The Mike's hot honey pizza was the best; the others were fair. I would recommend calling at least 1 hour before you want to eat - the evening we ate, they could not keep up with the time frame they had given the call-in orders. Our cashier was also not apologetic but instead a bit aggressive.....overall just ok.

Amazing pizza, great prices. They want to move you in and out fast. It was my 1st time there and it was go go go. I wanted a garlic knot or 2 but they only sell them in 6 and they are huge. I was by myself so didn't need 6. No indoor seating, luckily it was nice out and I found a table outside. Not much patience, for me or the man behind me, but great pizza.

CELIAC HERE! I ordered the gluten free Margherita pizza and it was the best I’ve had in my LIFE! I did not tell them I had celiac (but could have asked) however I had no reaction to the pizza and I will honestly take another 2 hour drive to visit again soon. Thank you!

I’m bummed I didn’t get any pictures but my family devoured this pizza. Definitely order online in advance - they get super busy! I eat GF and this is seriously one of the best GF pizzas I’ve ever had. The crust tasted like real pizza dough and you couldn’t tell it was GF. I like how their sauce is sweet and they don’t skimp on the cheese. The staff is working their tail off but having fun when you walk in which is great to see. Adding this to our yearly OBX rotation.

Stopped in for an easy dinner night! Service was pretty quick, they took our order, and we waited outside while it was thrown in the oven to warm up. Pizza was Delicious, and garlic knots were yummy! Only downside was the limited outside seating, was a little warm out, and flies were out pretty bad. All together, it was great pizza, and we'll come back for an easy, and cheaper meal!

We went as a large group and the staff was not friendly at all. They ran out of garlic knots and were very cold about it and wouldn’t make anymore. Food was pretty good and I would say it was worth the cost. Atmosphere was pretty decent and they had outdoor seating. Medicore and I am sure we will find better in the area.

My hats off to Slice Pizzeria. The Buzz is the best hot honey pizza I have ever had.

Wasn't horrible. The pizza crust had a good cruspiness and consistency. It was not as flavorful as I thought it would be. Took a little longer to get a slice that was already cooked. The staff was very friendly.

I love the gluten free pizza here. The sauce is excellent and the crust is perfection! I added lots of toppings and appreciated how fresh everything was.

Have eaten here several times. Great specials and the slices are generous. If you like pizza, make this a go to place.

I ordered Slice before I left my house to grab some groceries. It said 30 mins and I got the text 11 minutes later that the food was ready! I ordered the cheesesteak and a large pizza with half mushroom and green peppers. The cheesesteak was great! The bread was soft and flavorful. The cheese half of the pizza was great! It was well cooked and had tons of cheese. The mushroom pepper half of the pizza was just ok. The mushrooms tasted spiced or something. Overall was good for a lazy night meal and was ready extremely quick!

When we get into town, this is our first stop. Pizza by the slice! Yummy! Service is wonderful! The outside sitting area is nice too when there is a breeze!

Pizza was pretty good. Definitely better than most. Lack of indoor seating and wait-time were not great! We ordered slices that were right there ready to be boxed up. But it was a good 15 min before they did it. Probably great pizza if it was fresher.

This food was unfathomably delicious and we completely chowed down to the bone of this pizza we couldn't resist from eating almost all of it and the service was quick and it was fantastic being able to sit outside and feel free to move around and it was very quality weather as we enjoyed ourselves outside.

Told pizza would be ready 20-30 min. And I would get a text. Came inside at 30 min , no text. Waited then server asked my name. Pizza cold. Pizza crust nothing special. Toppings sparse. I honestly don't know how it gets the rating it has. So glad that I didn't add tip when I paid ahead

The food was good, fast service and nice restaurant too. No sit down option inside but if you like sitting outside it's a good place for that. 5 different sitting tables outside.

Slice is a must anytime we come down to OBX. They never disappoint! Pizza is always great and the prices are good too! Living in Virginia Beach, we pay at least $25 more for basically the same order! Love Slice and will be back

Really good pizza, we got it by the slice. We ordered a couple deep dish pizzas and the chicken bacon ranch. Solid pricing for great pizza. Quick service as well. They move fast.

Really good pizza by the slice! Tried the Pepperoni, Cheese and Margarita and were not disappointed. Staff needs to explain how to order for Non Locals but outside of that it was delicious. Also tried an order of their Boneless BBQ Chicken Wings and they were also very good.

Fast service under the estimated time. Pizza was good and so was the cheese steak. Tried to order online and after a lengthy process would not accept my order and had to call it in. Definitely better than your average beach pizza.

Will only deliver if they are in the mood. Ordered delivery on a Saturday, few days later called to order again and said they didn't deliver to us. Advertisements say Mike marker 8.5 we were at 5. Lady said they never delivered that far (5-10 min drive). The lady didn't believe us and said they never delivered that far before and the address didn't exist. Obviously didn't want the business. Food was really good the one time we actually got it.

