"Slėnis Trakuose"

We had a teambuilding here and had two houses rented for us. The boat trip was amazing - the captain was really friendly, boat was nice and comfy. Service and food were incredible. Views are also breathtaking. What really needs improvement - houses and rooms. A lot of the stuff is broken, run down or don't work. Rooms and bathrooms were not really clean. This place really needs some loving hands and renovation, and then it would be a top place to stay in Trakai.

Despite its many positives, the shared facilities and toilets don't quite meet the standards you'd expect from a four-star site. This unfortunately brings down the overall quality of what could be an exceptional place. If it happens to be conveniently located on your route and isn't overcrowded with locals, it's definitely worth a stop. This is a truly stunning location right on the shore of a clear-water lake! There are plenty of options for parking your car or caravan, and you'll find a wide array of activities available, from beach volleyball and basketball to sailboat and SUP board rentals.

There was a little more noise the first night, but it didn't bother us. A really great beach for dogs. Nice that you can also go swimming with your dog. The upper parking lot was quieter than the lower one. And the upper toilet and shower facilities were in better condition. The facilities could use a little updating, but otherwise the area was really cozy. The view of the lake was great.

We tried the large campsite, somehow overlooking a small valley with some stationized caravans. There are trees for shadow, but not too many of them. The toilets and showers were not completely clean, but ok. The waste baskets were emptied two times a day - important for a hot summer day. You have to pay for a WIFI connection.||The beach is beautiful with a fantastic view over the lake and Trakai caste. We didn't try the restaurants or the cabins.

€46 per night in early August fir a family of 2 adults, 2 children, 1 car, 2 tents. Some pitches get really flooded with heavy rains. We recommended pitching on the higher pitches of the three-level campingrounds. There's restaurant/bar overlooking the lake and the main beach, away from the camping area. There's another beach, tucked away, almost hidden for more pleasant. Reception was professional but could use a bit more smile or pleasantry. WARNING! When you turn into the final small road thatwould lead you into the campground, DRIVE VERY SLOWLY because it appered that the local driver would zoom fast through that narrow, winding road. One such car almost hit us as we took a blind turn. Good thing we were slow. Otherwise one of us would have turned straight into the unguarded side, into the lake.

Location is amazing, food in the restaurant is nice. Apart from that, would not recommend, as the service is very poor, the toilets are old and dirty, the beach chairs are broken. That is not what you would expect from a private and paid beach. The place needs some loving hands to become more welcoming.

A clean, relatively large campsite with good access to the lake. The surroundings are very quiet, 10 minutes by car from the castle and Trakai. Toilet, showers and hot water were OK. The staff is very helpful and nice.

We stayed here with tents. There are some positive and some negative comments that I have. Positive: You can stay with dogs. Lots of room to choose from for the tent. Shade with tall trees available. Fun areas like basketball and volleyball courts and some more free activities. Lots of paid activities as well, like paddle thingy rental etc. The lake is right there with several sandy beaches. One beach where dogs are also allowed. The Trakai castle can be seen across the lake from the beach. Reception is open 24/7 and always at least a phone call away is a friendly person to gelp out. There are some benches-tables around outside, although there could be more I think. Electricity is available in the centre area (not near the beaches) but you need a special plug to connect to regular otlet. They rented these at the reception luckily with no fee. Negative: The kitchen is tiny, basically for 1 or 2 people to cook. There's only 1 small refrigerator and no freezer. Considering how big this campsite is then this is clearly not enough. No common area for sitting- eating, which was especially annoying when it was raining all day. The ground is stones covered with grass so extremely hard and annoying to put the tent up. The facilities (toilets, showers, kitchen) seemed quite outdated, some black mold in the ceiling in several places etc. In a sunny weather this place is more or less ok but with the rainy weather that we got it didn't feel very good.
