Great place for breakfast, however it is expensive for eggs and bacon. There is also a kitchen fee that I have never encountered before. They have a really fun option if you want a pancake breakfast, you can grill them yourself at your table. The tables have a built in griddle in the middle. Our server Britney was awesome, friendly and attentive. The food was great too.

Google
The place is kind of rundown but they have some tables with griddles in them so you can make your own pancakes so that’s fun. Food was ok. Our server was nice and the drinks were good. A bit overpriced for what you get. I got the slappy moco. Husband got biscuit and gravy. We weren’t impressed.

Slappy Cakes is a large family friendly breakfast/brunch only restaurant. Opens at 7am, closes at 12pm noon. Located just before the Aston Ka'anapali Shores Resort, right off the highway. The first visit, my husband ordered the Slappy Moco, a beef patty, 2 over easy eggs, rice n house made mushroom gravy. I ordered the Brekky hash, a tall formed circle of soft potato chunks, peppers, onions, spinach, n zucchini, topped with 2 poached eggs and micro greens. We also shared the pancakes with generous portion of fresh blueberries and house made lemon curd. I also had the pineapple juice. Second visit, we took advantage of the $10 value off of the pancake batter bottle. There is a non-stick grill in the middle of the table, that you squeeze batter out of the bottle n grill your own pancakes at the table. A fun interactive activity for the family. Numerous choices of pancake add on toppings. The coconut syrup was exceptionally delicious You can also order pancakes the kitchen makes for you We also shared the mushroom egg scramble w/onions, spinach n goat cheese, w/potatoes ,the wheat toast is exceptionally delicious, and a side of Portuguese sausage. We also got a side of sausage gravy, which was perfect on top of the potatoes. They have morning cocktails n mimosas. I got a virgin pineapple, coconut whip drink. Our server Juampi, was friendly, attentive and reminded us to use the $10 off pancake coupon. I highly recommend this place 5 out of 5 stars

It’s a large spot, lots of seating, family oriented. The food was ok, mixed between fancy and expected breakfasts. I think it’s a little over priced compared to many other breakfasts places.

If you're in Maui, a visit to this local favorite breakfast spot is a must. The food was delicious and bursting with flavor, truly showcasing the island’s fresh ingredients. The friendly service made the experience even better. Although there was a long line when I arrived, the host did an excellent job seating everyone efficiently. Prices are reasonable for Maui, and the standout was the refreshing dragonfruit lemonade absolutely fabulous. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to enjoy a hearty breakfast with a charming, rustic Maui vibe.

Google
Slappy Cakes is such a fun and unique breakfast spot—but a quick tip: get here early or be ready for a bit of a wait, especially on weekends. It’s totally worth it though. The big draw? You get to make your own pancakes right at the table, which is a blast whether you're with friends, family, or just feeling creative. Highly recommend trying all the batter flavors—they each bring something different and tasty to the griddle. Don’t skip the specials either; the menu rotates some gems that are well worth exploring. The loco moco is just okay, but honestly, everything else is solid. If you're into avocado toast, theirs is next level—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Overall, Slappy Cakes delivers a memorable and delicious DIY breakfast experience you’ll want to come back for.

Aloha, this is a very good place and very cost effective compared to the resort pricing here. This cinnamon roll pan cakes were amazing as well as the banana nut bread French toast! The cock tails were really good as well

How could you not want to check out a place with a name like this? Don't fret if you're not a fan of self-cooking as you can order pancakes made via the kitchen. ATMOSPHERE: Remember the restaurant A Pacific Cafe? This was their former digs. The place is huge! An immense central bar greets you, with a mix of spacious seating that includes tables with built-in griddles. MENU: Pancakes, eggs, benedicts, cocktails. BEVERAGE: POG Mimosa POG stands for Passion Orange Guava, the infamous blend of juices created by Maui's former Haleakala Dairy, now operating as Meadow Gold. The juices blend nicely with some bubbly to create a tastier concoction than plain old OJ. FOOD: Buttermilk & Chocolate Pancake Batters For the do-it-yourself griddle chefs, you receive an 8 oz. squeeze bottle of batter in which you can create works of art, should you please. The buttermilk batter was surprisingly creamy and flavorful; the chocolate version too chocolatey for me. SERVICE: We walked in without reservations on a Sunday morning around 11am and had a short 5-minute wait. Female server was very professional and checked on us often. OVERALL: Fun concept. Not as pricey as the word-of-mouth news was reporting. Good food and service.

