Sleepy Dragon Cafe

The Sleepy Dragon is named after the rocks on the other side of the bay — and just like dragons, this place is magical. There's the view on the sea. The hammocks. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. In the evening you can enjoy any drinks you like, like one of the fantastic cocktails (no joke, the bartender makes maybe the best Old Fashion I had so far), while watching the sun go down. They also serve the most delicious Greek coffee I've had on Crete. On top, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I already miss starting and ending my days here. Believe me: You'll fall in love with this place, too.

Extremely delicious food, best greek coffee we've had in all of Crete, great cocktails and excellent service. We loved hanging out here with the lovely views over the bay and the sea.

Really calm, tranquil place with friendly staff and excellent coffee and snacks - and a gorgeous view over the sleeping dragon bay. Magical.

Perfect location, nice staff! Hard to beat for a relaxing drink or breakfast. If you plan to come here from afar, better call in advance to check if it will be open when you arrive. Opening hours change frequently due to religious holidays, special occasions etc.

Magical location for sunset and night sky gazing! Cocktails where also really good , must visit!
