The Best Places to See the Fourth of July Fireworks at Niagara Falls

"It's not often you get the chance to look down at fireworks, but that's precisely what you get if you ascend Skylon Tower on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, which tops out at 775 feet above the Niagara River. On top are a rotating restaurant and an observation deck—we recommend making a dinner reservation before the Fourth of July fireworks, then heading to the observation deck for the show."

9 of the Best Niagara Falls Viewpoints

"If you want an aerial view of the falls that doesn't involve a helicopter, head to the top of Skylon Tower. This Space Needle–like structure on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls stands 764 feet above the water and has an observation deck with great views. Book an entry ticket for daytime, nighttime, or both, if you'd like to see the falls under the sun and when they are colorfully illuminated with LED technology after dusk. You might also make a reservation at the revolving restaurant, located above the observation decks." - Travel + Leisure Editors

We went to the buffet dinner for $55/person. Expensive but beautiful view, food not so good. The rolls were rock hard, the steak/beef was dry and chewy, the chicken had a strange texture. The desserts were basic and slightly bland. The food was very disappointing especially for the cost. We couldn’t get out fast enough. I think we ate about $5 worth of food. None of us finished our plates. I didn’t want to complain because the help was very nice and sweet and I know they didn’t cook it. I would never go to the buffet ever again there but would try the other restaurant instead. The view on the observation deck was amazing! Really fun for the whole family.

Google
It’s a neat view. Elevator operators are friendly. Didn’t try their dinner service. Good view of the falls but I think they look better from the Niagara Falls Trail. Fireworks from there were cool but the air got smokey fast and it got hard to see the falls. The arcade at the bottom is where dreams come to die. They could really capitalize on the space and really make it a value add to visit the tower but they don’t. Heck if the arcade worked it could even be a neat trip back in time but nearly everything was broken and turned off. It didn’t sound or feel like an arcade. It was honestly one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen in my life.

Skylon Tower offers an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their efficiency and attentiveness—friendly, professional, and always one step ahead to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was outstanding: generous portions, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish exceeded expectations. Dining in the rotating restaurant was a unique and mesmerizing experience. The 360-degree panoramic views of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area were simply stunning. If you’re visiting Niagara Falls, Canada, Skylon Tower is a must. Highly recommended for anyone looking to combine exceptional service, fantastic food, and a view that truly takes your breath away.

Google
Had the buffet dinner. It was such yummy food! I highly rate it. It was $50pp (plus taxes and tip!). Parking onsite was $15 for all day. We had a 90min sitting time which was long enough. The food was highly quality and our waiter, John was really friendly. My only comment was there were no labels on the desserts and no dessert option for gluten free (other then fruit). Labels on the buffet could be helpful too with food allergies. We weren't allowed to the observation deck until after dinner. It was really great to walk around it for half hour or so. The restrooms on the observation deck were really dirty and gross but the ones on the restaurant level were clean.

Google
What a fun experience! If you want to go, I highly recommend making lunch or dinner reservations as they include the price of the observation deck. Lunch was fantastic, we really enjoyed the tortellini and our son enjoyed the chicken tenders- portions were larger than we expected. The view as your slowly rotate is spectacular. After you're done eating you can go out on the observation deck for even more stunning views. Highly recommend!

Google
Skyline Tower in Niagara Falls, Ontario, is one of those attractions that offers a quiet, majestic way to take in the beauty of the falls from above. My visit to the tower was a peaceful yet awe-inspiring experience—especially if you're looking to see the entire Niagara region from a unique vantage point without the crowds. The ride up in the glass-enclosed elevator is quick, and the view gets more spectacular with every second. Once you're at the top, the indoor and outdoor observation decks give you sweeping, panoramic views of Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and the Niagara River stretching into the horizon. On a clear day, you can even spot the Toronto skyline in the distance! I especially loved the slower pace at the top—it gives you time to really take in the falls from a different angle. If you're into photography, this is the place to capture wide shots that show the full scale and drama of Niagara. There’s also a revolving dining room if you want to enjoy a meal with an ever-changing view, which adds a romantic touch. Whether it’s your first time or a return visit, Skyline Tower adds a calm, elegant layer to the excitement of Niagara Falls.

Google
Look - the service and food isn't up to par of most fine dining places. But man... That view is why you're there anyways. And it doesn't disappoint. Beautiful view, good food (not amazing like fine dining normally is), and decent service. It is pricey though!! Will be an experience we will always remember though.