Yelp
Fun for the whole family. Pancakes are great. Batter is large enough for two people. Be careful with the hot grill as it is part of the tabletop.

Yelp
We've been coming here for years and I just realized I never submitted a review. We've been calling this place Slappy Jacks for so long (that's the name our toddlers gave it the first time we visited) that on our most recent visit, I forgot the actual name was Slappy Cakes, hah. This time we opted for two tried and true options, the griddle table for make your own pancakes for the kids (ok adults too, lol) and the Loco Moco. The Loco Moco has a nice smokey flavor to it and sits on a large bed of white rice topped with brown gravy, an egg of your choice, and green onion slivers. I could have used more gravy because it's definitely not swimming in it which is my preference - so if you like gravy, ask for extra or you'll be licking the plate for every drop. Big enough to split if you're also enjoying pancakes, but it'll you're hungry you'll want to eat the entire thing. ;) The kids enjoyed the buttermilk pancake batter and we opted for whipped cream, blueberries and chocolate chips as toppers for this visit. In the past we've tried the chocolate batter and other toppings but the chocolate chips and whipped cream are our go-to favorites. Our family doesn't really use syrup so it doesn't bother us that the "good stuff" is at a premium price like a few others have mentioned. The pancakes are solid and are a fun activity and memory to create with the family. There are some real artists if you check out the photos but we're just amateurs who like to eat good food, lol. Great place all around and always on our list when we're in Maui.

Yelp
Totally over ordered for just me and my toddler, but everything was so good and large portioned. You NEED to get build your own pancakes. Fully customizable. First, pick your batter (you can choose what kind like chocolate, buttermilk, seasonal -- I think they have pandan!) $10, additional toppings $3 or $4. One order of batter can feed 2-3 kids I would say. We got blueberries, chocolate chips, and whipped cream ---waaay too much. Should have just stuck with one or two toppings. Coolest thing is you cook it in the middle of your table yourself!! So you're able to make each pancake as big or small as you want, which is great because my little likes mini pancakes you usually can't find. She had fun throwing (way too many) chocolate chips on each pancake. We also ordered loco moco--good, not too salty. And candied bacon (comes with 4). Oh my lord, sooo delicious. The macadamia nuts are a nice touch. Drip coffee ($5) was surprisingly good. Needless to say, very kid friendly. High chairs and boosters available. They gave us a booth and booster so it'd be easier for my toddler to eat which was thoughtful. They also provided a plastic baby plate and spoon. And water cup with plastic lid and straw. Great service as well.

Yelp
I had never seen a tabletop griddle in the middle of the table concept. While I didn't try it this go-around I may on a future visit. The burrito was good. The banana bread French toast was ok. I honestly didn't know what to expect. It sounded unique. I compare it to grilling a blueberry muffin vs a french toast using banana bread.

Yelp
We were staying at the Westin Kaanapali Ocean Shores and wanted to walk to breakfast. This was a 20-minute stroll along beach and through a parking lot. The restaurant has a modern vibe. We were seated quickly on a Saturday at 8 am. We ordered the Elvis pancakes and the seasonal Benedict, which was carnitas with a lilikoi Hollandaise sauce. The pancakes were nothing special and needed more of the bacon, peanut butter chip and banana topping. The butter provided at the table helped a little. I don't order eggs Benedict often but thought it was very good. I'm a passion fruit fanatic so I appreciated the hint of flavor in the sauce. The micro greens on top were a nice touch too. And you can't go wrong with a side of crispy potatoes, though they were pretty basic and could have used some seasoning. The alcoholic drinks were tempting, but we went with water, which our waiter was great about refilling. Not sure about you, but if I go out it's because I don't want to cook, so the pancake griddle tables weren't for me. I would like to go back with some littles some day because I think it's a cool concept.

Yelp
Was excited to try after reading positive reviews, left with the same satisfaction of a chain breakfast spot. Servings are large and can be split by two people. One fun feature is the option to make your own pancakes, you can select from a variety of pancake batter options and DIY your pancakes using a griddle built into your table, though you can still order them already cooked if you prefer. Friendly service and clean restaurant, decent food/flavor.

Yelp
I can't believe I didn't write a review right away! This place was just perfect for celebrating my birthday breakfast! I could appreciate the parking being free since it's not always, if you can even find parking near the hotels. They made the simply delicious pancakes fun and special in all the best ways! The bloody Mary's were so good my hubby had to come back three days later for his birthday!

