One night stay. Hotel is 6 min walking distance from Hamburg main train station and International coach station. However near by the hotel the Street not so pleasant at first glance if you’re not used to another culture. Steindamm street is a street with so many Indian, African, Turkish businesses. But was absolutely normal, nobody bothered me. Now hotel itself pretty good organised and securt. The rooms are named not numbered. Self check in, which was quite quick. On a check out no problem. My room and private bathroom was very clean. More likely I book this hotel again.

The check-in was a joke. Took us about an hour to get ahold of our keys and I saw many guests struggle with the same problem. The absolut worst part was though the so-called ”room service”-Guy that knocks on Your door early morning and Will not stop untill you open it. This behaviour did not even end even though He was told to cut it off after the first night. Would recomend staying somewhere else.

The hotel does not have a service such as leaving luggage. If I was going to spend money to lock my luggage at the station, I don't know why I also paid extra for the hotel. Even hotels with dormitories have this system. Also, they left the windows of my room open. The room was very cold and the heaters definitely did not heat it enough. I chose it because it was affordable, but I definitely do not recommend it. Do not go, do not make a reservation.

The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I like everything about the hotel. I couldn’t understand why someone wrote disagreeing comments. I didn't hear another guess noise. Just only problem is around the hotel. I visited All restaurants and I liked all of them but the problem was the street. You can see too many hookers on the street and wasn't nice.

We chose this hotel as it had a family room for 5 people. We were there from July 8-9.The ads are misleading. You have communal toilets and showers. Our room was in the attic of a 5 story building. There was no elevator available so it was 6 flights of stairs to get to our room carrying our luggage. Then there was no air conditioning on a very hot day. There were also a lot of flying bugs in the room which had us with bites in the morning. The sheets were stained, there were black finger prints on the walls and ceiling, and the artwork was drawn on. One tv didn't work and the other had limited channels. Several of the outlets were not functioning and a lamp didn't work either. The wifi code did not work. We went down to get it looked after and no one knew what they were doing. DO NOT show up before the check in time. They are not accommodating even if you just got off an airplane and are walking around with your luggage. We asked for a later check out and paid $45 Euros for 2 extra hours. They were standing at our door asking for the keys to the room before the 2 hours were up. Not a good experience at all. Definitely not family friendly.

Way too expensive for what you get. No luggage storage facilities, so if you're earlier than 15 o'clock, you're stuck with all your bags. Staff were helpful though.

All in all I had a good experience here. The hotel is located in kind of a rough area, but it's super close to the train station and well connected to other parts of the city. The rooms were okay, nothing extraordinary and not dirty but also not clean to the core somehow. Service was good, towels were exchanged every day and reception was always able to help. If you're not gonna spend a lot of time in the room, it's an okay stay :)

Our train was delayed by two hours and they did not make any accomodations for us to check in past 10pm despite telling them we would be there only 5 minutes past closing time. Very disappointing and unacceptable for them to have no flexibility and compassion in response to affected travel plans.

Sleephotels is located in a Turkish neighborhood of Hamburg. The streets aren't entirely safe, especially for a female traveling alone in the evening, but just be vigilant. :) The check-in process was smooth with a polite and professional receptionist who allowed me to keep my bags in the office until check-in time. It's located in a convenient part of the city: 10-minute walking distance from the Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) as well as bus terminals for various companies, such as Flixbus/Megabus. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, modern, and have a sensible touch at a reasonable price. I'd definitely return to this place in my future trips to Hamburg and would definitely RECOMMEND. Danke Schön!
