The food and service were incredible! Jaakko was very knowledgeable about the dishes, personable, and had great recommendations. Meeting the young chef behind the masterpiece was a real treat. The food was all a work of art combining unique flavors with amazing taste and presentation. I will be highly recommending this place and the 5 course meal to everyone.

Food is amazing, we tried the dishes that used local fish, meat and mostly everything else and it was an experience, the atmosphere is very chill and and the view is complementing everything said above. In the winter this place is probably magic, we will see)

I stayed at the hotel and went to enjoy their suprise 5-course menu, which tasted beautifully. Regional cuisine/ingredients paired with modern technique and sophisticated plating. Also, the staff was super friendly and a special thanks to Johanna for her kind service throughout the evening! (Broke some of the plating before taking pictures, sorry :) )

Myself and my husband went for dinner here last weekend. We went for the 5 course Menu with pairing wines. Although pricy this food was in my opinion Michelan star Worthy. Each course was made of locally sourced ingredients. Which were balanced perfectly. I am usually quite a picky eater given that I am not a huge fan of fish but they had fish in the menu a few times and each was delicious! I would also note that I requested gluten free food and all courses were adapted to suit without losing any of the visual wow factor. Staff were friendly and the place itself had some amazing views. Our pairing wines were excellent and the best wine we had on our trip to Lapland.

We had a fantastic evening! The 5-course menu was a real surprise - every dish was creative, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. A huge thank you to Johanna, who took such great care of us. She was not only super friendly but also explained each course with so much knowledge and enthusiasm. And of course, hats off to the chefs - we were truly impressed! We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic Dining Experience – Thanks to Johanna and the Kitchen Team We had a great evening at Sky Kitchen, where we went with the five-course surprise menu on Johanna’s recommendation. And we’re really glad we did. Every dish was well thought out, both in terms of flavors and presentation, and the creativity in each course was impressive. A nice touch was that two of the chefs personally came out to present their dishes, giving us some insight into their ideas behind them. The whole experience felt very well put together, and the service was just as great as the food. Everything was so good that we decided to come back again today. Big thanks to Johanna and the kitchen team for making it such an enjoyable evening!

Great experience at the Sky kitchen. We took the surprise menu at 69 €/person with excellent mocktails. The service was also really great and they are friendly:)

Yelp
If you're in the Lapland region, do not miss this restaurant. I booked this restaurant for an anniversary dinner through a travel company so our menu was already set. To start, we had a carrot soup and reindeer tartare (which I promise is much better than it sounds when you think about possibly eating Rudolph). Both options were delicious and if we could have licked the plate, we would have. Our server also brought out complimentary sparkling blueberry wine and homemade bread. The bread is out of this world and was gone from our table in a matter of minutes. Our entree' was a seared cod with cauliflower mash which was even better than the starters, if that's even possible. Our dessert was a blueberry gelato with merengue. Now, the food was incredible but the location is what just puts this place over the edge. Located a little outside of the city center, this restaurant can be incredible for catching a glimpse of the northern lights. Following our wonderful candlelit dinner, we made our way up to the hotel roof where you can see all of Rovaniemi and hope that the lights will come out. Though it was cloudy when we first went up, the clouds cleared up and we got the most incredible show of lights. The staff brought us hot blueberry juice in traditional Finnish wooden mugs so that we could enjoy it while we sat upstairs enjoying the lights. (Bonus, we got to keep the cups!) As soon as the lights were covered back up by clouds, magic happened and snow started to fall. You may not get this same experience considering it's all up to the weather. But if you're in this region, you're doing yourself a disservice by not visiting. I will happily be back as soon as I can just for the food!
