Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough at Disneyland is a magical and enchanting experience that brings the classic fairy tale to life. 🏰✨💖 Walking through the iconic castle, you’re immersed in the story of Sleeping Beauty through a series of beautifully crafted dioramas and stained glass windows. The attention to detail is incredible — from the soft lighting to the delicate animation effects, it feels like stepping straight into a storybook. The narration and background music add to the experience, making it feel intimate and nostalgic. It’s not a thrill ride, but the charm and atmosphere make it truly special. The walk is short, but you can take your time to admire all the little details — and it’s especially magical at night when the castle is lit up. It’s a perfect spot for fans of Disney princesses or anyone looking for a quiet, magical moment in the middle of the park’s excitement. Definitely a must-do if you want to experience the heart of Disneyland's magic! 👑🌸✨

If you're in need of an easy, relaxing (with no wait) walk through an amazingly artistic experience, I highly recommend the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough. While it's not a "ride," this was one of our favorite parts of Disneyland.

Google
The castle walk-through was absolutely beautiful, but it was definitely a tight space and if you are claustrophobic at all, I definitely would not recommend

Google
Wonderful. This is the iconic Castle - which always throws us back to when we were kid. It is often found surrounded by "little princesses" which simply adds to the atmosphere. Walking through the gates is an amazing entry into the world of Disneyland. Very special.

Google
This iconic Castle in Anaheim threw us back to the Disney Classics, and is often found surrounded by little princesses. When you approach, enter, and walk through this adventure, you realize how Disneyland's iconic symbols have lasted generations. A great attention to detail in true disney fashion, and gives you the sense that a new fantasy adventure is right around the corner. It also opens the gateway to the classis Disney rides still popular with all ages.

Google
After all these years, the castle is so iconic and brings that magical feel of Disney at The Disney Magic Kingdom at Orlando, Florida. Nice walk through with floor to ceiling portraits using mosaic tiles.

Google
Such a visually iconic piece of Disneyland. Hands down my favorite thing to see here is the fireworks show over the castle. As of May 2023 the fireworks show is the best I’ve ever seen! It’s super busy obviously, so arrive early to get a decent space

The Sleeping Beauty Castle is the icon castle of Disneyland. Still set up in a walkthrough format, you can see the some of the various scenes displayed as murals on the castle wall as you walk though it. As you exit into Fantasyland you'll see a small statue of Princess Aurora and her beloved prince. Sleeping Beauty castle is the most photographed icon in Disneyland and people wait a good while to get photo pass photographers to take pictures as well as their "magic shots." Sometimes it's easier to get someone to snap your picture and you can repay them the favor. The castle is not real big however, it conveys the lovelyness of the fairy tale as shown. Celebrating the 100th anniversary, the castle is decked out to commerate that. At nighttime projections are placed on the castle in as part of the fireworks show. It can get very crowded to see those however, if you are just looking to see the fireworks then there are other places you can go. Disneyland keeps the simplistic charm of still being able to walk through the castle and gives you the feeling of royalty. After all it is a place where in your mind "dreams really do come true!"

Yelp
Disney has always been known for its castles. A castle is featured in their logo and each resort has its own unique castle. The Sleepy Beauty Castle at Disneyland was inspired by Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany and is 77 feet tall. I was watching the "Behind the Attraction" documentary on Disney+ about the history of the park castles and learned they used a forced perspective technique to make this particular castle look bigger. The upper level was empty when Disneyland opened in 1955 and Walt Disney wanted an attraction built for that space. So this Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough was created a couple years later and opened in 1957. At the Sleepy Beauty Walkthrough, you walk through the upper part of the castle and view several dioramas from the "Sleeping Beauty" movie. The song "When You Wish Upon a Star" plays in the background. It doesn't take long to walk through this attraction and it is a nice tribute to one of Disney's longtime classic animated movies. Behind the castle is the King Arthur Carrousel and all of the Fantasyland rides. Fun fact - The Sleepy Beauty has a drawbridge has only been lowered on two occasions. Once when the park opened in 1955 and in 1983 when Fantasyland was rededicated.

