the wait
google avatar

Preeti R.

Yelp
We couldn't think of a better way to start our trip than with a visit to the city's oldest bakery. In true Danish style, we hopped on our bikes and arrived at Skt Peders in under 10 mins. The street where this bakery is situated is simply beautiful, recommend making your way to this part of town. There was a short wait but the line moved fast since most people got their pastries to go. We ended up ordering the cardamom bun and a poppy seed pastry and devoured them. The best cardamom pastry I have ever tasted and it was perfectly sweetened.

Anna A.

Yelp
Not Worth It We had four types of pastries. The best part was the pistachio-filled croissant. However, the service was terrible and unfriendly. The organization was very poor. There were many people and everything was poorly arranged. You go through the coffee pickup, then to the cashier, and back to the coffee pickup. Overall, the pastries were weak. Juno the Bakery is definitely far superior. The only thing good here was the coffee.

Yelp
skt. peders is a little cafe in copenhagen with assorted pastries and drinks. very limited seating inside so likely take it to go. they seem to have an assortment of swedish/danish pastries and more americanized pastries (ex: their different versions of cinnamon rolls). prices are a bit high but probably standard to copenhagen. came on a wednesday morning around 11:30am and there was no queue. on wednesday, they have half off cinnamon rolls (with icing or sugar on top) so they were 25dkk instead of 50dkk. pastries are very large and quite sweet. // nutella cruffin // cruffin sprinkled with sugar on the outside, nutella filling in the inside. very yummy but quite sweet - shared this with my mom, more than enough for me. would probably taste so good warm. it was 40dkk or around $6usd which is pretty pricey (i had a better cruffin in paris for half the price!) // wednesday cinnamon roll snail with sugar // when we came at 11:30am they were out but then had a new batch coming in 10 minute so we ate it when it was warm! huge and definitely yummy, but again its pretty sweet. i prefer the sugar topping to the icing though

Farah T.

Yelp
just now NEW I walked from my hotel to this location for 20 min, very well worth it. Tasted the cheese sandwich and almond croissant with a cappuccino. Total cost about 30 dollars. Had a great time sitting inside. This location has been established since 1700s. The new owner has been there for 23 years. Very good customer service. I'll be back in the morning again. Visiting from San Diego.

Yelp
This is, hands down, the best bakery in Copenhagen, in my opinion. The Kardemummabullar is to die for and 100% worth the hit to the waistline (that is easily countered by walking for hours around this city), and the coffee is pretty good too. This place is tiny, somehow has not yet surfaced in the big guides and lists, and located a bit off the beaten path (and thank the Pastry Gods for that as this city gets crazy busy over summer). The only possible downside here is that there are just a few places to sit inside or outside. Well, [shhhh it's a secret] you can highjack a table at a nearby cafe/bar for a few minutes while enjoying your shamelessly delicious breakfast carbs. Will be coming back again, and again, and again...

Yelp
BEST. CINNAMON. ROLLS. IN. COPENHAGEN. Must try! There was noticeably a line in the morning in the middle of the week, and my husband and I tried their cinnamon rolls and compared every other cinnamon roll in town to it. They're soooo so good, very soft and hot and fresh. The bakery itself offers some seating for you to enjoy your pastries and drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
This bakery is a must during any visit to Copenhagen! I was very lucky that my ~1.5 day visit to Copenhagen happened to fall on a Wednesday, the one day a week that they make their famous cinnamon rolls. I went around 10 AM and they were sold out, but they said another batch would be ready soon, and when I came back in the early-mid afternoon there were plenty available. I'd recommend either going either early in the morning or in the afternoon. The cinnamon roll was fantastic, but I also got a vanilla danish during my morning visit, and I actually thought that was even better. Probably one of the best pastries I've ever had. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
While visiting Copenhagen for a week in October 2021, my friend and I visited one to two bakeries a day. Close to our hotel (SP34), Sankt Peders was one of two of our favorite bakeries (the other is Juno the Bakery). This bakery is small so it can get crowded inside, but most people get their pastries to go. There's usually a morning line, but with two workers inside, it moves fast. They have a wide selection of pastries, but I went with the chocolate chip bun. It was the right balance of dough to dark chocolate chips. It was perfect!
google avatar

Marc N.