Clara L.

Yelp
Horrible experience. Waited 15 minutes at the table to just get water. Others seated after us we served way before us and we were only a party of two. Food not hot. Mediocre. I love this place usually but horrible experience today! The bus girl clearing table left a huge cart of dirty dishes inches from my body and dropping g food and water on me. Disgusting.

Yelp
Essentially it was average and lacked the attention to detail that warrants a $100 price tag for two people. Ordered rhe country fried steak and a short stack of pancakes, egg whites and potatos. The country fried steak portion was small, eggs were average, pancakes were average and potato's were okay. The star was the bacon - really good! The big loser was the biscuit - dry and lacked any flavor at all. Not worth the $4. In all it was average. Clean place with plenty of seating however make sure you get there before 8 - if you don't you will be waiting a long time.

Yelp
This place drew my attention because of the DIY pancakes. I chose this experience and added blueberries and pineapple, which was delicious. My husband got the daily special which was spare rib tacos and they were equally tasty. The service was friendly and efficient. It was a very casual, fun environment. They also have a full bar.

Yelp
Went here for some late breakfast fare. Service was pretty good and the restaurant was definitely very clean. My main concerns arise from the food. The food here was just not very impressive to me. There wasn't a whole lot of variety on the menu and the food itself was nothing special. I didn't feel as though the quality was different from like a Dennys. I was very excited to try this place but ended up disappointed.

Yelp
Great local breakfast spot! We lived the idea of being able to to make our own pancakes; we had fun! Service was great and quick. There is a lot of seating but we came on a day that wasn't busy, so it was great we were seated right away. We ordered two bottles of the pancake batter between two people and realized one would have been plenty! Especially since e ordered other breakfast sides.
google avatar

Yelp
A nice and short walk from where we were staying! Definitely looks nicer once you get inside - cute atmosphere! My youngest daughter enjoyed being able to make her own pancakes!

Yelp
Came here for the first time with the family while we were on vacation in Maui. We heard many other families talking about this place and we had to check it out. In concept, it was a great and cool idea to let the kids create and cook their own pancakes. I would just say that it seemed a bit on the higher cost side to make our own pancakes. The pancakes were decent but I wasn't totally over the moon with it. I ordered the chicken fried steak and was really happy about it. It was a good size portion, the flavor was good and it came out hot from the kitchen. Overall it was a good experience and the kids totally loved to make their own breakfast, now we just need them to keep doing it at home!!!

Falynn A.

Yelp
The ube pancakes were so good! The banana bread French toast was honestly not my favorite, it was a little too sweet and thick for me. No view of the ocean or outside really, there's not many windows in the restaurant. Server was nice!

Quintan G.

Yelp
Very good Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. Very good. However, for this to be a "create your own," pancakes breakfast restaurant, though you can through using different toppings on your pancakes, Slappy's is missing a golden opportunity for people to enjoy great pancakes. They use the same pancake batter for all the different toppings they have, and the batter is horrible, just horrible. Unless you like regular, plain tasting batter. I think most people who eat their pancakes are content with plain. I admit, I'm a pancake snob. If they are making $1,000,000.00 per year, a better batter would triple it. Said my peace. Perhaps they are content.....I won't even discuss the biscuits, but I'll never get them again!! lol.......never........: ) Continued success!!

Yelp
Fun, definitely fun and a must if you have kids. The kids loved it. Everything was super easy. Drinks were great!! The only thing was there were quite a few ants on the table. They said they were going to spray tomorrow.
google avatar

Yelp
Wasn't sure if because of the name this would be good food or just a great name. Well over the course of our week here, we have gone 3 times. We love it! The cinnamon roll pancakes were awesome as were the regular buttermilk ones. Everything we got was very good. Friendly and fast service..
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing family friendly restaurant! I love and appreciated the idea of having pancake grills to make our own customized pancakes. Think Korean BBQ idea but for pancakes. Our teenage son truly enjoyed this and I think it was satisfying to him knowing how delicious he could make his pancakes. If you choose to make your pancakes they have prepped batters in 8 oz squeeze bottles. You then choose what fruit, sweets, and or fillings you want. There are also signature plates like you would see on a Denny's or IHOP menu if you didn't want to put in the work of making your own pancakes. This is what I ended up doing and chose the Classic Breakfast. Nothing exceptional yet nothing terrible either. I did love their homemade strawberry jam! We definitely would come back here to try out their variety of specialty pancakes! Pricing was decent and service was excellent. They even have merch sold up from if you want a little souvenir.