Yelp
# 101 Review for 2024 ***Sleeping beauty's castle walk through is a magical journey*** Overall 5 Stars***** I have always admired Walt Disney's creation because,, the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough at Disneyland iwas a captivating journey that invited us into the heart of a classic fairy tale. The immersive experience within the iconic castle is a mesmerizing blend of artistry, storytelling, and nostalgia. As we wander through the enchanting corridors and beautifully crafted scenes, we found ourselves transported into the magical world of Princess Aurora. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the way the story unfolds throughout the walk is both engaging and magical. It's a wonderful opportunity to step into the pages of a beloved Disney story and relive the enchantment of Sleeping Beauty. For those seeking a moment of pure Disney magic, this walkthrough is an absolute must-do at the park.

Yelp
After walking over the bridge to enter Sleeping Beauty's Castle is an entrance where you can do a walkthrough of the Castle. Be mindful there are a lot of stairs throughout as you go deeper into the castle and the story. I love that some of the stories have sound and animation as it makes you feel like you are immersed in the story. This is definitely a come and see once, but not an every park visit type of attraction for me.

Yelp
When it comes to Disneyland, Sleeping Beauty's Castle is almost as iconic as Mickey Mouse. For many, it is a must photo stop. Taking a photo in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle has become a must do for so many that Disney Cast Members are ready to take pictures to add to guests' photpass. More than just a backdrop for the iconic Disneyland visit picture, many don't realize that guests can actually walk through Sleeping Beauty's Castle. If standing inside of Fantasyland, and looking at the castle, the door to enter is located to the right. Inside are vignettes from Disney's annimated Sleeping Beauty movie. The walk through is rarely busy. The experience makes for a nice break for the rest of the hustle and bustle of Fantasyland. Here are some fun facts about Sleeping Beauty's Castle. The gold finials at the top of the spires are covered in real gold leaf. The Disney coat of arms may be found on the castle. The drawbridge is actually operational, though it has only been lowered twice.

Yelp
This is Sleeping Beauty Castle is located in Disneyland Theme Park. It is a must do even if you just do a walk through. The Castle is surrounded all around by a moat. Stop and get your picture taken there. There are usually cast members around to pose and take photos with them.

Yelp
I am so happy to see the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough is back! As a kid, I loved this walkthrough and watching the dioramas with the dolls and puppets, and was really sad when it closed in 2001. It wasn't until I came back to Disneyland an adult many years after its reopening in 2008 that I got to enjoy walking through the castle again. The art is absolutely gorgeous, and I love walking through the halls and feel mesmerized by the beautiful art and updated technology. It is such a beautiful and nostalgic attraction that harkens back to the olden days of Disney. The castle itself is definitely among one of the most beautiful. I love how it lights up at night, and it's absolutely magical to take pictures in front of. Definitely an iconic sight to see! It's like every princess's dream castle!

The Cinderella castle is much bigger however they used "forced perspective" to make it appear that way. Last time I visited it, I noticed you could not walk through the castle from the front as Mickey and friends perform periodic shows in the castle forecourt. You can however, enter through the back and see some of the murals of the Cinderella story within the partially opened walkway. The Cinderella castle is also home to one of the most sought after character meals inside which is called "Cinderella's royal table." As you exit into Fantasyland you will see the Cinderella fountain. Disneyland keeps the simplistic charm of still being able to walk through the castle and gives you the feeling of royalty. Both castles are used in their nightly shows and are adorned for whatever season or anniversary that they are celebrating. After all it is a place where in your mind "dreams really do come true!" Located in Fantasyland in Disneyland.

Yelp
ICONIC! LEGENDARY! It's giving, Sleeping Beauty realness but it is not slept on! Anyway, it's the castle you see in all the photos, in the middle of the park and it is GORGEOUS! It's even gorgeous now versus 10 years ago with the major face lift it got recently. At night, the projections on the castle during the 100 Years Disney Fireworks Show take this castle to another level! You can take your own photo here or you'll find Disney photographers waiting to take the best photos of you and your friends and family in the center. If you're facing the castle, I'd recommend standing in front of or sitting on the bench to the left of the castle just before you turn onto the the walkway that goes through the castle. You get a great photo of you in front of the castle without having to wait in a long line to take your photo in the center.

Yelp
A pleasant surpirse. Never toured this before and it was a nice telling of Sleeping Beauty. Definitely can miss it if you don't see the sign. The visual effects are pretty cool for the different areas you walk by that tell the story.

Yelp
I've seen a few castles in my day, BUT THIS ONE......this one right here.....Sleeping Beauty's castle is the most gorgeous one I've set my eyes on. It was a magical moment. The way the castle reflects in the channel of water around it, is one of the most beautiful things!!!!