Yelp
This bakery is pretty popular. It's a small little place and usually there's a line because they can only fit like 6 people in there. The wide range of pastries to the service provided here makes it a good option to go to especially since it's also in a good location. I got the cinnamon bun here, but they have about 3 types of cinnamon rolls and other pastries as well. What separates all 3 is the amount of cinnamon in each other them and how the pastry is made. Pretty sure all 3 of them are good though. The one I had was a 8/10.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're looking for history in the form of baked goods, this has got to be on your Copenhagen list. Amazingly delicious treats served by very efficient and friendly employees. My companion and I order a total of 4 sweet treats during our visit. Everything was delicious, but the sweet and savory Cardamom bun was my favorite. I could've easily eaten another in the same sitting. The shop is quite small with limited indoor seating, also limited outdoor. The shop gets hot and very busy, so you're better to take your items 'to go'.
google avatar

Tiffany V.

Yelp
I heard a lot of great things about this place, especially about their famous cinnamon rolls! Upon arriving, we were greeted with horrible customer service which was consistently bad throughout the entire visit. When we asked for separate bags for some of the pastries, the staff member gave us the dirtiest look and it was clear that she didn't even want to talk to us anymore. We felt horrible and did not have a great experience whatsoever. Additionally, the cinnamon roll is extremely overhyped because the sugar was not dissolved in the icing, so it was way too sweet as you could taste the sugar chunks. I would definitely not come back.

Yelp
Pastries Hindbaersnitter - 5/5 Apple Pie - 4/5 Cinnamon Roll - 4/5 Sandwiches Tomato and Mozzarella Focaccia - 4/5
google avatar

Lisa E.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious, so glad we came! If you are in Copenhagen, seek this place out. It's tiny, so there's often a line formed outside. Don't let it deter you, they move right along!
google avatar

Nima A.

Yelp
I had an almond croissant and a macchiato. The croissant that literally melted in my mouth m --it was that good. Crunchy where I wanted it, soft where it mattered. I was tempted to have one of the cinnamon rolls that just came hot out of the oven while I was dining. They looked devilishly good. I'll be back for more! Must check this place out.
google avatar

Bo B.

Yelp
The sandwiches here are so good as are all the baked goods. My favorite was the cinnamon roll and the mozzarella and tomato sandwich.
google avatar

Jenevieve G.

Yelp
The bakery goods are soo good and crunchy, they are famous for their croissant in Copenhagen
google avatar

Stacy D.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place so much after all the great reviews but it just fell short. Ordered a variety of pastries to go. Some customers got things in bags and some boxes. Couldn't understand how it was decided but oh well. We got a bag and by the time we got out, everything was a mess. Cream everywhere. I asked for a box and scooped everything back together and they tried to charge us for it. The ladies at the counter were rude and didn't answer questions or explain. It was like we were annoying them by being there. Croissant and muesli roll were dry but once reconstructed the vanilla cream danish was good so go for that one if you choose to go here. So sad this was our first pastry experience in Copenhagen. Off to find something better.....
google avatar

Edward W.

Yelp
Cinnoman rolls are only sold on Wednesday, so we were fortunate to try them out. They bake them fresh and comes out warm. There are two options, icing vs sugar. I went with the icing option which was quite heavy and I thought it could have been spread more evenly. Also had their version of a Danish pastry. Extremely large so you can order half of one instead. It is covered in chopped almonds, filled with almond filling, and topped with almond and chocolate icing. If you can't get enough almond, this is the pastry for you.
google avatar

Dooney G.

