Note: this hidden gem is on the upper floor! Food tastes like home, made with love. Service is dedicated. Atmosphere is secluded, musty, authentic, homemade. Price is twenty pounds per person for all the meals. There's a bring your own alcohol policy in place, a small charge applies - well worth it. All the people are on one long table, dishes get served A hidden gem, alternative! And it should remain hidden, a hipsters vibe - it's that good. Most importantly, effort and love have been poured into this tiny crevice, culture pouring into the guests. Additional plus - you can buy home made kimchi. Show me a better place I'll wait.

Food was ok? The fruit and crab salad was my favourite thing. Main was too salty and kind of a chore to get through. It was really boring to eat, flavor wise. I didn't like it. I like the rice mixed with nuts and potatoes though, that was nice. The desert was a generic chocolate mousse and I was hoping for something more interesting. Really hated the long table seating. It's not a friendly place for people who don't like crowds and loud noises. Also this is not the fault of the restaurant but it smells so bad outside (strong urine odour) and every time someone opens the door the smell wafts in and it was honestly so disgusting. Also we booked for 6:30 and the food didn't even start coming out past 7 so what was the point? 😭 We just had to sit around for 30 minutes waiting for food to even begin. I was really looking forward to this evening as this place was highly recommended to me but it was honestly very disappointing.

Unique experience, you’ll be able to eat lots of different dishes in one setting. I liked the concept of set menu and you get a lovely surprise in each course. We were absolutely full after the dessert so very good value for money as well. The only thing I would like to have had is the menu in detail and possibly the heritage of each dish? I wasn’t sure how a lot of things we ate were related to Korea. Probably because I don’t know enough about Korean cuisine. Anyway it was full of flavour and I was very happy to eat so many different kinds of food.

It is a must visit when in Bristol. A very unique experience. One host and one chef making a beautiful atmosphere. It is like one big chef table the chef makes the food and the host brings it amd explains everything. Fresh and local ingredients. Homemade pickled vegetables and other beautiful food. It is a very special place which I will remember and recommend to everyone. It is cash only, and it is brign your own drink wich the host takes a little provision. We will definitely come back there again for new experience.

Wizzy is providing lunches until it closes on June 22! If you check their Instagram account before you go, you’ll know if there is lunch that day. As for dinner, it is available in two seatings every Friday and Saturday. The hours are incorrect. The lunch timings are roughly 12:30-13:30 but food may run out faster on some days. The lunch box is just £4.5 and you get generous portions and many options, different every day. It’s nourishing and delicious at the same time, honestly the highlight of my days working in the office! The dinner’s portions are huge as well, with so many courses. I’d recommend going there with others, but for lunch, it’s nice to go by yourself as well and have a chat with Wizzy who always has lots of insights to share about food, the environment, and her philosophy!

The most incredible meal I’ve had in Bristol. Wizzy makes you feel as though you’re eating at her kitchen table. Every dish was executed with precision, care and soul. A must if you are in Bristol.
