"A beachfront property on Seven Mile Beach with loungers, a restaurant serving Jamaican fare, a spa, and colorful rooms with balconies." - Travel + Leisure Editors
"Why we love it: A design-savvy boutique hotel with direct beach access The Highlights: - Bright design that’s full of personality - A focus on exploring the hotel’s natural surroundings - Direct access to pristine Seven Mile Beach The Review: A welcome departure from the classic Negril resort scene, this stylish boutique hotel—opened in 2018—melds local flavor, a vintage Havana feel, and a contemporary sensibility in a way that speaks to the curious, independent traveler. Set along 220 pristine feet of Seven Mile Beach, the hotel features a clean-lined, mid-century modern-inspired aesthetic throughout, accented by bright textiles, artwork, and a curated soundtrack that celebrates the history of Jamaican music. Room options range from studios set on the second floor of the accommodation wing, to options with patios or balconies looking out at either the garden or the ocean. All have air conditioning, USB outlets, Bluetooth radio, free Wi-Fi, and mini-bars. Skylark is big on encouraging guests to explore the area, whether that means taking advantage of the direct beach access (the hotel provides loungers, paddleboards, snorkeling gear, and beach games, plus food and beverage service), going for a boat ride, hiking to a waterfall, or zip-lining through the jungle."

From the moment I arrived, everything at Skylark felt right. The front desk, service, care, attention, energy and vibes were all on point - the staff are truly special. Big shout out to whole team. I love the decor and the attention to detail, especially the nod to vintage travel - very cool.||And the spa… one of the best massages I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a few) followed by a bath and soak with an ocean view. Pure paradise. Miss Lily’s Restaurant is great too.especially when the full menu can be enjoyed on the beach. ||And of course a visit to their sister property Rockhouse - a must if you can get yourself off the beach. It’s hard. ||Authentic Jamaica with a bougie twist. Nothing is ever a problem here. I felt completely at home and I’ll absolutely be back.||Thank you Skylark. You made my birthday trip with family and friends one we will never forget.

The property is absolutely beautiful but what makes Skylark is the employees who love their jobs - from reservations with Stephen and Ricardo to the amazing housekeeping staff Maneisha and Kadian treat you like family . We love the restaurant and Abigail greats us with a smile and our names to President and Isaac go over and above to make your stay the best. Can get any safer with the best security ever . We love Paul !
The beach staff works so hard! Can’t wait to go back and see the family again !

The staff here is amazing. Special thank you to issacs, who took care of us everyday at the beach. And to Sophia who provided the best spa experience of my life. Highly recommend the deep tissue massage and raptor bath. The front desk staff were always helpful. The food at Lily’s was good and had a wide variety of food. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were okay, not great. They had a super musty smell. Perfect location on the beach!! Took the complimentary shuttle to the rockhouse one day which was super cool.

Having been to Negril more than 20 times, Skylark is a perfect example of one of the best boutique resorts you will ever find. Clean, well decorated, beautiful property. The staff is obviously well trained to take good care of all of their guests. Couple that with the beautiful beach and amazing restaurant on property, you can’t go wrong at this resort.

We took the shuttle from the Rockhouse and spent time on the beach. We were greeted and got loungers. All the staff was friendly. We felt safe and comfortable at the property. We had drinks and light fare. Some things were not available every day for food but we found something we liked. The beach is shallow with no drop off. Walking the beach is a must but be ready for the hustle. But you can walk your legs sore here. Definitely an added value to staying at these sister hotels.

Just coming in from Bakayaad and staying on the beach at Skylark, drinking cocktails and eating their delicious food ( loved the veggie sandwich and jerk fries). The staff are really helpful and friendly. Sephron the Lifeguard in particular made sure he looked after us and found us some loungers. It’s a great place to hang out on Seven Mile beach.