Yelp
Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough is a really good cardio, stairway workout! Located in Fantasyland in the Sleeping Beauty Castle, of course! You'll be walking up and down a couple flight of stairs while reading and getting a course refresher on the story of Sleeping Beauty, hehe! Hopefully, before you go through this attraction, you'll be able to take your photo ops in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Funny, I always thought it Cinderella's Castle, heheh, whoops, nevermind! The Castle itself is gorgeous overall - both daytime and nighttime. Of course, if you're lucky, you can catch the 9 p.m. fireworks. I was slightly bummed to have missed it (dinner reservations at Napa Rose), but there will always be next time! Sleeping Beauty Castle looks really gorgeous around Christmas time too!
google avatar

Ryan L.

Yelp
The Disneyland Sleeping Beauty castle is so pretty, especially during the holiday season when it lights up! It is a bit smaller than one might think but it is still magical.
google avatar

Yelp
Is there ANY way to get away from the crowds in the Mouse Kingdom??? Yes. Find the hidden doorway in back of Sleeping Beauty Castle, on the right side, and climb those stairs. "Castle Walkthrough" doesn't mean walking through the castle to Fantasyland, it means the hidden rooms upstairs. The Sleeping Beauty diorama is a quiet, artistic triumph. In the 2000s, Disney brought back the original that had been used in 1955. Without much fanfare or hoopla, which they should have done. The diorama tells the story that you'll see in the movie. But just as the plot of a Marx Brothers movie is there only to given an excuse for the Brothers' antics, the storyline only gives an excuse to see Eyvind Earle's style that's unique for Disney, in three dimensions and with special-effects lighting. It's not exciting like Space Mountain, nor cute like Small World. Instead, it extracts either a "wow" or studied attention to its detail. The Tchaikovsky score plays in the background. Worth a visit.

Yelp
I loved the music and the goons in the attraction! the ride was so beautiful and cool and I loved the book in the walkthrough
google avatar

Yelp
Such an iconic walkthrough of Sleeping Beauty's Castle!! A must at Disneyland. Be prepared to climb some stairs! Totally worth it!
google avatar

Cassandra F.

Yelp
I have loved this walkthrough since I was a little girl. It's an old school Disney experience, but still so much fun. You do have to hike up some crazy stairs to do it, but if you love Sleeping Beauty or Maleficent, it is definitely worth it. You get to walk through the castle and see scenes from the story. My princess loving daughter thought it was super fun.
google avatar

Nadine C.

Yelp
I never knew that this existed at Disneyland! I always thought that walking through the Sleeping Beauty Castle to get to Fantasyland was the walk through, but it's not! Luckily, I was with some friends who knew what this was and where the entrance is! Just walk up a flight of stairs and walk down a couple more flights. .. look at all of the displays and read the story! It's like being in Sleeping Beauty's movie and reliving the magic! It's cool and full of fantasy and imagination! Try it if you haven't already!
google avatar

Kelly H.

Yelp
Been here two times and it's really fun. First time, it was magical as heck! If you're a disney fan, this is heaven. Love this place. I miss those pre-covid times. The castle itself has a lovely European-style features which is a fairytale theme as most Disney movies and stories are.

Yelp
Most people don't even know you can do this... or have forgotten over time (like I did) that you can enter the small doors and travel through the story of Sleeping Beauty while actually inside of her castle! It is a place to kind of regroup, unwind and cool off as you make your way up and down through the dark staircases of the castle. Take your time in here, go at your own pace. Be mindful that others want to peep through the windows, however. Also, the staircases are really very dark so hold the handrails and be careful. From sweet baby Princess Aurora and her doting fairies thru the curse of Maleficent and on to the long-awaited kiss by Prince Phillip, you see it all unfold through the pages of the book and the windows of the castle. It is so nicely done and very clever.... all the way down to your final steps out of the castle where you can see Maleficent's shadow about to reach out and grab you too.... beware! Enjoy your visit and make sure to be respectful of others both with your voices and your time spent.... keep it classy. Simply. Disney.

Yelp
Cute little walk through for my girls to enjoy. My daughter is convinced I named her middle name after Sleeping Beauty but I didn't even know what Sleeping Beauty's name was until I already had my daughter. LOL. We walked through here and she felt like she was in the movie, going up the stairs and in the dark rooms. It's a nice way to escape the heat for me and a nice way for my girls to get caught up on the actual story of Sleeping Beauty. Win win!
google avatar

Leo Z.