Google
One of the best places to view the Falls and the Niagara Falls area. Best come with a camera as you can get striking photos of the landscape. At least when I came, it was quite windy but I'm not sure if it's a weather thing, an altitude thing, or a mix of both. Nevertheless, it's a must-see location if you are traveling over to the Canadian side of the Falls.

Yelp
Very good food. Pricey, but you're getting very good food AND the ride up with access to the observation tower. My wife and both of my parents LOVED this. I thought it was very good, but I'm a bit of a cheapskate. The views, though, are undeniable. The food was really good, and we walked it off a bit on the observation deck after (which was fantastic). Our servers were attentive; one was very friendly, the other was just fine. I probably wouldn't do it again, but I'm glad I did it the once.

Yelp
The food reminded me of cruise food. We had prime rib and the salmon three course meal. The dessert was so blah.. it was some Oreo mousse. Only the bread and butter was tasty. The worst part was we were seated away from the windows and were not notified that we could've waited for a window seat instead. The bathrooms were so disgusting. There was toilet paper everywhere in the women's bathroom and then in the boys bathroom, they were all plugged up.

Yelp
We made reservations for the buffet. Paid parking on site $20 + 39.99 per person buffet. Salad bar area , roasted veggies, spicy noodle, a choice of meats chicken , beef, a fish does with some grab and go cups- the food was just ok, meat a little dry. You dont come here for the food, it's an experience of the view . The view is amazing and cool to watch everything down there

Yelp
I reserved my ticket online for the Ride-to the-Top observation deck experience while I was eating breakfast nearby. I visited the top of the tower on a very windy and rainy morning so that made for an adventure of its own. Needless to say, not that many people were out with me braving the winds and rain. The tower is a must do while in Niagara Falls for the 360° views. To see the area from this vantage point is a great way to appreciate the surrounding area. There is a Starbucks and souvenir shop at the base in case you need either.

Yelp
Flat out, you're paying for the ambiance. The views and service are excellent. The food itself needs improvement. I ordered the steak and asked for it to be cooked, medium. It was not medium and a bit tough to cut. My gf had the same and hers was also not cooked properly. The sides they offer are bland and flavorless with zero effort in the presentation. We both had the broccoli, which was literally just rinsed off in water, heated and put onto your plate. Same thing with the potatoes. No flavor, no seasoning. Just plain. The saving grace was their renown cheesecake which was delicious and would recommend. All in all it's a good location to take a date or have a special occasion but at the prices I expected a little more from the food. Side note: They take pictures of you before entering restaurant that are for purchase on the way out. Be very careful to what they offer and what they charge you. They try to upsell you on things like a frame or digital copy that they say are included until it's time to pay. Very tourist trap, scammy feeling.

Yelp
Very nice!!! We got to see everything and had food and drinks. Would love to come back next year.

Yelp
Food was very good, affordable with the exchange and quality. Wait staff fabulous too. Ambiance and views were out of this world - sunset and full moon. 20/10 Did not like the touristy nickel and diming- refills on diet soda $5 lol, $30 for a printed picture they already printed out lollll (bro I'm a millennial we just want an ig story portrait mode).

Yelp
TLDR: Great for the experience, food is mediocre. We made reservations and checked in downstairs before heading towards the elevator, where they offer to take your photo before you head up. Photo is available for purchase downstairs. Elevator attendant was friendly. When we arrived, we were greeted by multiple hosts/servers. We were a group of 6 + 1 baby. A changing station is available but on a different floor so you will have to take the elevator up. They were very accommodating and gave us a large space by the window. The rotating restaurant takes about an hour or so to make a full lap. You get a nice view of the falls and surrounding area. After dinner, you can head up to the observation deck. We went for the Early Dinner Menu ($55) which comes with a salad, main, and a dessert. Of the 5 choices for the main course, two were unavailable. The bread service came first but it was pretty bad. It was cold, hard, and chewy while I was expecting warm, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. However, the salad and main were decent so I'd give that a pass. The dessert (Chocolate Mousse Chantilly) was good but very sweet. I couldn't finish it. Overall, I wouldn't come back just for the food but it's a nice place to take family/friends who are visiting and it's worth it if you can make it for the Early Dinner Menu (4:30 PM & 5 PM I believe).