Yelp
We came here because jt had good reviews. When we walked in it was lonely. The place was a bit dirty. The People there are friendly. The coffee was watered down. There wasn't anything too special about the food. Definitely needs more seasoning. The potatoes were hard. The bacon still had parchment paper on it. The breads were not even toasted and the jelly was watered down. I would've had a better experience. At a Denny's.

Yelp
Such a neat little breakfast place!! Super fun that you can purchase a bottle of pancake batter/toppings and cook your own pancakes while you wait for your food. It was my perfect solution to my sweet vs savory internal debate I have every time I get brunch lol The loaded potatoes were absolutely delicious, the rest of the food was great too. Our waitress was sweet, and got us in and out quickly since we were in a rush. Highly recommend on your trip to Maui!

Yelp
When I first heard about this restaurant, I was very excited to make my own pancake!! Such a great idea! Ok for the service, it was mid. The waiters didn't check on you a lot, but they still did here and there. For the ambience, it is again, kinda mid. Not too loud, but not too quiet. Finally the food. It was awesome! The let's lots of options and food choices you can choose in order to make your own pancake, such as nuts, strawberry's, chocolate chips, etc. Ovrrall, I recomend you try this place at least one time, though it does feel like something is just missing with the resturaunt. Shoutout to my waiter, Angie!
google avatar

Susanna M.

Yelp
Quick and nice service. Food just was fairly basic. Burrito didn't have much flavor, the "chips" for the chorizo plate were under everything so they were soggy. Would recommend those being served on the side. It reminded me a little of dennys but seemed like it was a fun place for the grilling your own pancakes. Casual ambiance
google avatar

Eric S.

Yelp
Wow -- the pancakes are amazing and the loco moco was top-notch. We will come here again on our next trip to Maui! We did not do the "make your own" hotcakes thing because it was just the two of us, but I think we would if we were traveling with family.

C L.

Yelp
Great experience with the fam! The children loved making their own pancakes. There were a lot of us, and they had plenty of space for everyone. Will definitely make Slappy Cakes part of our Maui tradition the next time we visit!
google avatar

Yelp
Hawaiian pancakes are absolutely amazing! Loaded potatoes are so good! I love this idea of griddle at the table! Service was great! Highly recommend!

Yelp
I did not know what to expect when I got here!! We came on a Saturday morning 9 am and there was no line. I'm sure it gets packed though! Such a big restaurant. Who knew you could make your own pancakes!!! This was very fun, we were so full and it was a great experience! We ordered the oat special pancakes (10$) for a bottle The beef tacos (special) And the Greek yogurt fruit bowl Toppings: banana, honey and coconut peanut butter!! Yall this was so fun, I was very satisfied and the coconut peanut butter is a must! I wouldn't do the tacos again but try other stuff! Ask your server what their favorite is bc our server told us his favorite were the coconut syrup and coconut peanut butter! He did not disappoint!

poofia

Yelp
Super fun experience with family of six! Ordered three bottles of batter which was enough for all of us (including sides of potatoes and bacon). Can't go wrong with the classic buttermilk and chocolate batter. Decided to try the ube flavor this time as well since it was a limited summer edition! It was good, not great, very little ube flavor. Got the dragonfruit lemonade, but wouldn't get it again. Food comes out relatively quick, however, our server was new and took about 20 minutes to get our coffee and tea. Super sweet guy, though, and didn't charge us for them in the end.

Yelp
A fun breakfast/brunch place, but options add up fast. We came around 9-10am on a weekend and had no trouble getting a table for 5 with a griddle. Everyone else ordered plates for breakfast, but my son and I did the MYO pancakes. The bottle of batter easily fed the two of us. The add-ons, which make the pancake experience fun, can add up fast. They're $3-4 each. We got chocolate chips, mac nuts, and coconut syrup. If you want pure maple syrup, it's an extra $4(!) otherwise, there's pancake syrup on the table. That said, we did get a LOT of each of those items, more than we used. We added a side of spam, which was sliced and grilled and had good flavor over simply sautéed. Juice and coffee was fine, and I appreciated that they had lids/straws for juice cups for keiki.

Karen A.

