Had an excellent breakfast and lunch here on our first visits. The Oyster Po-Boy was delicious with fresh bread and an abundance of fried oysters. Service was excellent. The location is great, being on the beach. And, it was nice dining on the covered balcony with a nice view of the ocean.

We are so happy that this restaurant is dog, friendly! Our server Gannon, was a pure delight. She helped us navigate the menu and kept us supplied with cold drinks, all while simultaneously giving our big dog Hampton, lots of love and attention, as well as his own bowl of ice cold water. Thanks for making our dinner on the beach absolutely perfect.

Google
So it's our first time here and the 4 for service is only due to it taking 15minutes after we where seated for someone to come over. Aside from that our waitress was incredible. The food was really good I ordered crab cakes and I will say these are probably some of the best I've eaten filled with crab meat not like many places where they sre 90% filler 10% crab meat, and the lobster bisque was on point. Will definitely return.

This spot exceeded expectations!! We are in the area just overnight and stopped here for a bite with the kids. Náutica took care of us and I’ll tell you what, we haven’t had such great service anywhere on the East Coast like we did with Náutica in many years!! She literally took our order with appetizers for a family of 5 all by memory, blew my mind! So kind, so accommodating and very attentive. The food…amazing and so full of flavor. Hands down an amazing experience the whole way around. Kudos!!! 🎉

This was my first time at Slider’s Seaside Grill on Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, and it came highly recommended—and it did not disappoint! It’s a fantastic spot for seafood lovers, with a great selection of fresh and delicious options. For those with seafood allergies, they also offer tasty alternatives, so there’s something for everyone. The appetizers were excellent with generous portion sizes, and the prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had a wonderful dining experience. I had a great time and enjoyed every bite of my meal. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their seafood dishes. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

Sliders Seaside Grill has a beachfront location. The atmosphere is lively and family-friendly, with plenty of outdoor seating and even live music that adds to the fun, vacation vibe. It’s a popular spot, so expect it to be busy, especially during peak times. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was delicious — creamy, well-seasoned, and comforting. We also tried the burger, which was nothing too special. Good spot if you’re with family or just want to enjoy a meal near the beach with music and casual energy.

Went here for the sunrise breakfast... it's was an amazing view of the sunrise and my server/bartender Jay was fantastic. What a great guy..very sociable and provide top notch service. Great food... nice chill music and tasty pineapple mimosas.

Google
The view was immaculate, the staff was friendly and quick, and the food was PERFECT! We got to see a gopher tortoise near the bar and the restaurant had a small walkway to the beach that was very convenient. Parking was limited, but that’s expected for a beachfront restaurant. Everything was amazing, will come back every time I’m in Amelia!

Yelp
On our trip to Jacksonville my wife's brother took us to Sliders Seaside Grill on Amelia Island for lunch. Coming from the West Coast there are a few preconceived notions of what a place on an East Coast beach might look like. Sliders looked so cool with it right on an Atlantic Ocean that it met and exceeded my expectations of what a place on this coast would be like. We were especially happy with the prices. The food was delicious. An Oyster Po Boy my wife had was filled with crunchy fried Oysters for only $17. Out in California it would be close to double that. The Beers here ranged between $7 to $8 for 16oz so you have to get one to go with the Po Boy. I ordered the Oyster Basket and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also $17 as were most of the offerings in the under $20 ballpark. Compared to seafood prices out here this place was a gem.

Yelp
Salmon Power bowl was great. Scallops were so salty! Good portions and a fine place. Have a robot that delivers food and is really obnoxious. Couldn't fit through chairs, that they placed, it tells you to move it or lose it. Would like service from a server, not a machine.

Cassidy B.

Yelp
The food was okay. We had the low country boil, oysters and a chicken sandwich. The oysters were not good at all. The service was truly awful. The restaurant was mostly empty and only saw the waitress a couple of times. They were setting up for live music and the atmosphere was okay but there's a kids playground right next to the outside tables.

Angela H.