Yelp
At a height of more than 235 meters above the falls, the Skylon Tower offers a spectacular bird's eye view of Niagara Falls, the Niagara Escarpment, and the city. The most iconic landmark in Niagara Falls is Skylon Tower, overlooking both the American and Canadian falls, the panoramic view from the top of Skylon Tower is truly breathtaking. Yes, you will have many points in the city, offer a splendid view but what about view from an elevated position- you can't beat it. Skylon Tower turned out to be one of my favorite experiences in Niagara Falls. At the time of our trip, simply taking the elevator to the top was CAD 19 per person. We did not opt for dining experience. Elevator # 3 (often called 'bug') mounted outside, takes 52 seconds to get to the top. On a clear day, you can see the skylines of Buffalo and Toronto. The tower features an indoor/outdoor observation area and two restaurants. There are some food and shopping options on the first floor. Also, on the basement level, there are some video games and more snack options. Fact: Skylon Tower was designed by the Toronto architectural firm Bregman and Hamann, which was inspired by the Space Needle in Seattle that was constructed for the World's Fair in 1962.

Yelp
I'm not gonna lie when we first went in the line was scary long. However they did a great job moving people through. The observation deck was great. The views were beautiful. It wasn't as crowded as it looked. Overall it was a great time

Yelp
The main reason we went to dinner at Skylon was for the 360 degree view, and it was spectacular. We made our reservation so we could see the sunset and lighting of the falls. The view alone deserves 5+ stars. Same goes for the wait staff; they were friendly and attentive. Our dinners were okay (3 stars). My wife and I each ordered the filet mignon. These meals were fine but lacked the flavor and quality of other $70 steaks dishes I've had. Our kids also rated their spaghetti & meatballs as 3 stars. Although our wine, cocktails, and 3-star meals made for an expensive dinner, we were happy because we were captivated by the view.

Yelp
Love their lamb & fish... also their calamari. Wish that their bread is warm. Servers are very nice, ambiance is so nice with a very beautiful view. Food is not that pricey. Expect your photos to be taken before going up the tower & while dining

Yelp
I went with my dad on a weekday in the late fall, and while we did have reservations, I don't think we needed them at that time. The downstairs arcade area looks so worn down and borderline spooky/haunted from 1987, which gave me the feeling of ick. There were no stores open, which made me feel like back it's heyday, it was probably the spot. Don't let the downstairs area fool you though. The restaurant was everything and then some! The service was great from everyone from the elevator guy to our servers. My food was really good. The only thing I didn't like was that the bread wasn't hot when it came out- it would've been delicious if it was hot & fresh. The other qualm was there were lots of flies in the windows while we rotated around. They should do something to get rid of them, as there were like 2 on each window area, but they didn't bother us or our food. It was also a little warm. I would definitely return again. I really enjoyed it and the experience was phenomenal. And the top of the tower is included with the expensive meal. I would say it was worth it!

Yelp
This place gets 3 stars only for the uniqueness of the location and the view . Everything else was not good here . We went here for dinner at 5 pm.everything here is overpriced as you would imagine. I don't mind paying top dollar for good quality but nothing here is even close to good quality. I ordered the raspberry martini but unfortunately it tasted like cough syrup. I couldn't drink it and when I wanted to order a wine instead , the server gave me attitude and rolled her eyes. You could tell they were super uninterested in you and just wanted you to eat and get the hell out. I did not feel welcomed here at all. As far as the food , nothing amazing . We selected the early dinner 3 course menu , $55 each. I had the chicken cordon blue. It was ok. Salad was basic and the dessert was inedible. I don't think I will ever go back here. But it's worth visiting it once in your lifetime.

Yelp
I went to the buffet, and for a buffet I would rate it kind of low, but the view is what you're here for, and it is quite a view of the Falls. Even in the evening, the falls are lit up at night and the fireworks view is a very unique experience. The price is considering the view, but it also includes the buffet, which is pretty small. There is some salad, some cold cuts, some pasta dishes, a carving station, a dessert area, and that's pretty much it. Space is at a premium, and more seating is prioritized over food. Coffee was included but not soda which they accept American cash for, which seemed a little odd. For as small as our table was, they were not always that quick to clear the table and it was hard not to bump into the people behind us. For an experience, it's cool to do once, as you can also check out the 360 view outside. I wouldn't come back just for the food, but for a thing to do once, it was fun and unique.

