I loved it. Chill atmosphere, great bartenders . The food was great. They do seem a little short staffed though. U have to order food at the bar, they bring it up in to go boxes.... there are board games. Its a great spot to have a bite, a few drinks and play games with your friends

Server and Bartender were really good vibes and made sure that we were satisfied Service was 10/10. Food and portions were pretty good not the absolute best but could definitely be worse about 8.5/10. The view is really good and atmosphere was good and had some activities definitely more of a summer spot because it can get chilly and windy but not much can be done about that. Bartender went above and beyond and drinks were a solid 11/10. Would definitely return Overall a 9/10

Nice and chill outdoor space with some games like Jenga and Connect 4 but prices for food that takes forever and comes in paper containers seems unreasonable.

I went here for the first time on a date and the service really sucked. The manager was really nice and spoke to us when we arrived. We could tell he was very busy. However, we went and sat at the bar to order food and drinks. Waited forever just to get someone’s attention so that we could order. The bartender never gave us menus so we looked up the menu in our phones. When we ordered, literally everything we tried to order he said they didn’t have. Even the cocktails we tried to order. Then I asked him if he knew they were out of so many menu items, why not tell us that before hand. He shrugged it off and made excuses. Our food took over an hour to come which is insane. Food was not good and wasn’t even hot. Our drinks was mostly juice. The bartender didn’t check on us to see how everything was he was too busy flirting with groups of women and taking shots the whole time. It was only when he gave us the bill and I complained he offered us two shots on the house but that really didn’t make up for the whole experience. But enough we were two of the only black people at the rooftop so it’s hard to say it race had a play in our horrible service. I will never go back.

This place is not only adorable, but our server was awesome. Took care of just 3 young ladies incredible but was I can’t express how good it was. The food was good especially birria tacos. Def a place to go if you don’t want so much commotion.

Terrible, service is garbage honestly. Walked in and no one greeted us we walked around aimlessly no one said anything to us. Finally flagged someone down, ordered some drinks it took 15 min. Went to the rooftop, no servers, tables were dirty and we had to ask them to clean it, felt like I was a burden. No waiters at all have to order at the bar, they’re understaffed, bad management seems to be the issue..

Unprofessional Service at Clinton Hall I recently visited Clinton Hall in Brooklyn, and I'm disappointed to say that our bartender, Ralphie, provided some of the worst service I've encountered. Despite there being only a few patrons at the bar, Ralphie took an inordinately long time to return to us to take our orders. This, however, was just the beginning of our issues. An incorrect drink was made and when pointed out, Ralphie took about ten minutes to even begin rectifying the mistake, only after serving the entire bar. In the end, I decided to forgo the replacement drink out of sheer frustration. I chose not to leave a tip due to the poor service, and Ralphie's response was nothing short of shocking. He promptly said, "If I'm broke, just say that," followed by "Get the f*** out of here," and "Don't come back." I strongly believe in the importance of good service, and I was deeply disappointed by the unprofessional treatment we received. I hope the management at Clinton Hall takes note and ensures that all customers are treated with respect and professionalism. Save yourself the frustration and do not visit Ralphie here. Clinton Hall please save your business and get rid of Ralphie - he's costing you business!!

My girlfriend and I decided to come here because we saw it on Social Media ... upon entering the place it looked really nice. We found a place to sit and there was a QR code on the table for ordering. The QR code lead us right to a food menu. After we figureed out what we wanted, we then spoke to the bartender about ordering. THE BARTENDER AND STAFF DISCOURAGED US FROM ORDERING FOOD!. They claimed food takes long to make! When I asked "how long?" They only responded with "I don't know, a long time" ... We then left because we felt deceived

Yelp
I came here for an event on a spring afternoon. Although it's on the 5th floor and doesn't have much of a view, it has the rooftop vibe, with trendy decor, patio seating, umbrellas, and glass barriers/walls. I thought it did the trick! I got a frozen cocktail, which also went with the vibe and was good (a little small but fine), and there was a decent beer selection. I'd give 2 or 3 stars for service. Yes, it is incredibly slow. Like, I can't even figure out how to explain it. However, they did end up bringing out an extra burger and donuts, with syringes to fill with chocolate, which was a nice gesture. So, I bumped the rating up to 4.

