The interior resembles a chill, hip boat hull meets diner which I'm definitely into. The menu was simple in the way where you have a variety without being overwhelmed with options- and honestly I would eat everything that is offered. The food itself was very flavorful, well prepared, and delicious. The cost was on point. Very well priced for the quality. The service was average, it was attentive and prompt but lacked warmth and cheerfulness. I would definitely return and recommend this place, definitely a gem.

Unique diner with a funky and cool vibe. So much decor to check out, and the whole place just gels together. They have some pretty interesting dishes to choose from, and the service is good. Refills on coffee and all the classic breakfast options. Washrooms are a bit small and awkward, but otherwise a great dining experience!

Tried another new place for Sunday brunch. Slickity Jim's is on Main Street. Far size narrow restaurant that's open until 2:30pm. Get there early! We arrived around 11am and didn't get seated till 11:30am. Long wait but food was delicious! I had the Huevos Rancheros. It's a big helping loaded that was actually enough for 2 people. We also ordered the short rib Benny, ham & cheddar omelett and breakfast burger. Also ordered the pancakes. They were more like crepes than pancakes. But we still enjoyed them. Staff was very friendly and atmosphere was lively. Must try spot! You won't be disappointed.

First time here. We do like it here, not loving it though. And here’s why. I like the service, very attentive and the serving is very quickly as well, if you’re hungry, you’ll know how important that is 🙂 We like our food, served hot and the portion is generous, price is therefore pretty reasonable, good value for your $. I didn’t like my drink, it supposed to be a bubbly drink, there isn’t one bubble to be seen and it tasted like the bubble drink has been open for 2 weeks, completely lost its life. My partner didn’t particularly enjoy his drink either, he did later see that they have a good selections beers. We probably won’t return just because there are so many restaurants in the city that we love. However, this restaurant is good value for $ for sure.

Really funky breakfast spot with a classic brunch menu and an assortment of beverages both alcoholic and non. Had good service, it was busy Sunday at noon as to he expected, the decor was fun and the food was good. I had the breakfast burger and my GF had the ham benny. The breakfast burger was a mouthful but filling and enjoyable. It came with a small salad and some potatoes. The ham benny was really good the hollandaise was good and they gave a nice chunk of seared ham with it and a healthy portion of potatoes on the side.

This was delicious! I always love this place for their eggs benedict and was so excited when they expanded their menu and added skillets. Was the perfect amount of savoury and I’m so excited to try the rest of the menu. I’ve been on a skillet binge so this was on point for me.

Great food. Very imaginative. Service was lacking a little. Like they seemed a little short-handed. The coffee was DELICIOUS! Not your typical diner/weak coffee. All in all, very tasty.

Slickity Jim's is quite a quirky place. The service was good, although we (and other people) had to wait for a table for some time, even though we could clearly see there were tables available. The menu is extensive, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. I wasn't too blown away by my meal, but will be back to try some of their other items.
