Wow, what a place to stay! This is a beautiful lodge, with great hosts. The food was fantastic, the rooms were warm and inviting, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly. We would come back to here in a heartbeat. They had fresh baked sea salt chocolate chip cookies waiting for us in the lobby when we arrived. Breakfast was included with your room, and it was a delicious huge breakfast made to order.

When I saw the Solo Travelers event announced, I booked right away. I had been looking for that type of adventure for some time. It was exactly what I had in mind. Full days of riding in the colors and scents of fall. The back country of Yellowstone and the Beartooths provide exhilarating rides that can't be beat! I was paired with a beautiful, sure-footed mule who took great care of me. The accommodations were rustically elegant, a decor style I love. And the food .... breakfasts and dinners .... along with the packed lunches we carried in our saddle bags .... extra special and so yummy!!! The entire family and staff go the extra mile to make sure everything is incredibly special. My time with Skyline Guest Ranch couldn't have been any better. It was everything I hoped it would be! I've booked again for next fall!

Skyline Ranch near Cooke City, MT exceeded every expectation! My teenage daughter and I came hoping to make lifelong memories - and we did. From stunning horseback rides through Yellowstone and exciting fly-fishing adventures to cozy cabins, delicious meals, and unforgettable wildlife sightings (we saw everything - bears, wolves, moose, and more!), every day was incredible. The horses were fantastic, especially a hilarious mule named “Ricky Bobby”, and the guides were top-notch.|The entire ranch family, especially Kameesha, made us feel extremely welcome - we truly felt like part of the family. This was more than a vacation; it was an experience we’ll cherish forever. Highly recommend!

Based upon a friend's recommendation, I stayed, rode and fished at the Skyline Lodge. It greatly exceeded my expectations and as others have already written...the accommodations are five star, but the family taking special care of us was friendly, warm, caring and genuinely wanted our stay to be the best. Food was better than anywhere in the area of Yellowstone. I highly recommend for families, outdoor activities, and ranch related/fishing activities. I'll never forget my experiences in Yellowstone on their horses. Thank you to the Morris family.

100000000/5. My friend and I had the most incredible stay at skyline in June, it was a lifechanging trip that we will remember forever. The food was incredible, fresh, delicious and heartwarming. The family running the ranch are absolutely incredible, and make you feel a part of their family right away. The rides are breathtaking and each trail is incredibly diverse with different landscapes and feels. In the three days of riding it felt like we were in three different parts of the world. Can't wait to come back - truly a trip of a lifetime.

I spent 5 nights here when they did an artist workshop (so cool) and don't think I've ever felt more welcomed or at ease away from home before. The family is amazing and so kind, going above and beyond when it came to care. The food was the best I've every had, with every meal blowing me away! Also, the trail rides were the coolest. We saw 4 moose, and two sets of mama and baby black bears. Will hopefully go back again someday😊

Life changing experience! I visited solo for the women’s retreat and everything was truly magical. This incredible family and their team put their heart and soul into this ranch. The accommodations, activities, FOOD, horses, and location are absolutely top notch THE BEST! You leave feeling like family and can’t wait to visit again.

I would give Skyline Ranch in Montana greater than a five if possible. I found the accommodations, staff and meals, top notch. Kameesha and the other kitchen staff prepare a five star menu each and every meal. Luke, Kaleb, Lucas and Coltier are experienced guides, I found most caring about the proper horse and trail that fits your desire. Take in the miraculous landscape because there’s plenty to experience. Bring your binoculars! Wildlife everywhere!

Such a beautiful place! As a guest I definitely felt welcomed and pampered. Perfect stay! Astounding scenery, a cozy yet luxurious room, delicious hot breakfasts, friendly staff and animals. No worries at all, no hesitation to recommend. The basics are wonderful (comfortable bed, fluffy towels, hot water, good water pressure, neat and clean room). But everything beyond the basics was great too! And so worth it! Special highlights were seeing deer and a moose on the property, a stunning horseback ride, and amazing sweet treats at the desk. I have many happy memories to cherish, and I'd love to return one day. This is where you want to be if you're visiting the area! I can't imagine a better spot to relax and unwind after exploring Yellowstone. Skyline Guest Ranch thank you!

We make this trip through Cook city, about every three years and always stay at the Skyline Guest Ranch just east of Cook city,. Headed to bear tooth pass on the left. Nice cabin fill, each room have a special name. Beds are nice. The breakfast is amazing. Laura and Luke have taken over and doing a great job. You can take Great horseback ride or have them take you up on the lake and do a little fishing or just stay in pass through. That's what we do, enjoy you won't be disappointed and then head down chief Joseph scenic Highway in the Cody Wyoming

I stayed at another cabin in Cooke City-Silver Gate and just drove east on the Beartooth Highway. I saw a sign board at the entrance of Skyline Ranch that they offered Horseback riding. I signed up for a last minute two hour ride. Kylie was our guide that trip and he was very courteous and knowledgeable. It was my first horse riding experience but he made it easy for me. There were two doggos who welcomed guests :) and they accompanied us the entire trip, chasing squirrels along the way. It was amazing to be able to cross small lakes and climb up cliffs. The view of Kersey lake from up above was just scenic. Highly recommend if you are in that area and have a couple of hours to spend. You might spot wildlife if you are lucky. The horse I was on - Trudy and she was a gem.

Everything about Skyline is wonderful! The Morris family are such a joy to be around, the lodge is quaint and welcoming, the food was delicious, scenery is beautiful and the riding and fishing was astounding! I highly recommend Skyline! We look forward to returning some day!

We recently stayed at the Skyline Guest Ranch. Our accommodations were excellent-very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! Would highly recommend staying here if you are going to be in the area. The drive in was spectacular too.

Skyline Guest Ranch and Guide Services in the REAL deal! Our group of fly fishermen has been using Skyline for years. The accommodations at the lodge are incredible. Delicious breakfast included. Vic, Liz and family really takes care of you. We have been going out to Cooke City early July. The multi night backcountry fly fishing trips into Yellowstone is just fabulous. Vic, Luke, and the boys are hard workers, and make your time in the backcountry amazing. Our group have been taking the full service fly fishing pack trips into Yellowstone's Slough Creek(Third Meadow). Nothing like having that Native Yellowstone Cutthroat trout taking your dry fly! Great for couples too. My wife and I reserved a week at the Lodge few years ago. Northeast entrance to Yellowstone only 4 miles away. Great Day trips though Beartooth Highway to Red Lodge. Joseph Highway to Cody. Location, Location Location! Honest reasonable rates for accommodations and Guide Services. Relax and enjoy the outdoors of Yellowstone's country.
