It’s fine for one night but there are far better campsites nearby for the same price. The only highlight is Alberto’s taco van which was 10/10 and the on-site coffee shop in the morning. The pitches for the tents have been ruined by camper vans driving across them and in the rain (it’s Scotland of course) the pitches are boggy. The amenities are basic (other than Alberto’s) with a freezing cold toilet and shower block with only a few showers which are filthy and have no pegs for your clothes or towel! The campsite is very exposed to the wind and next to a main road, although the scenery is beautiful.

Such a great welcome by Lewis, upon arrival, clear and concise instructions on all things necessary for a good stay. Camp ground has everything you need. Unfortunately for the staff they had a small issue with water supply this morning, but they went all out to get it fixed up fast. Great place , would highly recommend. (Lewis makes a nice coffee too)!

What a location to have a campsite. Awesome views. Gods armchair. Now the downside has to be the midges. I was so under prepared. They come at you in gangs. Staff here were great and services were clean. They are easy walk to bar and restaurant across the road, plus they have taco bar opening during evening time. If u need electric hookup, book in advance. You can also roll onto a free spot of grass and use your own facilities.

I pitched my tent here after my hike from Portree. Unfortunately, the weather turned very bad during the hike and I was soaked. The staff were very helpful and friendly to dry my clothes and offered tips for during my stay. There are washing machines, toilets, and showers which are all well maintained.

Great views and good pitches. We have a caravan and stood on a hard standing pitch with electricity. Excellent Mexican food truck on site! One star subtracted because the remodeling of the male bathrooms makes them Very wet (they boarded up the roof, but the water vapour can't go anywhere now).

Lovely location, that’s where the positives for us ended sadly. Overcrowded site more like an aire than a site so £25 felt steep. The chemical toilet empty point was the worst with no hose only a tap so the remains of paper and all sorts are all over the pan and the smell is awful. Would not recommend sadly.

I stayed at Sligachan Campsite for a week and used it as my base, and honestly, it was perfect. Such a great vibe, with really good facilities and everything you could possibly need. The staff were super friendly and helpful—special shoutout to Lewis for pointing me towards some amazing motorbike routes. The coffee was spot on too! I’ll definitely be back and can’t recommend this place enough.

Great location, lovely views and amazing tacos which is why we’ve given it 2 stars. However, absolutely atrocious basic facilities. The toilets and showers were dirty, wet and muddy. After a long day of hiking in the cold wind and rain, we were disappointed to find out that the site had no hot water at all! This was around 8/9pm. There was no sign or warning to let people know. We only found out after undressing and getting in the shower. My partner had to try finish off his shower with dribbles of water whilst the women’s showers and taps gave no hot water at all! I went to the reception and the kind gentleman doing the night shift said that someone had left a hot tap on and we had to wait for the hot water to fill up in the tank but he wasn’t sure how long it would take. The hot water was still not working this morning. Again no sign or warning to inform people of the hot water problem. We went to the reception and managed to get a refund. We spoke to other campers who said the electric hook up made the fuse go in their motorhome and the washing machines were gone too. Kind members of staff but they seemed overwhelmed with all the problems especially as there only seemed to be 1 person on site at a time. Considering how busy the campsite was, the facilities and staffing did not accommodate for the number of people there. 1 drinking water tap for the whole site is silly! For £25 a night, it is not worth your money. Busy, cramped campsite with poor facilities.