Yelp
This walkthrough castle isn't advertised like other attractions. Located behind Disneyland's main eye catching building. Where the fireworks show takes place along with Tinkerbell's performance swinging in a harness from one mountain to another. Sleeping Beauty has her own picture friendly castle walkthrough and great cartoon history to be witnessed. The walk isn't long but it is full of nostalgia. You'll witness movie moving picture frames along with story lines. Great for those who enjoy Disney memorabilia. Definitely something to look forward to. Children, adults, and dragons are welcomed. No evil spells please. Lol
google avatar

Jacqueline E.

Yelp
Take your time don't feel rushed.... just hurry up cause your holding up the line!!!!! For many of you out there... you can go into Sleeping Beauty's castle! It's a narrow staircase that takes you up and across and then down on the opposite side! As you are going through, you get to see the story unfold in little windows where you see or read what's going on! There are sound effects and lighting! A bit cheesy honestly! A little bibbidy bobbidy magic can update this area a bit but then that would lose the vintage disney feel! If this is your first time don't feel rushed to admire what's inside the windows! Pick up your little kids so they can see better and hold their hand because it gets dark in there! If the line starts backing up just let those people walk by! Get your money's worth and enjoy it DAMN IT! FIVE STARS
google avatar

Emm A.

Yelp
Walking through Sleeping Beauty Castle is not only an experience like any other, but it's also historic and different than other Disneyland things to do. This experience allows you to walkthrough a part of the castle, and learn the story of Sleeping Beauty with pieces to read, art, graphics, and innovative ways to share this story. This is definitely something to see for adults, but some children may also enjoy the experience. This activity is quieter and has almost no thrill. I wish there were more effects happening, but overall I enjoyed this unique experience.
google avatar

Tamara P.

Yelp
My daughter enjoys walking through this castle and seeing the story unfold about Sleeping Beauty, even though we have never watched the movie or read the story together. I don't care too much for the narrow walkways and staircases. Many times you have families behind you practicallly stepping on you forcing you to move through the castle quicker than you'd like. A lot of the time I end up picking up my toddler and carrying her on the many staircases so her little steps don't hold the crowd behind us with pushy, anxious kids up. It ends up being an exhausting tour for Mommy that way. Otherwise the outside of the castle is beautiful, especially at night during the Christmas holiday season. It is also the main focal point of their amazing fireworks show as everyone awaits Tinkerbell's famous flight. It does amaze me how I thought that the castle was enormous when coming here as a little girl, and how it seems to have shrank as I grew older. It is still the main focal point of Disneyland and I still very much appreciate it's history and beauty. So I give it 3 stars for the walking tour and 4 stars for it's history and beauty!
google avatar

Kev H.

Yelp
It's THE number one landmark in the Disneyland Park. We saw a million people taking pictures and selfies in front of this castle, creating a huge traffic around the area. The walkthrough itself to me was just ok although I really enjoyed all the scenes within the castle. Every single art was 100% the original movie quality. And the castle was intentionally made dark inside giving you the almost real feel that you were in a real one. Again, it was probably not the most thrilling or exhilarating, but it was the number one landmark in the park, so I highly recommend you check it out at least once. The walkthrough didn't take long to finish, depending upon how long you wanted to spend your time at each scene, it could be as fast as 5 mins or as long as you want. Also, don't forget to stay around till the dark to see the whole castle light up in a soothing purple color. It was gorgeous.

Yelp
This is my first time going to the sleeping beauty castle walkthrough, while we're discovered that it's based on the movie. Also, I loved taking pictures of the projector, when it camouflage the spinning wheel. Happy 60th anniversary to Sleeping Beauty.
google avatar

Lauren T.

Yelp
Sleeping Beauty's Castle is a storytelling walk-through told by dioramas through the hallways/staircase of the castle. The space is very small to walk though but it's worth going to if you are trying to kill time in Fantasyland as the dioramas are quite neat looking. Musings: One of the original attractions when the park opened in 1955 The castle is modeled after the Bavarian castle, Neuschwanstein. The castle features a real, functional drawbridge which has been lowered twice; once on opening day and again in 1983 to unveil the newly remodeled Fantasyland. The crest above the drawbridge of Sleeping Beauty's Castle is the Disney Family crest.
google avatar

Yelp
A mystical trip through the castle of Aurora. Usually never crowded. Great to walk through with kids. Note: there are stairs to climb.
google avatar

Andrea A.