Yelp
Mixed feelings over this one and I only did the observation deck and the souvenir shopping. It was part of the Over The Falls Tour and was something my mother said to skip having been here. The experience of the CN Tower observation deck is way better but at least they say what you are looking at which direction. It feels open with a fence over some of the views which intimidated my wife a lot and she could barely balance. Supposedly the restaurant is a buffet and definitely we could not do that. There is a small souvenir shop upstairs and downstairs and we honestly spent time around them and shopped a bit so my wife wasn't as scared of the open heights. I did enjoy seeing the mist from above but being more eye level with the falls is a better experience.

Yelp
We came here just for the view and a drink (or two). We went to the bar and were served by Kayla. We had a few different scotch and one of the best French Soups of all time! The view from here is definitely one of the best in town and we got a very friendly services so what's not to like?

Yelp
Having been to Niagara Falls for years, we finally decided to try out the Skylon Tower. We made a reservation online for lunch in the revolving 360 dining room. When we arrived, we checked in at the ticket booth and were instructed to line up for the elevators. This was a long wait, on a Saturday for a long weekend. While waiting in line they took our photo which we were given a card if we wanted to check them later for purchasing. When we finally got to the elevator, the ride up allows you to see the falls. A short ride as the elevator has two stops (one for the restaurant and then the observation deck). Since we were dining in, we got complementary access to the observation deck after our lunch. We got our table and were seated immediately - surprisingly the restaurant was not packed. However, there was still a 90 minute seating limit we had to adhere to. We ordered the filet mignon, striploin and seafood medley. The sauce with the filet mignon was delicious! It was the best part of the dish and paired well with the roasted potatoes and broccoli. I also tried a non-alcoholic peach Bellini, which I found way too sweet and syrupy. I think the food we got tasted reasonable but definitely pricey which is what you would expect for a tourist attraction. Service was efficient as well but I feel like we were getting rushed to finish our meal despite that it wasn't very busy. We got our bill while we were enjoying our cappuccino still. The restaurant slowly turns 360 degrees so you can take photos of the falls, Clifton Hill, etc. Anyway, the view at the observation deck was good during a hot sunny day. We got to enjoy the view of the falls in the shade. I still think the best view is on the street since you can get closer and feel the mist. Would recommend trying the experience at least once but it is not a must-do in Niagara.

Yelp
We came here to see the fire work show. We arrived around 9 and explored to top. Once we looked around we got our spot to see them. It was a great view. I would definitely come here to see them. It's also a nice view of the whole city. The city is lit. The view is beautiful on all ends and it's fun riding the fast elevator so high! All we did was watch the show and see the light show, but it's totally worth the money for seeing it from that angle. There are so many people on the ground and so much traffic so this was a nice place to relax.

Yelp
Came here friends before the concert stars. We took the early dinner $49. Variety of good food. Staff very friendly. Found a parking all the way to the end for $15. Observatory deck is free when you dine in.

Bob W.

Yelp
Booked for dinner with relatives over from the UK. Views were great but overall the whole experience felt very touristy - food was expensive andw poor - one of us ordered the tomahawk pork chop, which was very overcooked and very dry. Both waitresses just went through the motions - at times we seemed like an afterthought. Without doubt the low point of our trip. Skip dining and just go to the observation deck to enjoy the amazing views.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible experience! Everything was 10/10. We had a reservation at 7 on a Saturday and got to see the sunset! The food was great, drinks were great and the dessert was fabulous! The staff was also very accommodating and helpful.

Yelp
I thought this was an overpriced tourist attraction at about $14 each. We spent about 15 minutes up there. Views were good, but I feel like we saw that same view so many times: from the hotel, the Sky wheel, etc. I much preferred the view at the base of the falls. The observation tower was crowded, despite it being early, and it was difficult to get pictures with all the people. Also, the cage prevented good photos. They crammed people on the elevator, so it was also difficult to enjoy the view during the quick ride. Try to get on last if you can so you'll be next to the door for the best view. They try to sell you photos when you come down for ridiculous prices. We also found that generic items in the gift shop (maple cookies, syrup, Etc) were cheaper for identical items elsewhere.
google avatar

Jim L.