I asked some locals where to get the best pizza in Nags Head/Kitty Hawk and this place was on everybody's list, so I gave it a go. Ordered the Margherita and was exceedingly pleased. The chewy crust, fresh ruby-red plum tomatoes, and fresh basil were excellent, but to me the stars of this pie-show were the fresh garlic, which was very liberally applied and immensely satisfying, and the fresh mozzarella. You know how real, fresh moz feels pillowy when you bite it? And how it has that mild but distinctive and unmistakable, beautiful flavor? BAM. This moz was as good as any I've had in NYC or anywhere else. Didn't really expect to find pizza this good in the OBX, but hey, good surprises are part of what makes life such a great ride.

I ordered a Hawaiian Pizza I did not want Red sauce but add Olive oil Pizza crust Very good but the pizza itself had no flavor because there were no spices at all This is not the first time ordering from Slice but tonight was very disappointing

Delicious food! I love their homemade, thick, and super garlicky Garlic Knots. I highly recommend to try the pizza and cheesesteak! If you like huge slices of pizza and foods with lots of ooey gooey cheese, this is the place to try. Parking was easy, they only have an outdoor eating area. Some employees were friendly. I am impressed by how well they handle the long line. I don't think I've every been here when it is not crowded, so definitely patience is key! I'd recommend this place for a tasty bite to eat! And I repeat, you must try the Garlic Knots!

Great place to stop in and grab a slice. No frills, cans and bottles of soda, outdoor seating. Had a great variety of pizza by the slice with quick turnaround. Chicago style is more of a sicilian, but still tasty all around.

Fair pizza. A bit doughy and too much like Sbarro for me. Last time I went they just opened and nobody else there on a 95 degree day. So, after ordering they still tell me to wait outdoors for a loudspeaker announcement it was ready. Total BS when nobody is there. Won't be back...and you're about the closest place to my house. I'll be driving right by you.

The pizza is A1 from Day 1. Been here more times than I can remember. Prices are fair for the location and they have consistently had great pizza over the years. Nice location with a clean kitchen. Customer service is good, nothing personable, but it's a fast pace environment most days. Try any pizza and grab some garlic knots/rolls (they are surprisingly cheap, and definitely delicious).

Slice Pizzeria is one of those pizza places that just hit the spot. It's a pizza place that u can remember from younger years where the bread is delicious, the sauce isn't too saucy, and the pizza isn't greasy. There is a nice patio area if u wanna enough the nice weather while scarfing down your pizza. Definitely worth the stop to try!

2 words- Chicago Florentine! Omg sooooo good! The crust is perfect, thick, actually cooked all the way, and the toppings are so fresh! 10/10 Unfortunately We ate it all before I remembered to take a picture! So good!

The drive took longer than we all expected. It was past the kids bedtime. All were a bit hangry. My wife was getting us settled in for the week. My job was to get us dinner which we could all enjoy and considering it was 8pm, the clock was ticking. We ordered two cheese pizzas and they did not disappoint us! They were delicious!!! It was clear this is a locals favorite. Everyone knew each other. I was greeted by a very friendly woman who juggled everyone's order and made it look effortless as if she was directing a symphony. What it lacked in a formal restaurant setting was more than compensated in an absolutely delicious pizza...the family fought over the crusts!!! Thank you, Slice Pizza!!!

Good and clean pizzeria in kill devil hills. If you are looking for good pizza that can fill up your family for not too expensive, this is a great place. Fairly thin crust (I'm not a big fan of thick crust) but they also have options for Chicago style deep dish pizza. Although they are only allowing take out or delivery during COVID, they still have seating outside that is nice. Most of their pizzas are 16", some you can order smaller, or you can get it by the slices. The pizza was good and the topping seemed more fresh than usual. It did seem a little overpriced- $25 for a 16" pizza, but I guess that was because they were their "supreme pizzas." One recommendation, don't get the garlic knots. They looked way better than they were. They turned out to be a little dry.

I drive down from Corolla every year We are down here for their delicious pizza! Since 2008 this is probably my favorite pizza place in NC and Jeremiah and staff do a great job!

I had high hopes for this place based on the other reviews and I wanted try a local, rather than chain, pizza place. We ordered a large meat pizza and small Margherita pizza for delivery. It took over an hour, but was expected since we ordered during a peak time. We liked the thin crust on both pizzas and the meat toppings were good. The Margherita had chunks of tomatoes rather than slices which I was not a fan of. Rather than tasting the mozzarella, I got mouthfuls of tomato instead. I think we will try again and maybe dine in next time.

The pizza was great. Wide selection of canned and bottled beverages. Outside seating only. I had the Chicago deep dish with pepperoni and sausage and a hand tossed supreme. Both were great. Both the crusts and toppings were excellent.

