My worst hotel experience ever.
The “Tobias” double room was almost empty, with only one chair and a coat rack with just two hangers. There was no desk or bedside table as advertised. I had to use the window sill to place our belongings, and the rest had to go on the carpeted floor — which is not hygienic.
The TV didn’t work because no channels were programmed. I called the hotel several times, but the issue was never resolved. On the last night, they told me they would replace the TV, but I was checking out the next morning. This happened during a 3-night stay.
I felt misled. Every time I called, the staff said they would “try to do something,” but nothing was ever done. Even the simplest requests, like an extra chair or an additional pillow, were not fulfilled.
The area around the hotel is not good: many street people loitering, a lot of noise and confusion. From the Tobias room, which is on the first floor and front side, you can hear everything from outside — loud conversations, music till late at night, even passing cars. Sleeping was almost impossible.