Yelp
This is an absolute hidden gem in Disneyland. Sleeping Beauty Castle is located at the end of Main Street and serves as the entrance to Fantasyland (which is my favorite land in the park)! The door that leads to the walk through is on the left (?) hand side of the castle; quick tip, Cinderella's fairy godmother is often spotted right by this entrance! When you enter the castle, you take a journey up a spiral staircase that tells the beautiful story of Sleeping Beauty with gorgeous animatronic characters, stainless glass decorative windows, and beautiful paintings from the film. The narrator tells the complete story of Aurora and how she became known as 'Sleeping Beauty' and how she lived with Flora, Fauna and Merryweather and how they protected from the evil Maleficent. Her salvation? A handsome prince (Prince Phillip) rescues her in the end. When my husband and I went to Disneyland a few years ago, he did not know about the Castle Walk Through(!); now every time we visit the park, we always make it a point to visit this attraction. This is definitely a highlight for me when I visit this park. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
What more can you say Disneyland Castle or Sleeping Beauty Castle either way every childs fantasy to see and walk through it to get into Fantasyland. Lots of things to see and imagine. It's always a treat crossing the bridge to the castle then walking through it as a kid you get that magical sensation and of course the little stores and carts to buy your toys.
google avatar

Chrysanthemum A.

Yelp
"Once upon a dream"- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozYZgm0z6lE Sleeping Beauty's castle is an icon of California dreaming. It's the central hub of Disneyland, built upon a dream. The walkthrough is very simple- storytelling dioramas with few special effects. It's a contrast to the bells&whistles of the rest of the park. From an upstairs window, Maleficent glares upon park visitors. It's a beautiful landmark, giving a fairytale realness. From a distance, it looks hugely majestic when it's really small. Still, its smallness is part of its charm. A don't miss attraction in the land where dreams are made.
google avatar

Yelp
It's been closed down for awhile for remodeling. They recently took down the false labeling. Hopefully it will be open again soon

Yelp
There is nothing more iconic at Disneyland than the castle. It is what all roads at the park lead to and the main thing you notice when you walk down Main Street. Most people do not realize that the walk-through portion of the castle was closed for almost a decade. They just recently reopened the walk-through...and I am SO happy they did. During the time it was closed it was hard for me to remember what exactly you did when you walked through the castle...the last time I had walked through it I was as a very small kid. During the period when Disney was not sure if they would ever reopen it I worried that the little I did remember from my childhood would one day be a distant memory and now I do not have to worry about that. The attraction itself involves lots of steps and lots of story elements from Sleeping Beauty. It is the perfect place to bring the little ones and introduce them to the story for the first time or bring someone who is an absolute Disney nut..you really can not go wrong. They also have a separate room where you can go if you are in a wheelchair or are unable to climb stairs. You get to experience the same thing you would walking but through a very nice video in a themed room. Next time you are in Disneyland you do the walk-through of the castle and you tell me that you do not come out the other side in Fantasyland feeling like you are 5 years old again. It is truly magical. :0)

Yelp
The Sleeping Beauty Castle looks absolutely amazing after dark all lit up for the 60th anniversary diamond celebration. They added a lot to the walkthrough a few years back, it's pretty cool and kids love it. It's so fun creating those nostalgic Disneyland moments with my own little family now. And it only takes about five minutes. I always start my Disneyland vacation at this castle, walking over the bridge listening to Jiminy singing "When You Wish upon a Star". Makes me smile ear to ear every time and think to myself, I'M REALLY AT DISNEYLAND!

Yelp
This is for all of those children and adults who've ever wanted to sneak a peek inside of The Magic Castle! I've always passed by this location but never knew that you could actually go inside of the castle. Throughout your journey, you will see books encased in glass that narrate the sequence of events for Sleeping Beauty. As you read the story, you'll see images behind the glass to further illustrate what you just read. The images are dark in nature which gives off that creepy vibe! I love this feeling because as the intensity builds, someone special is waiting for you upon your exit! Anyway, look carefully at the glass because the holograms are ever so changing. You'll see the progression from one scene to the next if you don't rush through this attraction. There is a door in which you will see the sharp blade that rests atop a guard's sword. He paces back and forth to ensure that no one escapes his capture! As you exit the castle, don't be startled as you see Maleficent's shadow lurking in the distance and suddenly coming close to you. She won't hurt you! Come on, we know who her main target is/was so we shall live to ride all of the other attractions at Disneyland and to indulge in all of their tasty treats! Don't skip this attraction if the door is ajar! Additionally, if you or others are unfamiliar with Sleeping Beauty, you can receive a quick synopsis of the story as you read all of the books inside of the castle and appreciate the displays behind the glass.
google avatar

Tammy H.

