Skulptur i Pilane

It opened on the 17th of May 2025 and we informed the employees that this information should be changed. Nice area to walk and watch the sculptures. If you are with babies better to take sling, baby stroller was not the best solution. Entrance fee 160 sek for an adult and 140 sek discounted.

Mixed feelings on the sculptures like with every modern art, some will say wow, some will say meh. But the area is huge so it doubles up as a hike ;)

A beautiful place with amazing sculptures in a stunning location full of history. This mix between art, history and nature is unique and makes this a place to visit for the whole family. You can easily spend 1,5-2 hours walking around in the area. There is a small kiosk at the entrance. The ticket for an adult costs 150sek, parking is available.

Beautiful! A short walk between the sculptures. Ticket for adults 150k, children under 18 free. You also have to pay for parking: 2 hours. 75k. I think it is a bit expensive…

It's a beautiful place for a walk, definitely worth the drive. Entry is free, though only three statues remain. There's plenty of good parking nearby.

In the middle of the wonderful islands nature. A perfect combination of earthes and human art :) Always worth a sight!

Fantastic place with fantastic view, especially on top besides „Anna“. Perfect spot for lunch with a view. The kids had fun climbing all the rocks. Toilets are at the parking lot, parking fee is 35 SEK for two hours and works via the „EasyPark“ app.

Once you actually get to the Skulptur in Pilane, it's a great outing. If you're coming from Gothenburg on the weekend, be forewarned!!!! Your app will tell you that you take the train to Stenungsund where you transfer to a bus which you take to Kållekärr where you transfer to another bus which takes you to Pilane. You'll still need to walk a ways to the entry. However, you are required to call at least an hour ahead to schedule a taxi to pick you up for the final leg. There is NO BUS. And, if you don't know this in advance (and how could you POSSIBLY know this random, unadvertised requirement???) you have no Uber or Lyft available. We saw the same taxi driver back and forth on our 8km walk to the sculpture park. But when we called a taxi company, they said it would be 520sek, about $55! So take a car if you can. Parking is free. And, by the way, be prepared to use a porta-potty. There are snacks available but no real food.