Yelp
Oh what a nice place to sit and enjoy the breeze and a good musician! The food was fabulous - the breading on the fish was tasty and slightly seasoned but just salt. The fish was perfectly cooked and flaky on the inside and crunchy on the outside. But, even better was the toasted cuban bread it was on! The warm lobster and crab dip was a perfect appetizer and plentiful. Two thumbs up (and snuck a quick last spoon of the dip to make sure it was all gone : ) !! Musician was very good and the three of us enjoyed everything.

Mike L.

Yelp
Killer breakfast burrito. Amazing views of the ocean while you enjoy pretty attentive service. Good experience for breakfast

Lori B.

Yelp
We stayed right across the street and every single night of our stay we ended the evening at sliders. The first night we ate there. Peel and eat shrimp, shrimp and grits, and fried oysters. All dishes were fabulous. The remaining nights we joined the fabulous employees at the outdoor bar after dinner elsewhere and enjoyed the nightly live entertainment. Great drinks, my usual swing seat at the bar, fabulous company and the bar girls were the best! Thank you Fiona, Aya, and Erin. We found our home away from home bar. We love Sliders and will return every time we are in the area!

Sydney T.

Yelp
Nothing to complain about! Our server was very kind and helpful. The vibe of the restaurant we LOVED! You can sit inside, top deck or outside. We sat outside because they had the cutest park for littles. It was so nice to have a table right next to the park and watch our children play. Took my sandals off and enjoyed the sand! The food was amazing! I got the banging chicken tacos and wow! So flavorful. My husband isn't a fan of seafood so he got the wings and they looked amazing plus he really enjoyed them. My mother in law got a seafood platter and loved everything, mentioned the hushpuppies were a bit sweet though. Went for lunch but plan to come back for a night time experience. Cute seeing children play & dogs able to sit outside with owners. Everyone around us seemed to have a great experience too.

Linda S.

Yelp
Our server was Jay!! Super friendly guy, stayed on top of things, and had fabulous eyes. He helped us with our food selection and we were very happy with the meals. I would say the food portions were moderate. Not huge but not small either. We were able to finish the meals and were content. The place had a fun vibe. We would go back to try other items on the menu.

Joe M.

Yelp
The location is terrific. Right on the beach. The service was decent. My seared scallops with Gouda grits were fabulous. My wife loved her fish tacos. Only complaint would be the tiny glass of KJ Chardonnay that they charged $9 for.

Tanya P.

Yelp
The location can't be beat - overlooking the beach and just steps away if you want to go for a post meal stroll. The service staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is also really good. It's a breakfast / brunch type of place and there's a nice variety of food to choose from. A nice spot for a relaxed morning breakfast. Get a table outside on the balcony if it's not too hot out and enjoy the view.

Dawn W.

Yelp
The location and vibe of sitting outside is absolutely fantastic. They had live music that was pretty good and I'm not a live music kind of person. The server wasn't exactly knowledgeable about absolutely anything we asked about, but very friendly. We ordered the small plate of seared sea scallops with grits that was phenomenal. The pecan and goat cheese salad was very underwhelming and the lobster roll was a 3.5 my adult daughter told me. The pineapple casserole was good, but our server couldn't really tell me what it was. It seemed to be canned pineapple in a creamy sauce with a more savory crumble on top...interesting.

Julie B.

Yelp
Fish Tacos and Power bowl are delicious!! Both times our larger group was there, the service was great as well.

Trinity M.

Yelp
Traveled to Amelia Island to watch Clemson play in the gator bowl! Tons of great places in the area but this had the best ambiance, right on the beach, amazing and quick service. I ordered a white claw and the shrimp tacos. Fries were a bit skimpy but they noticed and brought out an additional plate for free! Parking is easy just park at the lot. The live music was so great too and very enjoyable. Overall had a rest evening at sliders. Thanks so much!

Tim S.