Yelp
The three stars are for the view. The food was so so at best. For the money they charge so so isn't good enough. I had a chicken Caesar. The bacon bits were like hard blobs of baco bits. They were disgusting. The chicken was dry with little flavor. My wife had marinated salmon. It was the texture of jerky. There were 7 people at our table. No one had food they would go back for. Again the view in this revolving restaurant was the reason it got three stars. But there are options with the same view and actual good food.

Yelp
The Skylon Tower was great! The service was professional and welcoming. The rotating dining room was great you get a 360 view of Niagara Falls, Canada. The Prime Rib was cooked to perfection and the portions of food were huge! The fried snails with garlic were great! The arcade was a nice touch to the experience. Overall this a bang for your buck!

Yelp
I highly recommend making a dinner reservation at the Skylon tower when visiting Niagara Falls. The spinning restaurant rotates 360 every hour to give guests a panoramic view of the US and Canadian Niagara Falls and view of the city's skyline. Window seating is not guaranteed, however, the booth seating is slightly elevated so that you can view beyond those seated by the windows. What you arrive, you will need to check in at the ticket booth to confirm your reservation prior to heading over to the elevator area. You want to take the elevator that provides a view of the falls. Not sure which one, ask the elevator operator. It's a really quick ride up so have your camera ready. The reservation gives everyone in your party a free ride up the Skylon Tower. After your meal, you can take the elevator or stairs up two flights to the viewing deck. The deck is safe for children as it is fenced in. Also, you can hang around in the gift shop area if it is too chilly. There will be two keepsake photo opportunities. One on the lower level when you arrive and one while you dine in the restaurant and by the photography crew. I must say that the breathtaking view was worth every penny and the service was phenomenal. I wish I could say the same about the food and drinks. My tip for you is to check when the sun sets and book a reservation about 1-1.5 hour prior to sunset. This way, you get to view the sun setting as well as a night view of the falls. See my pictures!

Yelp
So I visited Canada with my parents and son for spring break. I HAD to come this restaurant for the experience; a revolving restaurant around Niagara Falls, count me in! So the ambiance and service were A1, now the food.... Mine: the seafood pasta was definitely a 9/10, plenary of seafood and flavor was good My son (6): 7/10, they had lettuce and tomato on his burger when we said only cheese and ketchup. Also it was $3 for cheese My dad: the salmon 8/10 it was decent, and came with rice and broccoli My mom: the sea bass, 6/10 she asked for potatoes instead of rice but they still gave rice. They quickly brought potatoes but she doesn't eat rice so it was still an inconvenience The price was definitely pricing! Each adult entree was approximately $50 + $10 for parking + the tax & fees + no refills on Diet Coke and apple juice .....it definitely adds up. If you're on vacation and have a little ( a lot to spare) I definitely say you have to atleast try it. After dinner we went to the observation deck which was 10/10 for the views. Last but definitely not least, the elevator operator was so animated and made the "scary" ride up and down more enjoyable! He was great and took my sons mind off the fact that the elevator was outside. So thank you!

Yelp
Save your money on mediocre food and just pay to visit the observation deck. We had a reservation for the Revolving Dining Room and were seated within ten minutes of our reservation. It is very cramped dining with just ok views. So many lights reflect on the glass and it mars the scene. We ordered several appetizers with our meal and nothing was outstanding. Most was just barely edible. I expected more from such an attraction but I was greatly disappointed. Service was just ok but the poor guys just looked beat down and they forgot one of our items. All that to say, skip this place.