Yelp
The pastries here were fantastic. We had the cinnamon roll and the cardamom twist bun. They were bustling on a Friday morning around 9:30 on our way to the castle. Very small with few seats inside and some outside as well. My Americano was fine.
google avatar

Yelp
I had such fond memories of this bakery from my previous visit to Copenhagen in 2015 that I made a special trip to visit it again! And it lived up to my memories. The Danish-style pastries (such as the "Danish" and a poppy side croissant) have a beautifully supple dough. The sweet buns have the perfect level of moistness, unlike the ones in Sweden that are too dry. And the bread rolls have the perfect amount of yeasty savory flavor. Truly one of the world's great bakeries.

Kristen D.

Yelp
Yes! A must in Copenhagen. Delicious cinnamon rolls, almond croissants and the cardamom bun was a hi light. It's small inside with a few places to sit, but it was steadily busy. It's got history and royal recognition! Go!!
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
Only came because my friend said I had to get a cinnamon roll from here. Low priced and pretty sizable. I believe the cinnamon rolls are a Wednesday only special, so that's when you need to stop by! Honestly craving one now...
google avatar

Ann P.

Yelp
My top 10 bakery of my life. Why? It's in hip Copenhagen and it's old world and charming. The selection of carb treats was astounding. My croissant was divine.
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
Gotta try pastries right ? This local bakery gives you plenty of fresh options. Known for their cinnamon bun, I think they have more to offer. My bun had good layers, subtle flavors that paired well with coffee but I wanted more icing - maybe that's an American deficit, ha. Hub's ordered a pastry with a lemon curd vanilla almond center that absolutely stopped us in our tracks. It was so stinking good after every bite you involuntarily paused to enjoy it. Being starved we also tried the pizza focaccia which was heavy on the bread light on the topping. As far as pastries go - I thoroughly enjoyed this stop and appreciated the ladies at the counter. They deftly handled a constant stream of customers as well as a mighty showing of bees buzzing around the sugary treats in the window. PS - they do have jam for sale and it is well priced, just ask !

Yelp
This bakery was just two streets down from my school, so of course I had to get breakfast here whenever I got the chance. I tried the famous cinnamon roll, or kanelsnegle (17kr) on Wednesdays, and they were so amazing. Although they weren't my favorite cinnamon rolls in Copenhagen, they were definitely on the top of my list. I was lucky the first day I went, because my friends and I were the first ones in the store when they started selling them, but on another day, I went at around 10am, and the line was out the door, at around 15 people, waiting to get their hands on them. They have a sugar coated one, which I got, and a glazed one. The sugar one covers more of the top, so there's more flavor. My friends got the glazed ones and said that the outside, where there was no glaze, was a little dry and lacking flavor. I also got a brown sugar cinnamon bread (18kr), which was very delicious. The bread was so soft and fluffy, and they were very generous with the brown sugar & cinnamon. My favorite thing from this bakery was the frøsnapper (17kr), which is a poppy and sesame seed pastry with a sweet butter filling. The one from this bakery also had a variety of seeds inside, and the dough was very flaky yet chewy. There was so much filling, compared to other ones I've tried, but it wasn't overly sweet.

Yelp
Sankt Peders Bageri is a neighborhood bakery that sells fresh pasteries, baked loaves of bread, and a small array of caffeinated beverages. Prices are relatively good, service was as sweet as their pastries. There are a few arm chairs and a bench to sit at. Apparently they're known for their cinnamon buns. Ordered: Fresh cinnamon bun with icing - soft, a good cinnamon flavor and kick without too much spice, and a nice thick sugary icing. They're apparently only made on Wednesdays "Pop tart" - Hard laminated sugar frosting with crunchy sprinkles, strawberry jam filling, buttery crust. Interesting "gourmet" take on the "pop tart"
google avatar

