Sky Garden

Our second time in visiting The Sky Garden. The first was in 2021 when we visited early evening to watch the sunset, this time we visited with our daughter for drinks in the evening and had a great time. Our visit was in January and it was chilly. Luckily the seats we had, had heated cushions. The gardens are based over three floor with great views over London in multiple directions. My favourite view being the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. The main bar is the largest area and also has a music and dance area. There is a second bar on the top level at the back. The drinks are about normal for London at about £16 plus service charge at time of writing. The menu offers a small range but they will make others as well. You are given a reservation for 1 1/2 hours but depending on how busy it is they don't chase you out, this is a great place to spend a evening as you get somewhere to sit, table service and a chance to have a dance. We had a good time, and its definitely worth checking out.

The dining options are a pleasant surprise as well. Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee, a cocktail, or a meal, the food and drink offerings feel thoughtfully curated. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the experience. While entry is free, booking ahead is essential due to its popularity. The only minor downside is that it can get a bit crowded during peak times, but it’s well worth the visit. Sky Garden offers a serene escape in the heart of London.

Sky Garden is an absolute gem in the heart of London! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with spectacular views of the city, making it a perfect spot for photography or just soaking in the skyline. The lush greenery adds a tranquil vibe, creating a relaxing contrast to the urban surroundings. The seating areas are comfortable, and it never feels overcrowded. The bar serves refreshing drinks, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Whether you’re visiting for the views, the atmosphere, or just a peaceful break, the Sky Garden is a must-see.

I wasn’t able to book in advance tickets for the Sky Garden, but this place is so pretty that we had to try to go up anyways. The staff was super kind telling us they were going to decide in a little bit if they could let people with no reservation get inside. We waited around 10’, then they let us at 11am. The place is amazing. Very worth the visit and getting coffee/drinks with one of the priceless views on London. It’s very clean, organized and calm.

What an exceptional surprise to find that a rooftop of this caliber offers free access! Kudos to everyone who made this possible. The process of acquiring the free tickets was seamless, and the entry experience was well-organized, with the right level of security and efficient queue management. Once inside, we were greeted by a stunning and spectacular garden in the clouds—truly a sight to behold. What impressed me even more was the pricing at the bar. You’d expect sky-high prices or to be bombarded with overpriced souvenirs, but that wasn’t the case at all. The bar had accessible, reasonably priced options that made it easy to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views. A must-visit destination in London, and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

My fiancé and me celebrated our New Years eve there. It was so much fun! Live band was super good and atmosphere and decoration in the Sky Bar was truly spectacular. The views were easily best views in town of the fireworks and surrounding landmarks like the Tower Bridge. I recommend getting a table in the Sky Bar for the evening as it also comes with heated seats. Truly a night we will never forget!

Great way to view London from above! There is two levels as well as a terrace which allows a 360 degree view of the city. It is spacious so you won’t have trouble getting photos from all angles! Lots of seating available and there is a bar and restaurant as well. Tickets are free and released every Monday for three weeks in advance (highly recommended as walk-ins were limited). On peak days the lines are quite long but security was swift. The lift is fast so you don’t have to wait long for the next one. The only complaint I have is how the first line is managed. There is a sign saying Walk-ins on left and Tickets on right but no one seemed to obey this. There was just one long line. They need some sort of barrier to separate the two lines or a person managing it as it got quite confusing.

Spectacular 360 view of London. It’s in 35th floor and has a much better view than London Eye. There are plenty of spaces, chairs and tables for coffee. An outdoor balcony which offers better view south side of the river. The garden inside is very interesting. 2 restaurants in the upper floor. Well worth the visit and queue. 👍
