Absolutely disappointing experience — avoid this company.
We booked a 6 a.m. hot air balloon ride in Mexico City — the prime time to catch the sunrise. We had paid in full, received a receipt, confirmation, and even had our bank statement to prove it. But when we arrived, they claimed our reservation didn’t exist.
Instead of resolving the issue professionally, they kept us waiting for two full hours while they “investigated,” waking up their finance guy and clearly having zero idea how to handle the situation. No apology, no compensation, no sense of urgency — nothing.
Eventually, they did find our payment (as we had been saying the whole time), but by then the best time for the ride had long passed. To top it off, they didn’t even seat us together on the balloon ride, which was the bare minimum they could have done after wasting our time and ruining the morning. They made my girlfriend cry as a cherry on top.
The only bright spot was David, the balloon operator, who was kind and professional — but unfortunately, one good person can’t make up for an awful overall experience.
This company is disorganized, careless, and clearly doesn’t value its customers. We will not be recommending them to anyone.