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Pastries look great but the ones we tried were a little disappointing. We tried a cinnamon bun and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon bun was a little bready and dry and the swirls were gaping and coming apart. Cinnamon flavor was a little understated. The frosting on top was tooth-achingly sweet but didn't add any flavor. The cinnamon roll had a flakier texture but the cinnamon was overpowered by the intense amount of sugar, which was too sweet and grainy. I like that they put cardamom right into the dough but the flavor didn't come through as much as I'd hoped.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Sankt Peders on a Wednesday, do yourself a favor and write it in your calendar ASAP. They only make their famous cinnamon roles, or kanelsnegl, on Wednesday's and the hype is 100% worth the wait. When I lived in Copenhagen I always ran into friends on Wednesday, enjoying coffee and warm kanelsnegl in the cozy cafe. Prices are very budget friendly - around 15-20 kr per pastry (and they are huge!) They have both iced and sugar dusted options - both are excellent. You will not be disappointed!

Yelp
Passing by the bakery on my bike ride home, the smell pouring out of this place compelled me to turn around. I saw buns buns and buns. A window filled with all types of buns. Savory and sweet. I have a sweet tooth so naturally I gravitated towards a cinnamon sugar bun. It was fresh when I bought it but I had to head out so I shoved it in my pocket, ran some errands and remembered it was in my coat when I got home an hour later. Obviously it was no longer warm but it was still delicious. It still tasted fresh and had this great texture that my teeth just sunk into. I'll be back to try the other goods and next time I'll make sure to eat it as soon as I get it when it's nice and warm.

X O.

Yelp
Not bad, but overall a bit underwhelming given the incredibly high bar for bakeries in Copenhagen.

Yelp
Items Selected: Seeded Rye Grov Birkes Hindbaer Snitter Frosted Cinnamon Snegl Custard Danish Cinnamon Sugar Swirl Located in central Copenhagen, reported weekend hours listed online proving untrue on Saturday and thus leading to a second trip in ten hours to Lagkagehuset, it was finally on America's birthday that a visit was paid to Sankt Peders Bageri, the independently owned space with a shabby chic interior proving equal to any of the city's more prominent names in terms of the Baked Goods with service that is more personable and clearly rewarded by significant support from locals. Originally opened in 1632 and having undergone a few facelifts and changes in ownership during 385 intervening years, the current group now in charge for the last seventy, guests visiting Sankt Peders Stræde 29 on weekdays between 06h00 and 17h30 will immediately be struck by just how homey the space feels with its combination of picture frames and low-slung couches, everything about the place saying "sit down and stay awhile," though many Danes on their way to work seem to prefer the take-away option. Managed by two women, one merely a teenager with a middle-aged male baker bringing fresh items from the back throughout the course of a thirty minute stay, it was just past 07h00 that the counter was approached with a request for six items, a 'some now and some later' approach quickly turning into bites of everything as all but one was still warm, first tastes of the Seeded Rye sour and spicy in all the right ways with a good chew while the Grov Birkes was flaky and light around a light smear of Remonce Filling. Next deciding to try one of the Pop-Tart reminiscent squares seen at almost every Bakery in Copenhagen, the Hindbaer Snitter's exterior sort of like a frosted Shortbread Cookie wrapped around Raspberry Jam, it was setting aside most of this overly sweet item that the two types of Cinnamon Roll were investigated, the one soft and much like the versions seen elsewhere with a whole lot of Butter but not much sweetness save for the Frosting while the other was almost like a sugary Biscuit swirled around Cinnamon Streusel, the Danish saved for last one of the most memorable in the city thanks to the light Pastry and not-yet-set Custard.

Margaret P.

Yelp
It didn't live up to the high recommendations. Not enough food variety. Need to update food items. And local residents told us that it was over rated after we had read that it was the best bakery in Copenhagen.
google avatar

Judy S.

Yelp
Cheap and delicious cinnamon rolls. They are actually available everyday but the ones on Wednesday are extra big. (Don't worry, they had maybe like 100 rolls left at 11AM on Wednesday.)
google avatar

Kelsey L.

Yelp
Adorable little bakery with great sweets! We ate at a ton of bakeries while in Scandinavia and the cinnamon roll here was one of my faves. Unfortunately we weren't here on a Wednesday so didn't get to try the infamous Wednesday snails, but the baked goods are still worth a stop by on other days. And it's fairly cheap in comparison to lots of the other bakeries.

