Sleepin International Hotel

I had a favorable experience. The staff was polite and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a balcony with a good view of Bourda Green. There was a complementary breakfast, and guests were given a wide choice. I didn't like the fact that there was no hot water in the bathroom. I saw several families staying as guests in the hotel. Taxi service was readily available.

This is a nice hotel in the middle of most things. Adequate pool that is free to use if you stay in the hotel but you can pay to use it if you don't. Staff are miserable and demanding though and feel like you need to leave straight away as you have finished. So to be honest, would not go back there personally

I stayed here and it was okay .. the ac kept breaking down and spraying us with water. The maids worked hard but I tried to make friends with them but one woman was not too friendly. The pool was not clean and you had to pay for it plus it's in the middle of the restaurant. It's a bit odd actually. The hotel has a high energy theme so you feel something is always going on. The karaoke night was fun. The restaurant food is actually good but you have to wait at least an hour for it. This was a work hotel. That's all I can say.

My husband and myself stayed here. Thé hotel is clean and near to shopping areas as well as the market. The price is affordable. The staff is kind and helpful. You have a wide choice at breakfast. There was one incident which I did not appreciate I invited my little nieces to swim in the pool and there was pieces of broken glasses at the bottom of the pool. I made a complaint and it was dealt with immediately. I commend this hotel.

Worst costumer services inspire of reservation confirmation via email they could find my reservation for single room had to pay a higher price for double room . The music was too loud played pass 1am every night the staff is not friendly. the only good thing was the breakfast. I would not recommend this place for family stay.

After a rough start we were finally able to enjoy our stay. When we got to the hotel after a long flight we were told we couldn’t get the room we had reserved. We were put in a room that was near the kitchen so early in the morning we would get the smell of food and loud talking by the employees. After 2 days we were finally given the room we initially reserved.||We enjoyed the room and the breakfast every morning and loved Seeta, she was sweet, always kept her composure even when guests were mean to her. ||Issues I had:||Employees were too loud early in the morning when guests are trying to rest. It’s too early at 6am to hear employees talking loudly. ||You need to hire more staff to clean the rooms. It does not make sense for 1 person to clean 15 rooms, that is unheard of and the rooms will not be cleaned properly. Some days my room wasn’t cleaned until 5-6pm in the evening and by that time it was hit and miss. The floor would not get mopped and dirty dishes would be left in the sink. That’s not the fault of the cleaning lady but it is the fault of management and should be looked at. ||You need to spend some money and do some upgrades to the rooms. ||I will consider staying here in the future but some changes need to be made.

Amazing room service, beautiful scenery, balconies, breakfast every day as well as wonderful food and a pool area with a bar?! What more can you ask for from a hotel?! I love this place and with I could come here more often. I've come here over vacation twice and have never been disappointed by their services. I would recommend to anybody new to the area if they wanted a real Caribbean feel.

We stayed here for just over 2 weeks during our trip to Guyana in July. Let me first state that the hotel was beyond our expectations. Clean, affordable, great food and service among others, are hard to find all in one place in Guyana. Rarely is it this easy to find so we consider ourselves lucky. The hotel was always buzzing with business meetings, events, etc throughout our stay. The service was worth applause. The staff were very friendly and courteous - except for one young lady that I bumped into my first morning heading to breakfast. I said goodmorning, she said oh s***t, wrong floor. Could get some more training. Typical guyanese country behavior can't be tolerated. Our only major issue during our stay was that our room wasn't being cleaned properly. You can tell it was a quick top wipe and sweep. The bathroom needed to be scrubbed as it became slippery but it wasn't done. However, that was our only negative feedback. The rooms were large enough and comfy. Elevator was a bit slow 🥲 but no biggie there. The pool also didn't seem too inviting and so we chose not to swim. The wifi seemed poor at times room service could take forever. The food was delicious though. The stay came with complimentary breakfast and there was quite a variety daily. However, I personally think that they could include more local dishes in the menu like roti and curry and vegetables - more of the guyanese staple foods. Let the tourists taste more of the local cuisine since we have such a succulent variety. The rate per night was also not bad. We paid USD$130 per night inclusive of breakfast for a room with 2 adults and 2 kids. The room contained 2 queen beds, AC, microwave, mini fridge, iron and even a little balcony with seating area. There is a taxi service just outside of the lobby and a buzzing casino on property. There's a poolside bar and pools tables downstairs and it's quite lively. Meals are also available throughout the day & night from the in house kitchen for guests. Room service is also available. The gym is also accessible free of cost as a compliment to the stay. The hotel, though on the road side and in a very crowded and busy area, offers a good bit of privacy. Parking is also easily accessible. To top it all off, the hotel is within close proximity of everything in Georgetown. Nightclubs, bars, restaurants, markets and businesslike. I will definitely recommend this hotel and stay again myself. It also boasts a good view of the downtown Georgetown, Outskirts Georgetown, Kingston Seawall, Marriot & Pegasus.