Yelp
SO MANY BETTER OPTIONS THAN THIS... This is a warning, if you are not willing to spend more than $52/per person for your meal, they will charge you that. It does not matter if you share or not, as they discourage this, even if their portion size is large (16 oz. prime rib). To start at the beginning...we decided we had enough walking for the day (15,000 steps by 5pm), and wanted to drive and park then off to another event. The Skylon Tower will NOT validate, so on top of your very expensive meal, be prepared for $10-15 more for parking. Once you are parked, you have to walk through an 80s style arcade (built in early 80s and never updated) to wait in line for the elevator. The place is really showing its age. This is due to pictures being taken. We had many pictures taken from all events from the day and when we politely asked to by-pass the attendant said we had to wait in line with everyone else until our turn came up. Pictures were $40+ for one, just so you know. The elevator ride up is beautiful and quick. The operators can be funny. We were seated immediately. The view was breathtaking. You can get the view from the observation deck without spending the huge amount on dinner. Our two waiters seemed to be attentive, getting our drinks and an appetizer right away. I noticed in the station they were serving from some cheese setting out without any chill on it - they would pull from there for dishes. We ordered two salads, one for the kids to share, and one for the adults to share. While one wait staff took that order to the computer, the other started to take our entree order. We were notified when we ordered two $70 prime rib dishes (plus salads, cocktails, and an appetizer) that we would be charged an additional $52 for the sharing of the dishes. Even though we made our case we never will eat 32oz (2 lbs!) of prime rib between us, it did not matter. He said he would give us time to think about what we want to do. I wanted to leave - but it would be a $208 minimum charge at that point. So, we stayed and ordered the prime rib for two of us and the mediterranean chicken for the other two. We cancelled the order for our salads. At this point, our evening was pretty much destroyed - kids were upset, they didn't want to waste the food (the money wasn't the issue) as no one in our family eats that much (I know many of you are not the same - please respect we do not have to stuff ourselves to feel satisfied). The food came - it was very good. Chicken was outstanding. Prime rib was excellent. It is too bad our wait staff neglected us due to the discussion earlier. We had to collect our own appetizer plates to make enough room for the entrees. We did order desert as well, however we were disappointed as the Amaretto Torte was dry and looked like the whipped cream on top had been removed then replaced, with some residue left over. We had spent $348 between the four of us because we had to have a quota of $52/per person. Had we been able to divide the total tab between four stations as originally planned, we would have spent $212, which would have come to the quota. Add in the parking. Ugh. What a money grab. There are many places that serve just as good meals, such as Scratch Kitchen at Old Stone Mill, Corso Italian in the Hilton, etc. Spend your money there, not at this run down excuse for fine dining - the "fine" part is a real stretch. The observation tower without the meal would be a lot better value. I hope this review helps you to know about the $52/per person minimum. We were surprised.

Yelp
We reserved dinner here during our stay at the Falls. The views are beautiful and you get to see the falls in their entirety along with everything else surrounding it. The staff were very kind and helpful with picking options. I do wish there were more vegetarian options though as there wasn't much to choose from, but we decided on the vegetable medley and zucchini spirals, along with salmon for non veg. We ended the meal with the creme brûlée which was absolutely delicious. It's also nice that the observation deck is included with dinner reservation.

Yelp
I took my family to Skylon Tower for the lunch buffet and while I'm glad we did it, I can't say it was necessarily worth the money. Two adults and two kids put me back over $200 including drinks, tax, and tip. While I expect it to be expensive, I feel the food was a big let down. The view was fantastic, as expected. You get a fantastic view of the falls while you eat and it was incredibly selfie-worthy. The service was also incredible. Extremely professional, friendly, and great with kids. It felt very upscale for a casual lunch buffet. The food at the buffet definitely could have been better. The selection was a bit strange but I'll list off most of what I ate. Chow mien noodles- bland and spicy. Could have used any flavor other than the hot peppers, which were in the noodles. Basa fish- this was good other than being a bit dry. Tough to keep fish moist in a buffet though. Mini potatoes- very flavorful and really good! Bow tie pasta- dry and barely had any tomato sauce. Whatever sauce I could make out was bland or just non existent. Chicken legs - dry Mediterranean calamari- calamari was very tough and chewy. Also needed lots of salt. Pretty inedible. Beef- they sliced beef at the buffet, which was pretty cool. Unfortunately, it was super dry and not good at all. Even the jus they offer couldn't save it. Meatballs in bell pepper sauce- this was actually my favorite! Meatballs were flavorful and the pepper sauce was creamy and delicious! Chicken fingers and fries- these were fine. Desserts- they had an array of cakes, cookies, and tarts. All pretty decent for buffet standards. Tarts had premade tart crusts but fillings were good. Cakes were fluffy and moist. Overall, while I didn't enjoy my lunch, I did enjoy the experience. Seeing other reviews makes me think I should have tried the revolving restaurant for dinner.

Yelp
Just don't. I went here because it was included with a package I had but it is NOT worth your time. There are SO MANY amazing views of the falls that don't require you to pay and what you get at skylon is NOT worth any time or money. This place exists solely to get your money from silly pictures and okay food. You can get okay food anywhere! The drink prices are laughably high. And the fireworks views? EVERYONE will have their phone out and be blocking you anyway. Just go somewhere else!

