Lovely atmosphere, good service, very polite staff but personally I believe food was mediocre, not much taste and spices. Soup was only broth and onion. Main course was french-size portion. Desserts tasted very artificial, with a lot of food colors. Somewhat expensive for what you get.

The coffee was good, the food was just OK. The fish soup was very bland. The mussels were much tastier. There's not a lot of competition up on top of the mountain so I can't complain too much. It was a good place to spend some time while a storm passed. When the weather is clear, the views from the windows are very good.

The only negative here is the price. It's quite the premium cost for anything here, 6 euros for a coke, 5 for a bolle, 7 for a latte.... It's quite something. However the quality is first class so I guess you get what you pay for. Make sure you go on a sunny day or the view is wasted :p

I’ve hiked for three hours. Here is a great refreshing point after a nice hike! I had the fish soup, it tastes amazing! Very recommended!

It was pouring rain when we reached the top of Ulriken - impossible to stand outside and take pictures of Bergen below even with rain gear! Thank goodness we had a lunch reservation booked together with the gondola ride up through Fjord Tours. Other people without reservations were told they had to leave the restaurant. We got a beautiful table by the window, where we could enjoy the view without getting wet. The manager provided excellent service - he explained our beer tastings and the delicious local food, and allowed us to stay as long as we wanted. (I especially loved the fish stew and the “deconstructed cheesecake” dessert!) Eventually the rain stopped and we went out for all the photos we wanted. All in all it was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it. I only wish I could remember the manager’s name. He was very busy dealing with the guests and non-guests, but he was so professional and personable, and his English was perfect!!

Beautiful view. Food was delicious. It’s a fixed menu so that can be a challenge for some. Really worth the trip and money or even just go to the cafe for the view.

This was an amazing date night for my partner and I while we were in Bergen. The five course tasting menu was amazing for testing local foods. The kitchen was very accommodating for our nut, shellfish, and dairy allergies. The wine package was also definitely worth it. The staff were so nice. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling.

Staff were friendly, warm and inviting. We had a blast. Stayed 3 hours and never felt rushed. The food was incredible and the cocktails were amazing! Sadly, it was rainy, dark and windy-so no views. But the experience made it worth the trip despite Mother Nature not providing a beautiful view.
