This hotel seems like one of the better choices in this small town, especially since there weren’t many options available during our stay. Overall, it was a decent and convenient place to spend a few hours before climbing Adam’s Peak at 2am.
The room was simple but clean and acceptable for a short stay. The bathroom, however, could use some improvement — after showering, the entire space would be wet due to the lack of a curtain or partition. A small upgrade here would go a long way.
The food, available on pre-order, was okay, and we appreciated the freshly made breakfast served upon our return from the early morning hike — a thoughtful gesture. That said, the dining room felt a bit worn and lacked a comfortable atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and the location is definitely a plus: it's within easy walking distance to the trailhead for Adam’s Peak, as well as other small bars and restaurants in the area.
