Wow, what an incredible hotel experience in Torrey! Before we even arrived, I coordinated parts of our stay with Joshua via email, who was so wonderful to work with and responsive. Once we got to the hotel, the front desk person walked us around the property - such a lovely touch. There are goodies to buy near the front desk shop, as well as refreshments and snacks. The grounds are immaculate. The rooms were very, very clean! We loved the room "refresh" option since we had a multi-night stay. Also liked the re-fillable water bottles for the fridge! And as everyone says, you can't beat the view and patio. The owners have put so much attention to detail in this place. It is worth every dollar you'll spend there. Everything goes above and beyond. +10/10, no notes. Skyview really has outdone itself!! THANK YOU!

I have never reviewed a hotel before, but I have to make an exception for the Skyview Hotel. I have travelled a lot and seen all kinds of things. The Skyview is simply outstanding in every area. Above all, you can feel the heart and soul that the owners have put into this boutique hotel. The details are particularly unique, such as real plants in the rooms and complimentary snacks. Everything is clean and offers all a guest could wish for. We stayed in the dome as well as in the hotel itself. The rooms are large. The view is fantastic, especially the rooftop terrace, which is a plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and problems are solved quickly. The “Slot Canyon”-decoration is a real highlight and an oasis of calm. The prices are reasonable for what you get, and I can only recommend the Skyview Hotel and look forward to coming back.

Skyview Hotel was conveniently located near Capitol Reef National Park. Loved the atmosphere of the hotel! All the hotel rooms are amazing! There was so much room in the king room, there were snacks and drinks available in the room upon arrival, and wonderful coffee. There is also a fire pit with s’more kits for the evening. Each room had a private patio with a fantastic view of the mountains. Probably my favorite area at the hotel was the stargazing deck. I’ve never seen so many stars! The staff were so courteous and saw to our every need. The only problem I found was that we did not plan to stay an extra night.

Google
Skyview hotel makes for an unforgettable stay and the experience far surpassed my expectations. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds are well designed and enjoyable to navigate, especially at night. We did the glamping experience, and it was worth every penny! The bedding and linens are some of the most comfortable I've come across. Rooms come with complimentary snacks and beverages, and the bathrooms have robes you can use. The views at night are breathtaking, especially when the moon sets. Very cozy experience overall. I'd certainly return many times over!

OMG! We loved this place. I can not say enough good things about it. The staff are so friendly, they walk you to your room after check-in and explain the amenities. Fire pit every night, large star gazing deck with audio you can listen to on your own device. Your own private patio to soak in the beauty of the mountains.....so quiet, so relaxing. The walkway has an artistic touch in that as you walk to your room they have soft music playing and have a display that is meant to reflect the slot canyons in Zion. It was so creative and fun. A+ for that touch! The rooms are spacious and have a wall of windows/sliding doors to enjoy the view while inside. On a scale of 1-10, they are a 20!!! They should not be listed as a 2 star hotel, that is beneath them, they are a 5 star for their attention to detail and for providing a wonderful place to enjoy the surrounding beauty.

Loved this hotel, best for miles and miles. Super friendly staff, awesome room, comfy bed, great amenities that truly make you feel like the hotel truly cares about your experience on their property. Loved all the little things that complimented the modern and amazing property to make this hotel truly worthy of 5 stars. Free smokers kits, star gazing from the roof, fire pit with plenty of seating for guests. We spent several hours around the fire at night visiting with other couples and had a really fun evening visiting with folks from all over our great Country. I loved the water bottles provided in the room, they resemble the Yeti Rambler style bottle and the water was chilled and refreshing after a full day of hiking Capitol Reef NP. My only pet peeve was that the office doesn’t open until 8 AM and the only ice on property is in the office so none for my cooler before heading into the NP early. Easily solved at the nearest gas station. Highly recommend this hotel.

Just visited on a whirlwind trip to visit all 5 national parks in Utah with my 6 and 9 year old. |This place was an absolute standout, it’s become our sleeper pick of a favorite stop. |We stayed in a dome and ended up with one that had the sky view - kids LOVED it. The room was big enough and so comfortable and we enjoyed the mini fridge, complimentary coffee that we made in the French press, and free snacks and drinks left for us. The private bathroom was large and the bathrobes were useful for returning to our room after a shower. |This is a fantastic hotel in a very small but cute town right next to Capitol Reef national park that we Loved! I would love to go back and try a room with a hot tub, but we absolutely loved our dome room and the kids loved making complimentary s’mores by the fire before star gazing and getting a great night sleep.