Yelp
The views of Niagara Falls were spectacular, which is definitely what you're paying for. Meal prices were high for the quality of the food. It's nice to be able to enjoy the rotating view of the falls, but it would have been preferred if the flavor and quality of the meal matched the price. I ordered a salad with salmon, and the salmon was incredibly dry. The service was fine, and it's fairly easy to get to the restaurant. Be sure to check in with the front desk in the main entrance to get a ticket for the elevator even if you've already reserved your table online.

Yelp
We had a 9 pm dining service. You have to get an entree each this late at night still. I got the salmon and my partner got the strip steak. Overall it was a really nice dinner and the service was top notch. I wish there were more elevators because it felt like we stood there for a while.

Yelp
View, View, View. You come here for that more than the food. However the food does not disappoint as well. So it's a good deal to have a lunch here at the Skylon tower next time you are visiting the Falls. Was treated to a Father's Day lunch here. Along with the Seafood Symphony( delicious!) washing it down with some Pinot Grigio, we also had the vegetable medley ( very nice) and the tortellini ( was ok). But back to the view. You get to have three nice and slow look at the falls with a bird's eye view sitting leisurely away from the crowd and taking in the Panoramic vista. The service was excellent and courteous and efficient. Altogether a 5 star!

Yelp
We didn't eat here because the prices were insane and the reviews were mixed, but we did take an elevator to the observation deck. It was definitely neat to see everything from so high up. We went during the annual festival of lights, so we could see extra sparkling lights. It's definitely a unique thing to do if you've never done it before, but we weren't even up there for 20 minutes, which makes it a little pricey for what it really is.

Yelp
We chose to not eat at the restaurant as there was a $49 min per person appetizers not included. We had already experienced eating on the Space Needle so we didn't feel we were missing out. The views at the top are spectacular. There is indoor and outdoor observation decks. Tickets online are $18.00 for 13 and up. Children 4-12 $9 and under 4 are free. Skylon Tower Fun Facts  1. The Revolving Dining Room rotates 360 degrees in one hour  2. You can see the Canadian Horseshoe Falls, The American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls all from our restaurants and observation deck.   3. Visibility from the Observatory on a clear day is up to 80 miles (125 km).  4. Height of the Tower above Niagara Falls gorge is 775 ft.  5. The actual height of the Skylon Tower from the base is 520 feet.

Yelp
Service wasn't that great. Food wasn't seasoned. So the only draw here is the fact that you can see the entire city as the floor slowly moves you around. I wouldn't come back. Checked it off the list for my mom's birthday.

Yelp
Staff was very nice and very patient. The view is obviously incredible. Food was just not that good.

Yelp
Drinks and dessert--Our dinner reservations included the ride up and access to the observation deck. You have to take a photo or you can pass before you go up elevator They seated us within our time frame and were very nice. The seating is snug in the space they have and they had an assistant come by to take our drink order which is his job to help pass the time as our waitress was busy. The menu is alacart. Timing of our food order was a bit slow so be prepared to hail down the waitress to pay the bill. The prime rib didn't come with au jus so maybe ask for that if you prefer, it comes with horseradish dip. But the dessert was wonderful. I would have only gotten drinks and dessert looking back. There is someone taking your photo then she comes back around and shows the photo to ask you to buy it. I would say be prepared for a bit of a cruise ship feel with the photo marketing.

Yelp
Food & service were wonderful. Ambiance nice but a little dated, and of course the view was amazing. Very pricey, but we thought it was worth a splurge for a vacation night out.