Yelp
I really enjoy Sliders. It is right in the beach and they have live music every day. I've tried Shrimp and Grits at just about every place in town and I actually think Sliders is the best. Enjoy sitting with your feet in the sand at an outdoor table or sit in the Tiki Bar. All are fun. The service is always friendly and attentive. You really can't beat the setting, especially with a skinny margarita in your hand.

Steve A.

Yelp
I hadn't been to Sliders in over a dozen years. Used to take my daughters there when they were little because of the swingset they could play on. Everything tonight was spot on. Had fried pickled appetizers and fried green tomatoes. Both delicious. We had crabcakes banging shrimp and ahi tuna tacos and all were very delicious. Our server Keely (sp?) was fantastic. She told us she was swamped with many tables, but she took care of us still. Brought our drinks and food quickly and kept a good check on us. Great experience.

Lilliana C.

Yelp
Sliders is one of the better restaurants on the island! With plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating, you're always guaranteed a table here. We love coming for live music and eating right on the beach. There's even a playground outside for the kiddos - It's is a great spot that appeals to all walks of life! The service here is also very welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu, and the food is great!

Tari O.

Yelp
Had a great dinner on a Friday night at Sliders. First let me just say the staff are so nice. Literally couldn't make a move without someone greeting me or checking to make sure I had what I needed. Sweet people. There was a live cover band, definitely sit outside by the water to enjoy the music and listen. We enjoyed the catch of the day BLT. You can sub out the fries for a side.

Lexa B.

Yelp
Cute beach front dog friendly spot! The outdoor seating is in the sand and the tiki bar has swings. Adorable and good food. The banging shrimp, chicken potstickh, and ahi tuna tacos were delicious! Miami vice from the bar tasted just like vacation!

Philip G.

Yelp
Entirely too expensive. Prices feel like they've gone up exponentially every time we've visited. We've gone probably 4 times in the last 6 years, and while there will be inflation given today's economy, the prices are on the fringe of being a luxury restaurant, which definitely isn't the case with the product. Some of their options are fancier now as they try to fit the persona, but even a beer feels like a luxury purchase here. Unfortunately, we probably won't be able to afford to come back a 5th time.

Dennis H.

Yelp
Really nice on the beach with inside and outside seating, had live music outside with beachside bar. Waitress was very sweet and friendly and was attentive. The baked crab and lobster dip impressed and my fish tacos were awesome also.

Natalie D.

Yelp
Delicious food and our server Bella was so sweet and attentive. She contributed to a wonderful night.

Amanda L.

Yelp
Jay the bartender was AWESOME! He's so nice and pours the best drinks! Brunch was amazing! Def made my morning! Food was outstanding! Got the burrito and the eggs Benedict with cheesy grits added some sugar and perfection! Def would come back! Thanks!

Caroline M.

Yelp
The restaurant backs right up to the beach so kids can play on a sandy playground within earshot of a covered patio where parents can enjoy good shrimp and a cold beer. Very casual, quintessential beach shack.

Katie M.

Yelp
Amazing food(m, fast service, great outdoor entertainment! We come here at least once a month and we are never disappointed!

Johanna G.

Yelp
Exactly what you'd want in a casual beach bar/restaurant. Friendly staff, good food (my son ordered seconds of the redfish), and a good live music act. The location is right on the beach so the kids ran off to play in the sand as we waited briefly. There is also a playground for very little ones and dog friendly (I love dogs). Did I mention very cold beer? We enjoyed our stop at Sliders and will be back next time though.

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
A must stop during a visit to Fernandina Beach. Great drinks and appetizers. Wonderful vibe at this place and you can't beat the beachside location.

Jab B.

Yelp
It's a nice place by the ocean, and it's got a pretty good atmosphere, but I'd definitely recommend coming for lunch more than supper because at night it gets pretty crowded, therefore wild and loud. The service is alright, the waiters are very kind and helpful. The food is pretty good, just nothing super special. Overall a very nice dining experience.

Brad B.