Yelp
Took my daughter to walk through for the first time. She loved it. The story is played out in all the images in great detail. You will be walking up and down stairs, so not stroller friendly or for those with bad knees. Takes you no more than 10 mins to walk through.
google avatar

Alice M.

Yelp
I've never seen the castle more pretty then during the Holiday in December time. It is so nice. JUST WOW. Disney does such a great job at making you feel magic...i can't even think of a better word.
google avatar

Yonnie C.

Yelp
We never knew we can actually explore the castle that is featured in everyone's photos when they go to Disneyland. It's known as Sleeping Beauty's castle, and you can stroll through inside to see the video images from the actual movie. Lots of sound effects too. Very cool to wander through the dark hallways, should only take 10-15 minutes max if even.
google avatar

Kristin Leigh M.

Yelp
I feel like Disney could do so much more with the Castle. Walking through, crowding around small windows (cardboard-like cutouts with a story to read).... not my idea of fun. You could do something really innovative with this space - I'm not an Imagineer, so I'm not sure what -- but something.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Who doesn't love Disneyland. We have enjoyed many moments here. We have been all week and love it here. Such great memories have been created and will be memorable forever. This place is great at capturing them. We love how there are always people that are there to help and the staff is always friendly.
google avatar

Matt F.

Yelp
Yep, the castle you see so vividly in the park is something you can walk inside in. After walking around the park for a bit, we decided to enter here. Not sure if many people know about it or care, but it was fairly empty inside aside from a few people. It's narrow and a little dark, but there's stuff to look at and an open book with parts of the story scattered throughout. Worth a walk-through of course. There's some who move rather slow inside or will almost hug the glass to see the displays and just stand there as if they're trying to live in the moment. And with it being narrow, you will probably smell some people's body odor from the day at the park or at least the ones who don't know what a shower or deodorant is, so have a can of patience with you. Fans of Sleeping Beauty will surely enjoy it as should most who come to Disneyland.
google avatar

Danielle R.

Yelp
This was a cute walk through. You go through the castle and see the story take place. It is all very simple and there isn't any line since this isn't a ride and just a walk through. It tells the story very well and the props and sound effects are well executed. Perfect for anyone who loves the story of Princess Aroura.
google avatar

Sheena M.

Yelp
As a child, I was never able to see the walk-through. I was so excited when I heard they were re-building it! As a guest at a special event for Club 33, I got to walk through it before it was open. We got to hear a wonderful presentation by famous Disney Imagineer Tony Baxter all about the re-creation of the exhibit. During our walk-through we were privileged enough to have one of the builders, John Gritz walk us through and explain each effect and how it was created. I highly recommend walking through, it is truly amazing! It is just so brilliant what these artist can create and how difficult the effects are to create. Please take your time, absorb the full beauty of each window, and dive into what is considered Walt Disney's most visually striking film.

Yelp
The iconic focal point to Disneyland. There's nothing inside except the golden spike(you should always take a pic there at the spike!) and the gateway to the classic rides. Yet this iconic structure is what let's you know you have truly arrived! So go ahead! Stand in front of her and get your photos for family and friends to be jealous of you. This is also a great spot to catch the fireworks now that they project videos on the walls during the show! Have a magical time!

Yelp
WTF!!! No Sleeping Beauty Castle, it's under renovation. This makes the entire outlook of Disneyland look odd. I know they are gearing up for the 60th anniversary in July but OMG I felt loss. I wasn't the only one confused, this was the #1 question on everyone's mind.

Yelp
One of the best spots to take pictures at and a very common proposal area.

Yelp
This is text book Disneyland awesomeness! I have yet to see a crowd/line so you usually get through it in less than 5 min.

Yelp
I'm glad that the Sleeping Beauty Castle has been reopened for walkthroughs. As a kid, I liked seeing the dioramas through the windows. Now, the dioramas have been replaced by animated scenes - pretty nifty update. Plus, the storybooks are still there, and the last one with the color change is a nice touch. Nice way to spend some time, especially with no lines... and you just gotta get your picture taken in front of the castle!
