26 Memorable Places to Propose Around the World

"One of the highest sea cliffs in Europe. Best views from Bunglas viewpoint, especially at sunset. Nearby Nancy’s bar in Ardara offers trad music sessions and pints of Guinness."

There are 2 choices of parking. One is about 4 km from the cliffs and provides a shuttle bus to the top of the cliffs. The other car park is 2 km from the cliffs, but you walk to the cliffs. The initial part of the journey is quite a climb. You are travelling on the paved road for the shuttle buses so footing is not a problem. The rest of the journey to the cliffs has some up and down parts, but very doable. The views at the cliffs are spectacular. Well worth the climb. The best part is you don't have the crowds like other cliff views. You can easily stroll and take in the sights. I recommend seeing these cliffs if you are anywhere close. Definitely worth the journey, and the climb.

Amazing. Go ready for a hike, pay the €15 parking (close to the walking entrance) You can use the bathrooms in the carpark. Take your time and climb to the top. OR Get the shuttle bus from the large visitor centre just off the main road and enjoy being driven all the way to the main viewing point. It’s a win whatever level of fitness or ability you have. Stunning

If you don’t want a long walk, take this bus trip to the view point. The bus operator was very informative. Then you can walk to the top if you want to, it is still a long hike up the top and it’s a rough and rocky path. When I went it was very windy and rainy, so bring your rain gear. I only went half way, too far for me to walk being a senior but the views were great! Here is a video and you can see how far it is to the top where the little people are walking along the edge at the very top!

Fabulous scenery, well worth the visit. It's a a long walk to the viewing area from the car park so shuttle bus recommended for the less mobile. Cost €8 per adult & runs every 20 minutes

Went to the visitor center, paid our 8 euros and off to the top we road. It was raining and wet, but still very cool to be on some of the highest seaside cliffs of the EU.

Sun came outta nowhere, beautiful day, watched a rain shower crawl across the water and as it got close it created the clearest, closest, most vivid rainbow. Magic and majestic.

Took some finding as we could not find the address but worth it when we got there. David was very helpful and told us where to park the motorhome even though the car park was full. Efficient in ticket sales and onto the shuttle bus within minutes. Great days experience.

Lots of walking and steps and asphalt and buses and dodging buses and wind and sheep poop smells and no latrines and no parking spots and a yelling male parking attendant. What views though!!!!
