Sky Hostel Almaty

Such an awesome hostel! A must if you are staying in Almaty. Amazing views from the rooftop, incredibly friendly and helpful staff (Arman went above and beyond to assist us in getting settled, showed us around and was incredibly hospitable). The other guests were very friendly and courteous. There are also kitchen facilities, free wifi and the place is kept really clean.

Amazing views, helpful people and a lively crowd. What more can you ask for in a hostel. They connected us with tour guides to take us to locations outside of Almaty.

Good hostel. Clean. The hygiene is good in private rooms. Nice view. Would recommend it. Prices are fair. Friendly people who will help you if needed.

The hostel is super clean, the beds have curtains, and the receptionists are super friendly and helpful :) they helped us with finding events, looking for cars, buses, etc. There is also an awesome terrace with views from top of city (facing the mountains). Looks like terrace might even have a bar during the summer but I’m unsure.

Nice central location. Friendly staff and the most beautiful view of the mountains for your morning coffee. Very clean. An own eating area and fridge for use. Internet in rooms and common areas. Good standard and prices. No carpet on floor that we liked. Helpful with washing of clothes.

Nice hostel. Really good location and great communal area (this was not available for much of Friday night though). The staff are very friendly and helpful, the beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is decent and the kItchen facilities are good. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Almaty.

Fun and friendly hostel. Good value. The organization of the kitchen and in particular the fridge could be improved (a freezer set at the lowest setting does not function as a second fridge, believe me). Great views.