This hotel is perfect in every way. We stayed here one night after visiting Capitol Reef and loved every moment we had there. Our group had both a normal hotel room with hot tub and a glamping tent. Both were clean, spacious, and very well thought out. Everything at this hotel is thought out including: the comfortable beds, how beautiful everything is, the dim lighting on the rooftop so you can stargaze, the complimentary s'mores kits, the refillable water bottles in the rooms....to name a few. Then there was the service - I interacted with 3 different employees at the front desk and each one was very polite & friendly. I felt truly welcomed and not like I was just another guest like most hotels. Almost all hotels I've stayed at there's usually one or more things I wish they'd done differently, but I can't find anything wrong with this one! I'm more likely to return to the area for Skyview than Capitol Reef. I'm not sure whether they plan on expanding but I would stay in other Skyviews if they do.

Yelp
The modern hotel is designed to provide nice sustainable touches. The room is a nice size, clean, and has awesome coffee set up. Tea not so much. Nice, real, green plants in the room. Great in room microwave and fridge with complimentary water and snacks. The shampoos and lotion, "Lather", are great as they are fragrance free, cruetky free, and seem to work well. The Great Western Trailhead is walking distance. As you can see from the picture, nice view. I recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Yelp
This place is a gem! Total gem. Found it on a whim, loved the pics so a quick road trip and we were there. The hotel is designed so well it almost just blends in. The staff was kind, attentive and full of helpful tips about the area. As far as accessibility for wheelchair users. I found the room pretty accommodating. I could roll under the sink in restroom. The roll in shower and bench was good. Bed height a little high but I was able to get in just fine. It does look like there would be room for a lift if you bring one. The parking lot is gravel and difficult to maneuver alone. They also have a rooftop patio but no ADA access. But friends... the view... the damn view. You have a beautiful patio with doors that open. It's quiet and calm and honestly just what my soul needed.

Yelp
I'm not really a review guy. Because, honestly? Most places are just OK. But the Skyview Hotel? This is legitimately the first time I want to be able to leave a 15 star review. Wait, no. Make it 20 stars. The day after Thanksgiving, 2023, my business partner and I made our way from Denver to Torrey, not realizing we were driving into a crazy, unexpected snowstorm. Stress was high, we may have almost died a couple times. But the amazing folks at Skyview were cheery and welcoming upon our arrival, even though we were very late and very much behind schedule. The property is muted from the exterior, save for a really interesting art installation along the outside walkway. But a reserved external appearance makes way for the big reveal - rooms that are beautiful, intentionally-designed oases of comfort and relaxation, a perfect hideaway from a long day's journey or active vacation adventures. From a cupboard stocked thoughfully with local snacks to comfy beds, great furniture, and amazing views, the Skyview Hotel is a thoroughly unexpected gem. If you're anywhere near Torrey, UT, I wholeheartedly encourage you to stay a night or five at this lovely hotel. Let's reward their excellent effort with business for years and years and years!

Yelp
Instagram-worthy of 5 stars! Luxury bedding, towels, and pump toiletries. Complimentary local treats were such a nice surprise! Spectacular views. Good location. Cute porches. Love the AC unit- it's quiet and easy to control. Sooo clean. Awesome staff. Every detail has been thought of! (I stayed in a room, not a dome) The only request I have is a hot tub!! That would be the icing on the cake!

Yelp
Super friendly and attentive staff. The free coffee was amazing! The accommodations were very comfortable. It was a little cloudy when we stayed so all we could see was the Big Dipper but that was no fault of the hotel. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Clean and modern accommodation - beautiful view and a quiet setting. The cookies and snacks that are provided as treats are a bonus. Would stay here again.

