Sky Hotel

There is much to love about this hotel. And what you don’t love might just be quirky enough to make you smile anyway. Stayed for 8 nights and you can’t beat the location for easy walking access to many main sights. Staff is young and friendly and speaks English well enough. Room was spacious and quiet (from outdoor noise) but not well sound-proofed. That wasn’t a problem for me as guests are asked and expected to be courteous. In- room safe and mini fridge were handy. Loved the bathroom nightlight on a sensor and got used to the water system (shower is not a highlight even with the rain faucet). Bed was so comfy and linens were soft. A cloth robe and disposable slippers made evening room lounging comfortable after a full day of sightseeing. Breakfast was a choice from about 7 pre-arranged menus and I sampled all of them. Usually sat on the terrace and was served by hotel staff eager to make my day start right! Not gourmet but tasty and filling. There are also snacks and beverages for purchase. Entry to hotel is through 2 locked gate/doors with a buzzer system. I really liked staying here and I would return…just know that if you have demanding standards, Sky Hotel will probably not suit. And that’s too bad because it’s a great place to experience.

Hard to find , but once you buzz through a gate and find the door, this is a great place, in a great location. 5 minutes from Hermitage. Rooms are small, modern and clean. not all ensuite but the shared facilities are very well looked after and clean. Once through the gate in the picture , walk under the arch and buzz through door on right. Door lobby is scruffy but once on the 6th floor the hotel is really nice. Breakfast is minimal, adequate. Good coffee.

We stayed at the Sky hotel for two nights. The location was excellent, the room very warm and comfortable and the bathroom had a very nice heated floor. We were mostly out and about and the price of the room suited us perfectly. We could virtually walk or take public transport everywhere. They also took good care of our luggage before check in and after check out. The fact that they had a full bathroom that we could use, before check in was also great. The breakfast is not a buffet but pre-ordered and not that great, but we were not there to eat. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Cute hotel within a courtyard on sixth and seventh floor in the most perfect location. Steps from restaurants, stores, grocery store and top sightseeing sites. Nice breakfast and cool view of city and cathedral from their balcony. The sweetest, nicest front desk staff. I loved talking to them. Rooms are nice and clean and well set up. Great place for my six night stay.

Don't judge the hotel by the shabby patio or the look of the ground floor. The Sky Hotel is located at the sixth and seventh floor and it's a really nice place to stay. All of the staff speaks English and they are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but clean, nicely furnished and in a good condition. We chosed a room with its own bathroom but if you don't care and want to safe some money you can also take a bathroom you share with other guests. I liked the common room and especially the terace. Breakfast is okay but I considered it to limited. Sky Hotel is located at the heart of the city, a lot of sights can be reached in a few minutes. For what you get the price is adequate. We enjoyed our visit there.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Great little hotel that looks newly refurbished but extremely difficult to find. No signage out front. Only the name of the hotel on the intercom at the gate to go inside a courtyard. When we got there the intercom wasn’t working but luckily other people came and let us in. Rooms were small but ok for 1-2 people. Shower was a little small but good water pressure and plenty of hot water. |The walls here are not soundproofed and you can hear what’s going on all about so wouldn’t recommend for light sleepers.|Don’t bother with breakfast. It’s a boxed breakfast that’s heated up in a microwave and is really basic and not tasty at all. Plenty of options outside the hotel|Overall it’s adequate and a great price. We did enjoy the little terrace too.

The hotel in super super good spot, in the center of the city. There are many places to eat around and many of the attractions are nearby. Keep in mind that not all rooms have their own bathrooms and toilets. Nevertheless the price is very good, rooms are clean there is terasse, and personal is very kind and collaborative. 5/5 :)

Good hotel, rooms are small but clean and nice. Breakfast is provided, you have a choice between porridge, eggs and sausage or bread, but everything pre-made and microwaved. The coffee is good, grinded from fresh beans. The location is really good, walking distance to the whole city center.