Yelp
We had a few issues while dining here. First, the food was okay at best. Second, they added an extra item on one of the tickets that nearly doubled the amount. One of the meals was so bad it was barely edible. Third, we had a group of 10 but we sat at different tables and had 5 tabs. When the checks were brought out there was a 20% tip added to the total. The waitress said it was because our party was over 8 people. That's fine except we should have been told that initially when we were asked how many was in the party. I usually tip 20% anyway, but I don't like when it's forced on me. I should be able to decide the tip amount based on the service provided, not because it's policy.

Kristen S.

Yelp
Idk why every restaurant doesn't have a playground next to it kids burned energy while we had a nice dinner. Food was fantastic - fish tacos and fish sandwhich. Service was also great!

Jason S.

Yelp
We were visiting Amelia Island and wanted a local vibe. This place is it. Many seating arrangements available - indoor, outdoor open, and outdoor covered (Tiki Bar). Walking in we felt welcome and were introduced to the various seating areas. We chose the Tiki Bar as it was a beautiful day. As soon as we were seated Erin and Courtney took super care of us. The drink selection was quite extensive and the menu had many variations of seafood, chicken, burgers, and kids selections. We did not feel rushed...in fact did not want to leave as the day was nice and the service was spot on. If you are in the area give this place a shot!

Thomas S.

Yelp
Food was great but the service could use some work. Server felt like you were interfering with her day by ordering food or god forbid asking for silverware.

Chuck H.

Yelp
If it weren't for the location this place would have gone under. The food is average to below average and the service terrible. This being said, if you want to enjoy a nice beach setting, get a beer or drink this is your place. Just don't expect anything even close to great food or service.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
We needed a quick place for lunch before our Yelp event and decided on Sliders for apps. There is plentiful indoor and outdoor seating, with a view of the beautiful Fernandina Beach. We opted for bangin' shrimp and a giant pretzel, and both were perfectly tasty. My guest had a Blue Moon as well, and next time we want to commit to one of the fun tropical drinks that comes in the light up or carved coconut cups. Great live music and great service!

J L.

Yelp
Sliders has an amazing location and it's great to let kids play on the sandy playground while you eat and have an adult beverage. Lots of tables where you can see the whole playground. The food is really not great, and the service is trying its best, but sometimes really slow. Stick to pub food and you'll be ok, and expect it to be pricey- you are paying for the location.

Cheryl H.

Yelp
June 8, 2023 - party of 1 5 for bar 1 for food I decided to check out Sliders since they were a block from my Airbnb. The outdoor seating area is large with lots of tables in the sand. Live music 6:30 - 9:30 every night. Two-piece band was pretty good. The bar is on a deck with tall tables and a few seats at the actual bar. Swings are a seating option at the bar! I was too chicken to try the swings. The folks around me that did try them said it felt like they were going to slide off them. Seems like an accident waiting to happen when alcohol is involved! I had one of the June spotlight drinks - Laidback Lemonade - very refreshing! Tito's, agave, blackberry brandy and sour mix. My bar experience was a good one - great bartender Christian! Always smiling, always busy, made great drinks and had a fantastic personality! He gets the 5 stars! I ordered a sandwich to go and the food was a failure. I ordered the Catch of the Day BLT with blackened fish. I chose this because the menu said it had a fried green tomato on the sandwich. Sadly this is not what I got. My sandwich had no fried green tomato, lettuce or remoulade sauce, fish wasn't blackened, and a lot of cold, old French fries. Very disappointing. Other reviewers didn't rate the food to highly. If you're looking for a fun bar, try Slider's but I suggest you stay away from the food.

Cynthia B.

Yelp
I took my daughter there for breakfast. The waitress was nice but very chatty. We had the scoop on her moves for her life during our breakfast. It took 15 minutes to get her to the table to even get a glass of water and another 5 for her to actually leave the table to get the water. She complained about the cook but I have to say what we got was very good food. We just wanted to have a good meal and enjoy the view. She made it, so we wanted to escape. I think she was the issue, not the kitchen. Hope you go and fingers crossed you don't get the same waitress.

Craig S.

