SLEEP SPLIT - Luxury Boutique Suites and Rooms

Nice hotel. + Very friendly and accommodating staff, location is excellent with easy access to historic sites in Split, convenient store next door for supplies and groceries, hotel seems to have been recently renovated, and breakfast (at nearby restaurant) was really good. - parking is difficult and a couple of blocks away, pillows are not great and the mattress was a little worn out, discotech / club in the same building on the first floor so bring ear plugs if you are noise sensitive.

We had such a great stay at this boutique hotel in the heart of Split! The location couldn’t be better, right in the old town yet quiet and very comfortable. Our family room was perfect for four adults, with super comfortable beds and plenty of space. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we loved all the thoughtful touches, from the sea towels to the movie library. Everything was spotless and well taken care of! :)

Being so close to the old town is very convenient indeed, and all the facilities were in top condition. Clean rooms, parking available upon request, even the use of their selfie stick and beach towels are an added advantage. The owner and his staff were super helpful explaining the key access, the parking, the centers of attraction in a cute hand marked map. Five stars overall! Can definitely recommend. I really wanted to love this hotel! The reviews were so good. Here’s my opinion following a 3 night stay. |Pros: fabulous location about 2 minutes from gate to Old City. We had a studio suite with a nice modern kitchenette (that we didn’t use). Lots of storage space. Also good USB outlets at each side of the comfortable bed. |Cons: there are no common areas so it doesn’t really feel like a hotel; more like an Airbnb with good daily housekeeping. There was no Kleenex in the bathroom. The biggest negative was no included breakfast, which is unusual for (many) hotels in Europe. It wasn’t hard to find places for good coffee and good pastries, but it was a negative for us.

We just finished our stay at Sleep Split, and it was perfect. Super friendly staff, spotlessly clean room, great wifi, cold A/C, cable TV to catch up on news after a day touring the city. After making a reservation, we emailed the hotel ahead of our trip to reserve a parking space (for a reasonable fee), and that worked out great. The hotel has a private garage very close. The staff helped us load and unload our bags and showed us to our parking space. (Parking is hard to find in Split, so if you have a car, this is a major bonus). They even have an elevator, which I am told is rare, since the buildings are all so old (Sleep Split is in a 300 year old building!) As for the location, this hotel is as close the old walled city as you can get. You walk out the front door, cross the street, and you are in the city. We had a great time in Split. I highly recommend Sleep Split.

What an amazing "Boutique Hotel" in the heart of Split!|The family room was incredibly comfortable for four adults, and I’m still amazed by the quality of the beds.||The kitchen is fully equipped, and we truly appreciated every thoughtful detail in the accommodation – from the sea towels at our disposal to the movie library and the selection of books.||A big thank you to Kreso and the Gotovac family for being such wonderful hosts – your warmth adds another star to the beauty of the Old Town.||Last but not least (especially important in Split during the summer): you can book a secured parking spot just a 5–10 minute walk from the hotel.

The perfect place to stay in Split! Very central, super clean, nice staff and everything you could need in the room :)

Just recently stayed at Sleep Split for the first time and was really pleasantly surprised. First of all the location is fantastic. Very close to Diocletians palace but without the noise of staying inside the palace. Secondly the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped for families. Another real bonus was the lift in the building. Anyone that has stayed in split and negotiated tricky stairwells will know this is a real bonus. Staff were polite and really attentive to all our needs.Convenience store located at the street level of the building. Would highly recommend a stay here.