Yelp
It's a fun place that you can even grill your own pancakes at your own table. The food is really good and the service was great and very attentive, even the host was very nice.
google avatar

Yelp
One thing stood out to us at this restaurant and we didn't get to personally experience it but we watched others and it looked like a blast. You can make your own pancakes! They have griddles in some tables where everyone can participate in making breakfast, fun for the whole family if you ask me. We had banana pancakes, the breakfast hash, and the Slappy grand slam, all were equally satisfying, and a good bang for your buck. We came at closing time so service was a little bit slow, but everyone was still very kind and overall we had a great experience. I'll give it a 4/5 stars because everything was good, but nothing exceptional stood out to us. Cheers Lexi

Yelp
We visit Maui once a year and always make it a point to eat at Slappy Cakes. Our daughters love it here and the whole make your own pancakes concept keeps us coming back. This all changed on our visit this morning. We were sat in a booth in the rear dining area. We immediately noted that the booth was quite unkept. There was a layer of dirt, grime, hair, dust and bird droppings on the side window sill area of the booth. It was an accumulation that obviously indicated that this area had not been wiped in weeks. I was okay with it. We began to make our pancakes and enjoy our meal. I took a sip of my coffee and glanced over at the tiny container of cream and saw a HUGE cockroach casually sipping cream out of it. I did not want to make a big deal of it, as I wanted my daughters to enjoy their pancakes. I shooed it away and carried on. After the third cockroach made its way onto our table, I alerted my wife via text of the situation. We "wrapped" up our breakfast quickly, paid the bill and left. It was unbelievably gross. Three different roaches crawling around our table. Extremely disappointed. Needless to say, we will not be coming back here. This visit will unfortunately end our Slappy Cakes tradition in Maui.

Yelp
What a cute experience for our family! Our kids (7 and 4) loved being able to make their own pancakes. I think our son preferred making them versus eating them, haha. We did a bottle of the buttermilk batter with whipped cream and chocolate chips for fixings. The fixings were $3 each and were large sizes - it didn't even look like we used them at all. We also had an order of the cinnamon roll pancakes. Those were really great! Overall, we loved the experience for our kids. If we came back without kids, we would have probably sat at a regular table versus a griddle table. The service was okay - they were busy but we didn't need anything once our food was delivered. They have shorter hours (7am-12pm). We got there around 9:30am and the wait was 30-35 minutes. We waited around 25, but there's a lot of seating outside to wait. They have a cute little merchandise section if you wanted to buy shirts, cups, etc.

Yelp
The breakfast options in Ka'anapali are somewhat limited but we try to hit Slappy Cakes at least once each time we're in Maui. We were seated immediately upon arrival which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered the Carnitas Benedict and it was really good. Plenty of meat and the eggs were perfectly poached. But the best part of the meal was the Banana Bread French Toast. It is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Christopher T.

Yelp
Good was delicious with fast friendly service. It was great to have gluten free options as we had a couple folks in our group of six requiring it. No extra cost for gluten free a big plus! Casual family dining another plus with our toddler.

Yerin L.

Yelp
How fun! Never been to a place where you can make your pancake DIY. It was fun experience and loved the slappy moco. Service was awesome
google avatar

Jheno C.

Yelp
Hungry for some delicious pancakes?? Well no further because this spot has everything you would want for pancakes. Want to make it yourself? They have that option too! This place was very unique and I was glad I found a place that had pancakes that are dairy free. My kids love pancakes however, my daughter has a dairy allergy so I was very happy I found this place. The server was very accommodating and went to the kitchen a few times to check if things had dairy. I like more savory breakfasts so I got a Burrito with bacon, which was very good. Bacon was a little extra. It needed a little more meat though. My wife loved the country fried steak with gravy. We ordered extra gravy but they didn't tell us it would be extra.. however we enjoyed it. Great spot and it gets filled pretty quickly so I'd suggest getting there early! Earlier the better!
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
Got a coupon for a free batter with any meal order. I had never been to a Slappy Cakes, so decided to try here for breakfast. The staff was very friendly and promptly led me to my table. I found loco moco and ordered it "my usual" way of eggs over medium and gravy on the side. I ordered the special peanut butter batter. It was enough batter to make four small pancakes. The loco moco was very good. The pancakes turned out okay, thus the four stars.
google avatar

Neelu K.

Yelp
The atmosphere and service was great! Our server was very welcoming and explained the concept of the griddle very well on our first visit. Our receipt had a coupon for a free bottle of batter so we came back the next day!

Serena S.