Yelp
It's was a beautiful Saturday and I felt like rooftop'n and I'm surely glad I finally got to go this rooftop on my list of places to go. Slate rooftop is in the heart of Williamsburg that has an abundance of things to do. It's on the rooftop of Pod Brooklyn hotel and you'll need security to scan you up to the roof on the elevator. You can sit anywhere you please as long as there's seating available, we got there pretty early so we were able to sit anywhere but at night it does get pretty busy and crowded there. They have a high chair setup and a low seating lounge chair setup. Slate rooftop as well has many games ranging from uno, jenga, sorry, connect four, cards against humanity etc. To the back of the rooftop there's a photo boot and test your strength punching bag machine. We enjoyed our time playing uno, connecting four and sorry. The music selection was very up to date and vibrant. The staff was very friendly and informative about what's great on the menu to order. We started off with the frozen frose, it was very good but a bit too sweet but it was nothing squeezing some lime in couldn't fix. We then followed up with the frozen mango margarita which was the perfect blend. Both drinks packed a punch and I was definitely feeling very tipsy. Although I didn't get to take any pictures because I gobbled up the food so quick. I like the fact that all the burger options you could substitute for a plant based patty. I do not eat meat so i had the double patty burger and it was delicious, it as well comes with French fries. We vibed, played games, drank and enjoyed our time at Slate Rooftop for 5 hours, until our old bodies said it's time to go home lol. I'll definitely come back to Slate and I'll recommend it to others.

Yelp
3.5 stars I found an excellent deal to attend an End of the Summer party at the Slate Rooftop. In fact, it sounded like a fun enough event that it enticed me to venture to Brooklyn. Apparently, we were so excited that we wound up being the first people to arrive for the function...! The party ran from 2:00 pm until midnight, with an open bar from 2:00-4:00 pm. The open bar, however, had a limited selection that specifically included a vodka gimlet, a rose wine, or a Bitburger beer. In addition, the deal that I had found included 1 food item from the "Shareables" section of their menu or a burger. We walked out onto the small section of the rooftop that housed Slate and discovered a variety of long, high-top tables and lounge areas with couches. They also had a large selection of board games that could be enjoyed while relaxing. Before choosing our spot, we ventured to the bar and chatted with the friendly bartender. I opted to try the Vodka Gimlet, though I was worried that I would find its blend of vodka, lime juice, and simple syrup either too sweet or too sour. However, she made the drink just right. In fact, I saw the bulk of the partygoers getting that cocktail, which caused a small backup at the bar. My boyfriend, on the other hand, went with the beer, which turned out to be a pretty hoppy, robust pilsner. When it came to the food, he selected the Double Smashed Burger with fries. He said the burger was just decent, but the thin, crispy fries reminded us of McDonald's; they were delicious! For my food item, I went with the Roasted Garlic Hummus, which I found a bit chunky, but flavorful. It was served with sticks of celery and yellow carrot, marinated olives, and fluffy, warm pita points. The menu had said it should have also included charred peppers, though none had been included. Besides our food and drinks, we enjoyed playing a round of Scrabble. While not the largest or chicest penthouse spot we had ever visited, The Slate Rooftop was a fun and chill spot that was perfect for an end of summer afternoon.

Yelp
So accommodating! We went for the 4th of July with adults and a baby and had a wonderful time, and they were so kind and welcoming!

Yelp
Cute rooftop bar for drinks at the top of POD hotel. The entrance was a bit hard to find, but we made it to the rooftop on the 5th, so there aren't really any "views." The menu had some yummy cocktails. They have group games, including giant Jenga and Connect 4 that you can play with friends.
