SKYSKRAPEREN RESTAURANT

This was truly a five star experience in every way possible. The food was delicious and imaginative (the best meal I had in Norway honestly- way better than some of the other ‘fine dining’ establishments I visited). The service was IMPECCABLE. I have really never experienced such authentic, warm, funny, peaceful, attentive service anywhere else. You lounge and eat at your own pace, calmly enjoying and being treated like a regent of sorts. The atmosphere… the view… the experience. I really don’t have any words for the views. Daytime was stunning and magical but the sunset was on another level. (PS they smoke their own meats on the top of the mountain too!) If you do nothing else in Bergen, in Norway, do this.

Had the best time here with delicious food and the best view in Bergen. We spent all morning till evening sipping wine and eating the flakiest fried fish and crispy chips. The service is warm and excellent. We had the happiest time here soaking in the sun and enjoying the views. Definitely worth a visit!

Spicy burger was sadly not spicy at all, but the sausage flavor was outstanding (if you could get past the salad and shredded cheese that inundated it). Prices are a bit high for the typical lunch menu-type items but ordering and paying via QR code made service incredibly quick and easy. Just be advised that even though there are pet watering stations outside the restaurant, dogs are NOT allowed inside but can sit out on the patio. But everyone is there for the amazing views- just bring a jacket if you plan to stay/eat later in the afternoon or evening as the wind can be chilly, even in late August.

Ordered pancake with jam and sour cream and a hot chocolate. The food was good, but the best part about the place was the view of course. It has the views of the fjords, mountains, water and everything that’s nature, just so freaking beautiful. It was very cold outside in summers, lol, surprised? Welcome to Europe! But yeah, this restaurant had good hot chocolate and some desserts to complement the cold weather with the best views!

We had an excellent 5 course dinner. The service was absolutely fantastic and the food was well done and beautifully plated. I do think the food was really good but I wasn’t falling off my seat. That being said, there were some really great moments and we felt the experience was worth it for the food, views, and ambiance. Very very special.

Good atmosphere with very nice interior, view (when not foggy) and background music. Relaxing and easy to talk with eachother. Very good food and very Nice Staff. A bit expensive, but Worth it.

Nice place but I'm not sure I'd make the trip up just for the food. A bowl of soup was $36 CDN which is very expensive even for a fine dining restaurant. Washrooms are in the lower level but they did have a lift.
