Skybury Cafe & Roastery

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Skybury Coffee farm and cafe yesterday. Was fun to have coffee tastings and learn about the different roasting methods. We also tried their varieties of paw paw jam and chilli paw paw sauces. The lunch out on the veranda was great, with an amazing view where we watched the weather rolling in: thunder, lightning and rain. Make sure you are not in a rush. A great place to have a coffee and take in the scenery. The informative 40 min film is also well worth watching. A fun day out.

10 stars 🤩 Your Affogato has spectacularly outcompeted all previous restaurants and cafes, including my travels of Italy 😆. This beautiful cafe building is surrounded by gorgeous tropical gardens and serves delicious food, papaya jam tasting and liquor tastings. Friendly staff, stunning views and delicious coffee.

I finally had the chance to visit Skybury Cafe & Roastery after two unsuccessful attempts, and I must say, the third time was indeed lucky. Driving 40 km just for their coffee may seem like a stretch, but trust me, it's absolutely worth it. The location is stunning, and the friendly staff make you feel right at home. Their coffee tasting of three varieties adds a special touch to the experience. Despite facing adversity from Cyclone Jasper, the people at Skybury remain resilient and humble, which is truly admirable. It's saddening to hear about the loss of their papaya plantations, but as they say, 'c'est la vie.' I ordered a big coffee and scones, and they were hands down the best I've ever tasted in Cairns. Overall, Skybury Cafe & Roastery offers not just exceptional coffee and food, but also a heartwarming experience that leaves a lasting impression.

Had brunch with the family. The atmosphere was lovely, sitting on the outside deck area surrounded by the wilderness with a fresh breeze. The food was yummy especially the scones with papaya jam and cream. Unfortunately the cream was the one out of a can but overall it was a lovely meal. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When we were leaving it began to bucket down rain and Jessica a waitress there, was nice enough to walk us up to the car holding an umbrella. Can’t ask for more than that! Will definitely visit again.

Stopped in for a viewing of their farm videos on the big screen. Coffee and Papaya grown right here. Great tasting section. Delicious!

What an amazing place. Service was impeccable and we were greeted at the door and offered to have our photo taken at the balcony swing. Great food and exceptional coffee. Grabbed a few goodies, coffee beans and fresh papaya. Food and service is 10/10. This is our new favourite stop off in the Atherton Tablelands. See you all again soon!

Repeat visitors whenever we are up this way because of the excellent service, food and products. This is more than a cafe, it's an experience. Incredible views and a relaxing atmosphere await you. Quintin and the team will make you feel at home and go to great lengths to ensure your visit is memorable. The coffee is incredible, the papaya divine and there are so many other wonderful locally made and sourced products available. However, it's the warm welcome that will keep us coming back for more.

The Skybury Cafe & Roastery was on our bucket list since we follow them on social media a while ago! We made it and are happy we drove all the way up to smell & taste the true authentic coffee that is produced there! Our surprise was to find out from our incredible hosts that they also produce other products such as papaya, and skin products made from it, and liquors like Vodka! A Must visit place with family, friends, kids✨We will be back!