After a late arrival in Kill Devil Hills, we ordered delivery from Slice Pizzeria. Order and delivery was simple with no problems. Our pizza arrived before the promised time and was clearly hot out of the oven. We had very generous servings of all of the toppings we ordered and everything was good. It was a solid pizza! We ordered two side salads that featured fresh romaine lettuce with appropriate amounts of all ingredients and dressing. I have very low expectations of pizza at the beach, but this was very, very good and a reasonable value for what we received. Recommended when you're in Kill Devil Hills.

The pizza was very flavorful. We tried both Chicago and NY. The Chicago was. It not very authentic, as it was mostly thick crust with minimal topping and worth the cheese on top, but still tasted good. It was a little disappointing they there was no inside seating as well we had not planned for that. Plan to grab your food to go. I would definitely eat there again but I'd stick with the NY style pizza and probably try a calzone.

Solid choice for pizza! Sauce makes the pies. Garlic knots are pull-apart and just so-so.

Deserves all 5 stars! The pizza was that good! I grew up on Long Island and always on the search for the elusive great cheese pizza. This town has numerous pizza places and so glad I stopped here first! They have Chicago style as well but that's not my cup of tea. It's small with only a few seats that consistently has a flow of patrons. Small but loaded strip mall, next to ice scream, fudge and nuts shop and donuts. Omg! What more could you possibly need?!!

This place was amazing. They offer a LOT of different types of pizza. This place is EXACtly what you need when you are tired of the seafood in Outter Banks and don't want a whole pie. This place offers pizza by the slice and their customer service is amazing! This place gets a 4.5/5 for me. And that's coming from two people visiting from Detroit and New York (so we know our pizza) :-)

I am seriously puzzled at the number of five star reviews for this place. I have rated restaurants for quite some time on yelp and I do not give out bad ratings very often, but I feel I need to be honest about this pizza place. There are many pizza options in the Outer Banks. There is a pizza place practically every block or two up and down the main highways, so when people are all saying that this is the best one I really feel bad for the folks who live in North Carolina is Outer Banks. I ordered a Chicago style pan pizza with pepperoni and sausage. It looked OK until I got into it and found that it was grossly under cooked. It was basically like eating toppings on top of uncooked though. I realize that they were very busy and probably pushing pizzas through the oven faster than they should, but at the end of the day it is all about the product. I can forgive bad service if the product is good. To be clear, the service here was fine, but the product was under done. As I'm staying in a hotel room I have no real way to be able to cook it to get the dough baked. I seriously hope that they read this review and remember what makes them great, according to their five star reviews, is an excellent product. They failed tonight.

Great pizza! We ordered a Pepperoni Pizza, Cheese, and Cheesesteak pizzas and all were ready on time, piping hot, and delicious. Won't go so far as to say it is authentic NY pizza, but extremely tasty and great crusts!

Just ok. Wouldn't go back. Tasteless crust. Not anything close to NY pizza. Then again, you're at the beach what else would you expect.

We had tried to go to this place on June 22nd but place was closed due to low staffing, per there sign. I couple days later on our way back from go-karting we decided to stop by this place. The guy we ordered from was rude and curt. We couldn't even put in an order without the guy rolling his eyes. I don't know what the big deal is about this place. Pizza was just ok. The experience with rudeness made it even worse. I'll never go back here again.

Good not great...serviceable pizza. But not fresh and low in value. Over $4 for a slice of bbq chicken and it was 6" wide at crust. Pizza on display had been sitting for a while and cheese was solid. Taste good but like heating up day old pizza in your oven the next day.

Heard this was great pizza.. crust was so chewy.. tasted like it was cooked in a microwave. No it is not good at all. Needed more sauce..the crust is ridiculous. Not edible.

Walking through the door of this establishment you wonder why these people aren't in the business of cleaning(I don't blame them). You can pretty much see your reflection on any hard surface that has been wiped down which is everything. They stay almost as busy cleaning as they do preparing delicious food. The employees aren't overly friendly, but not stuffy either...just getting down to business to make sure that you get your order in a timely manner. The order was prepared and served to us much more quickly than I had anticipated given the number of customers. The manager served us our food and asked if we needed anything else. Mouthwatering food in the display case made for a great presentation. I thought it a bit unfair that my budget wouldn't allow me to purchase one of everything. Nevertheless, my eyes were much bigger than my stomach with two slices of pizza and a couple of garlic knots. A single slice alone was bigger than half of a small pizza in some places. And the garlic knots...divine. The first bite left me with questions...do I devour this quickly or savor it and enjoy it? I did a bit of both. I began to devour it and halfway through began to slow down and savor the flavor. It wasn't long before the 'itis' set in and I wondered if I would make the hour and a half drive home awake. The manager came over and boxed our leftover pizza. That's right...left over. The slices are so large we were only able to eat one piece each. Let's not forget the patio outside for customers that want to enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and maybe a few flies. ;) I will definitely visit this establishment again. The price is right and the food is excellent.

First time here went on past reviews. Pizza was the best in OBX since coming here for vacation the last several years. One note very busy so call ahead. Pizza was cool well had half cheese and half sausage. They sell by the slice which is good.