Yelp
This place is great! I come to this area a couple times a year for work and my company got the reservation. I will ask for it in the future. It has only been opened a few months. It's clean! The owner is super nice. I'm assuming she's the owner. One of the cool things is the art piece that creates a hall in front of the doors which is made of ropes and looks like a slot canyon looking down it. They have the option to buy a breakfast box to be delivered to you that a local restaurant puts together. It's $15 and comes with a drink. There are also snacks in the room that are complimentary. The bathroom products smell good. There is a little back patio where the cows come to the fence about 15' away. There is the obvious surrounding areas of beauty too. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This weekend was perfect. Torrey has become a fun little place, but this hotel is different from anything I have ever stayed at. It has the feeling of a high priced resort that does not have the crazy prices. The rooms look like no one has ever stayed there because they are so clean. The view out the back patio is breathtaking, and at night because you are not surrounded by any lights the night sky is just as clear and full of stars, it almost does not look real. This was a fantastic stay.

Yelp
It's like a small Amangiri for $200 a night. We had the best stay on our way across the state from Los Angeles. I was amazed by this beautiful hotel. Best hotel I've stayed at by far in a long time. Wonderful service at the desk and cleanliness and attention to detail was above and beyond!

Yelp
Honestly no matter how many positive things I write about this, it won't do the place justice. My wife and I were driving from Seattle to Dallas and needed a place to stay. We were originally planning to stay in Salt Lake City but we decided to get a little bit further down the road before turning in the for the night. It turns out there aren't a lot of options in eastern Utah (go figure! :p) and this place looked nice and was reasonably priced. It was honestly the best impromptu plan I've ever been part of. You pull up and it's just a simple building with ropes very interestingly hanging from the roof, acting as a sort of thin wall between the outside and the door to the rooms. Once you open the door to the room, though, prepare to be blown away! The view is absolutely incredible and every single detail of the room is well thought out. Comfortable bed and furniture, deck furniture, quality materials and an intriguing and soothing aesthetic. Also, the staff is great and they have pet-friendly rooms. The only complaint I have is that we could only stay there one night. My wife and I are already planning a trip to come back and spend some time here just the two of us! Thank you!

Yelp
What a great place to stay! HIGHLY recommend Skyview Hotel. Nick and Joshua are so delightful and have thought of everything - stunning views, amazing slot canyon decor, tasty local treats, and even a stargazing deck. You'll never want to leave. Don't miss out on this amazing experience!

Yelp
The Skyview hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From the warm welcome by the front desk to the incredible accommodations, I can't say enough good things about this hotel. We stayed in a room with a hot tub and the hot tub took our stay to another level of relaxation. It was the perfect place to relax and stargaze at night. The room was immaculately clean. Complimentary snacks and drinks were provided. The bed was super comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here if you get a chance.

Yelp
A gem amongst the beautiful surroundings. We called to confirm our booking and was warmly greeted by Nick. At the time of arrival Lara was so inviting and helpful in getting us an early check in as the (Gifford homestead was closed for lunch). She and Nick made the check in experience truly seamless. Skyview is a brand new hotel and with so much character.. From the freshly baked cookies, complimentary beverages, high quality toiletries and towels. No detail was overlooked. Capitol Reef is the final destination for our trip and we absolutely loved it. A lot of it was attributed to the wonderful service we received at Skyview. We highly recommend this hotel and have zero feedback for them as everything was already thought of. The view is absolutely breathtaking in all directions. Torrey is such a quaint little town. This is a must visit!

Yelp
My family really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed in a room with a hot tub and we loved looking out at the big red rocks. Cows also came by, grazing (they're fenced in). It was a delight to watch them. The room was clean and we were happy to find local treats there. This was my kids' favorite stay during our Utah National Parks trek!

Yelp
Amazing place! The views are incredible, the roof top is awesome and nothing beats your own personal hot tub under the stars. Highly recommend staying here if your visiting Capitol Reef National Park.

Yelp
Highly recommend! We only stayed for one night, and wished we had more. There was a lot of attention to detail and thought put into the design of this place, from the ropes mimicking a slot canyon as you walk to your room to the art pieces inside. Our room's art piece was inspired by the Temple of the Sun and Temple of the Moon, which looked amazing. We were shown to our room which was such a nice and inviting touch. Everything was so clean and modern and felt very luxurious. We had amazing views from the room thanks to the floor to ceiling glass wall and sliding doors. Complimentary snacks and assorted beverages were also provided. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I would recommend this hotel to everybody. The staff were so nice. The hotel was so clean and nice. Great place to stay if you're looking for a getaway in capital reef area.