Yelp
I had the opportunity to travel to beautiful Canada and my last stop was seeing the infamous Niagara Falls. Recommended as a must stop, I went up the Skylon Tower and opted in for the dining option on the top revolving-floor. Sad to say I experienced bad-practice racism from the wait staff. If I'm paying good money for my food, I'd like to be greeted and treated politely if not warmly. The waiter from the get go was ridden with a scowling expression on his face demanding me and my party to go sit where they already placed the "water" - not even a hello. When I asked if there was a possibility to sit elsewhere, and kindly offered I can move my water myself, the waiter rolls their eyes and says "yeah, guess so" so bugged out as if I was Rumpelstiltskin asking for their first born! To be a major spot for a lot of tourists from all different nationalities, I empathize that tending to large groups from different cultures can be a challenge and not a walk in the park. As someone who worked in food service in a past phase in my life I understand some customers are hard to deal with. However, one thing you shouldn't do as a hospitality staff is collectively round up ALL POCs and treat your patrons standoffish, with your nose pointed high up higher than the Skylon tower itself, harboring microaggressive racism. Mind you, these international POC tourists are the ones spending the most money to eat at this establishment where you are employed. We're all just eager to be here to soak in views, and have a good time by treating ourself to a $100+ per person dinner while on vacation. It wasn't just the one waiter either, clearly they didn't like how I matched their energy and didn't suck it up like how they expected I would. The waiter proceeds to go whisper-shout to their coworkers about our table and every one of them pass by purposefully with dirty looks. And here I thought Canadians were supposed to be uber nice! Had a beautiful trip throughout Montreal-Ottawa-Toronto, but leaving with a very sour taste in my mouth at the end here in Niagara Falls. Yeah, yeah, it's touristy trap spot what did I expect. Nothing but wanting to be treated fairly and with kind decency where I'm willing to spend my hard earned money at? Guess that's too much to ask.

Yelp
Great view of Niagara Falls - food was decent. Nothing spectacular but decent. Our meal was part of a Niagara tour we planned. They had our table ready when we arrived and we got to select our main entree. It came with a salad and dessert as well. Staff were friendly but you can tell that they just wanted to get you in and out.

Yelp
Great 360° Views from the Observation Deck [Niagara Falls, ON Canada] We bought tickets for the ride up to the top to the observation deck. Before ascending the elevator there's an opportunity for picture taking where you can purchase your souvenir photos before leaving the tower on the ground floor. We enjoyed sunset views on the top and also the Niagara Falls nightly illumination. They try to match the colors with the event (example: Pride, Canada Day, July 4th etc). We were there on June 12 and Niagara Falls lit up with the vibrant colors of the Philippine flag (red, blue, white and yellow) to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Philippine Independence. We didn't stay for the fireworks because we weren't sure if there would be bus service after 10:00p. We returned to Skylon Tower the next day taking the WeGo bus transportation again. The Revolving Restaurant was completely booked so we went to the (AYCE) Summit Suite Buffet. While the Revolving Restaurant rotates 360-degrees every hour, the buffet is a stationary view of the Canadian Horseshoe and American Falls. All around still very pretty views. The buffet had limited selection though. Review #3052

Yelp
What is a Ripe off at Skylon Tower Photo plus 2024-12-26, Boxing day Our family of 8 people went to visit Skylon Tower. Since it was a big family gathering, we decided to take pictures with the beautiful falls. So with the help of the staff, we took few pics, and finally we picked 7 to print out ! Below is the price chart, I read few times before we started. I also asked questions " 5 pictures for 50 dollars , right ? " and got the answer " Yes" However, when we checked out, the price was $135 with tax. The reason is : you have 4 packages instead of 1. I told the staff : it is a family, no separate bill ! Why we were being treated as 4 ! Answer is : policy of the company. Below is their calculation: After argument, the supervisor ( she claimed herself as supervisor ) decided to drop off to $ 90 dollars plus tax. She even said : if you can not afford it, pls do not take it. What an insult! I told her : 1) it is not a question of affordability . it is a question of Being affair. 2) I live in a multi-million house in Fohthill, how do you think ? Finally, the end story is : we paid for 2 packages, 35+25 ( with 10 $ discount) plus tax. What do I need ? an apology from the supervisor + plus the extra paid money back $16.95. Monica Yang

Yelp
The views from the observatory deck from the Skylon tower overlooking Niagara Falls are absolutely breathtaking and well worth the visit, even if the chilly weather could be considered a trade off. The price was reasonable for such an iconic experience, but there were a few hiccups with the elevator situation. Out of the three elevators, only two were in service: one for going up and one for going down. While the line to go up was quick and efficient, the wait to come down was a bit frustrating. The line stretched nearly a quarter of the top floor, which meant we had to linger a while longer than expected. There were also only two working restrooms in the lower floor which in order to get to you'd have to go through what looked like a run down arcade place which seemed alittle confusing. That said, the stunning views of the falls made all the wait more bearable, and it's hard to beat that kind of scenery. Definitely a must-visit if you're in Niagara, just be prepared for a bit of a wait on busy days.