Yelp
This is a big yes for us every time we visit Maui (with and without our 8 yo!). There will inevitably be a wait but usually only about 10-20 minutes and worth it. It's pretty spacious inside and well set up to fit many and flow. We love making our own pancakes as it keeps everyone occupied (busy children, adults suffering from too many Mai tais consumed the night before...). We also ordered a side of bacon and the loco moco because we must! So good. We included sides of chocolate chips, strawberries and lemon curd and had fun being creative with shapes and toppings. We did a buttermilk batter and usually we do Taro too but it wasn't on the menu; they seem to have gone away from that in the last 7 years and towards a rotating flavored batter: it was apple pie-ish which sounded ok but not what we wanted. Coffee is meh (watery); but our server was fantastic and prompt!
google avatar

Nate L.

Yelp
We saw Slappys on our way to the Food Truck Park and decided that we were going to stop in the next morning. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty empty, so we were seated immediately. We looked at the menu, and my wife wanted to cook your own pancakes at your table. You order the type of pancake batter you like (buttermilk, chocolate, etc), and fixin's (chocolate chips, whipped cream, etc). The batter comes out in a squeeze bottle, and you cook your pancakes on a griddle built into your table. I tried one of the pancakes, and it was delicious. I, on the other hand, had the spinach and grilled onion scramble, and it was excellent. We advise you to arrive early, because by the time we were leaving, the place had filled up.
google avatar

Tracy T.

Yelp
This is a great place if you're into all things pancake as I am. I loved the chill vibe of this place - no rush, you're on Maui time now!! The best thing about Slappy Cakes is being able to score one of the tableside griddles to make your own (definitely recommend making a reservation or coming in early to do so!) There are lots of different breakfast options to choose from outside of pancakes (but you also can't go wrong with just pancakes!) Service was good and friendly- which is always a plus. I love how everyone friendly this place is, so there is definitely something for everyone here. There is parking available outside but also easy to get a rideshare to and from if you are staying at a nearby resort.

Yelp
We have been coming to Maui for 2 decades and have never dined at this establishment. The restaurant had just recently opened after the Lahaina fire and to our surprise there was no wait to get a table. We had a great waiter and the ambiance was pretty chill. We ordered the free Gluten squeeze bottle due to a deal my wife had. We did have 3 breakfast sides and combined with our drinks it came to about 27 bucks total for our breakfast. Making pancakes on tables that act as hot griddles was the best part of this establishment. I don't know if we will ever return but the experience was memorable. Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, my Friends!!!
google avatar

Yelp
A fun family breakfast can be had here. There are grills in the center of the table and they bring you squirt bottles filled with pancake batter to make your own! They will also do it for you if you want from the kitchen. They bring you all the fixings. We ordered real syrup and macadamia nuts to go on top of our pancakes and a side of bacon. It was just enough. We had some to bring home and eat the next day. The novelty of getting to cook your food table top is fun, especially for the kids. Ambience is typical pancake house.. coffee was quite good as well

Yelp
It was good! Fun option to cook your own cakes, but we didn't this time! We all enjoyed our breakfast and bloody Mary's.

Yelp
Such fluffy and tasty pancakes! Went back for a second experience and it was awesome.

Yelp
We gave Slappy Cakes a try based on the good reviews. It was just okay. My teens liked it more than the grown-ups did. There is a griddle at each table and you have the option of making your own pancakes at your table. You can also have the kitchen prepare your pancakes for you. My husband and daughter order the seasonal batter which was a lemon poppy seed with some toppings. My daughter ordered a coconut syrup and husband had the lemon curd. They each got an 8 ounce squeeze bottle of batter and prepared their cakes at the table. My son and I ordered from the menu. I had the Hawaiian pancakes and my son had the cinnamon roll pancakes. The pancakes were just meh for me. I have had better pancakes. I probably won't be back.

Yelp
Who doesn't love interactive meals? My girls have been going for years and even as teenagers they ask to make sure we plan to go! The loco moco is also amazing.

Yelp
Great place! You get to make your own pancakes here. They have all kinds of items on the menu. My husband got the pineapple pancakes and I got the breakfast burrito. The breakfast burrito was fresh to taste. Some places have to much oil, but this was actually impressive. The pancakes were cool. We came a 2nd time and I made my own pancakes. Buttermilk batter with no toppings. And my husband got the brekky hash. He liked the breakfast burrito we ordered the first time versus his brekky hash. Service was always great. Would return again, when we are in town.