Yelp
Yummy yummy yummy! I swear, this is best bakery in all of Copenhagen, or maybe even all of Europe! This is a really special bakery. They have amazing scones, croissants, different types of bread, and homemade pop tarts. The chocolate scones are really the best scones I have ever had and I could them all day long. However, on Wednesdays they serve HUGE cinnamon roles for only $2.5 that are even better than the scones!!! The cinnamon roles are beyond delicious. They are huge and super gooey and taste like absolute heaven. I try to come here every Wednesday because the cinnamon roles are so tasty and always put a smile on my face. As a little tip, if you get your cinnamon role and it is not warm, heat it up before you eat it because they are even better when they are warm. This bakery is super small but yet super charming. It is beautiful and has a very crisp feel to it. I love being in here, even on days that are not Wednesday. Come here everyday, especially on Wednesday's, because if you do, you will be so happy!

Yelp
Originally came here as part of a food tour. We were given the smallest piece of a danish, and that did it. I was sold. Quite possibly the best danish I will ever have. As you walk into this place, the front counter is primarily L shapped, with a glass display case on one side and the main counter divided into maybe two 5 foot long sections. Cashier is in the middle. If you can get there on a Wednesday, then this is the day they make cinnamon rolls, on Wednesday they pump out some 4000 cinnamon rolls ! Yes out of this tiny little place. So of course I had to try the cinnamon rolls, and albeit, I'm slightly tainted from having truly decadent cinnamon rolls in North America, I gotta say this is a winner too, but not in a over the top sweet or gooey way like back home. There are two types of cinnamon rolls, one with icing, and the other has sugar on top. We opted for the more standard icing. Of course we also had a danish. We were able to find a couple of seats and enjoyed our treats before carrying on with our adventures. Overall, This place is tiny, if they can seat 12 people that is being generous. The entrance from the street is from a very narrow sidewalk. The staff are very friendly and are fluent in English. The pastries are amazing ! This will definitely be one of the food highlights of my trip !

Yelp
Amazing danish and cinnamon rolls. Went here every morning we could! Unfortunately closed on Sunday, went to place close by and no comparison! Love the beautiful ladies that work there also! Thanks again

Yelp
How to get here: Get off Nørreport Metro station. Walk on the side McDonald's is, and turn left on the street where there's a 7-11 (if you see Netto, opposite direction). Walk straight until you get to the end of the an old brick building (watch for Sankt Peders Petri) and make a right (if you see St. Mary's, that's a little too far. ) and look for a golden pretzel sign. Drommekage (dream cake) goes fast in the morning but it's so delicious. Their tarts are so worth it. Try the raspberry snitter (looks like a poptart) for the experience. Chocolate and almond croissants are delicious too. Best bang for your buck are the cinnamon rolls or sugar-covered rolls (have no idea what they're called). Pastries start at 15dkk a piece and go upwards to 22dkk for tartes and pizza slices, while sandwiches are 50ish dkk. They serve coffee and chai, though I haven't seen anyone order them. The chai is David Rio. For some reason, ALL of Copenhagen serves David Rio's chai. I have yet to see a masala chai or any other variety or brand. Bring and extra baggie if you're carrying them back home, because they crush easily and the oiliness just turns the paper translucent in no time, leaving bags exposed to oil. Apparently there's a student discount? tl;dr: great little bakery, perfect for trying Copenhagen's traditional baked goods like drommekage, hindbaer snitter, almond croissant, full-grain loaves, and your French favorites like pain au chocolate.

Best danish I've ever had. I am not even a huge danish person because I think they are too bread-y but this was amazing. I got the vanilla custard traditional one and I don't even like custard. The filling was smooth and had the perfect texture and vanilla flavor. You got some filling in every bite because the crust is almost folded over the filling I think. The crust is flakey like a croissant. If every danish was like this or even half as good I'd be a danish person for sure.