Yelp
Great location by the beach. The service was good and they were accommodating. I didn't have a big meal just a bowl of clam chowder, it was good, the portion was a bit small for a bowl and the price was a bit higher. Great atmosphere, worth stopping by for a cold beer!!!!

Fred S.

Yelp
Stevie our server was personable and fun. Came for lunch. Had the wings crispy w buffalo sauce. Big juicy wings. Flavor was more than just sauce. Came w 7 so for two people it's not fair. But my little brother is worth is so I conceded the last. Also tried the oysters. Dozen from Melbourne Fl. All the fixins. Not chewy or smelly. Definitely fresh. The Ravens or whatever they are can move along. Don't feed the birds. Will definitely be back.

Kathy C.

Yelp
Let me start out by saying I'm from CA and CA has some of the best food you can find. We now live in FL because we could no longer deal with the politics there, but it is really hard to find good food. I read the reviews about Sliders and I was a little hesitant but we went anyway. Boy were we impressed with our food. Husband had the chicken sandwich and I had the shrimp tacos. Both were delicious. In addition our waitress was wonderful. The whole place had a great vibe. I definitely recommend giving this place a try

Mary Ellen P.

Yelp
We had 3 meals here on vacation. The calamari and tuna tacos are amazing. Don't skip the key lime pie

Amanda H.

Yelp
The view and meal is amazing. Highly recommend stopping in and having a seat for a bit. The service and food was outstanding. Well- mannered Dogs are allowed on the patio. They have a wide variety of items on the menu. I enjoyed the seafood choices.

Amanda A.

Yelp
We stayed locally and we actually had both dinner and breakfast here the next day. Our experience outside on the sandy area was great. Our server was very helpful with the wine selection and food questions. Also very quick and present when needed. My husband had the Shrimp Po Boy and he was very happy with it. I had the scallops and seafood chowder; both were fantastic. We have zero complaints regarding our meal. The kids running around the table wasn't exactly ideal with the sand, but hey, that's on the parents to control. Their breakfast started at 6am and we arrived that early to see the sunrise after. We were the only patrons then, but again the food was delicious. The cheesy shrimp and grits were pretty tasty, though they weren't as cheesy as I'd like. Personal preferences. Overall we agreed it was worth trying and will be back!

Brett H.

Yelp
Walked up, no one at the hostess station, walked inside to three staff clustered at the bar, no greeting, walked back out a busboy said we could sit anywhere, gave us menus and silverware, we sat for 15 minutes as multiple waitresses looked over and didn't bother coming over. Terrible experience, food has been decent on prior visits, never again.

Nicholas W.

Yelp
The omelette was pretty good, plenty of stuffing inside. Flavor was pretty good but the star of the show was definitely the cheese grits. Hands down the best grits I have ever had! Service was excellent and the view was amazing!

Sarah H.

Yelp
Food was good but it was busy and our waitress didn't bring our appetizers so we ended up waiting and just getting entrees. They did give a free dessert since we didn't get our appetizers. It's a typical by the ocean, seafood, touristy place but we liked it.

James R.

Yelp
This is a very busy restaurant. We were seated right away and could hear the live music playing on the patio. The tables could have been cleaned better but over all the atmosphere and staff were very good. This was some of the best chowder I have ever had. Every spoonful was loaded with seafood. Crab. Oysters, clams, and fish. I recommend this. There were so many Oysters on the poboy, I left most of the bread. The fish blt was outstanding. I recommend this place. They do serve dessert but we were so full we didn't order any.

Chad H.

Yelp
Fantastic as usual. Went twice with guests this week. Music was great, food reliably good, quick seating, even with 9 people. Great drinks and a very friendly wait staff. Keep up the good work!

Maggie S.

Yelp
This place is great. Chill. I sat at the bar and just had a beer while my dog hung out below me. Very good vibe. Good food and stupendous location. Will be back!

Justin B.

Yelp
Listening to live music outside during dinner was amazing! It's really cool to have a playground option for the kids while you relax with your spouse!
