A fine hostel. I liked the design of the reception and the staff was really kind. The common area inside is not very big, neither is the kitchen, and on the ground floor there are some areas where you share one toilet/shower with 2 dorms. It was a quiet hostel at the end of autumn. Fine for one night.

Provided a nice space to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable to interact with. Beds were clean and comfortable. Washrooms also well maintained. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Lyon.

Basic hostel, no curtains in beds, no A/C or fans and if your roomies like to sleep hot it is rough. Curtains are a cheap and easy upgrade, would be a nice improvement. Facilities decent, the staff are the highlight, helpful and kind.

I chose the mixed room, and the people I had to share it with were extremely weird, but I guess that's the crowd you get in hostels; it didn't bother me that much. The bathrooms were sometimes very filthy, but it was quickly solved, and the service at the hostel was very good. The breakfast wasn't spectacular, but everything was overall okay.

I stayed there for two nights. I was in the common area with the girls. It was noisy both nights. Your shared bed and the entire room are completely unprotected from otherworldly noise. On the first night, when I fell asleep after midnight, someone kept slamming the door in the hallway, and the sound woke up our entire room. It was very unpleasant because you'd fall asleep and then wake up again. On the second night, one of the guests was talking loudly on the phone in the hallway after midnight. I had to go and ask the person to be quieter. I think silence is very important in these kinds of hostels. I hope you can think about this and how to make the space more soundproof. Overall, they have a living room where you can work, decent internet, and free snacks and coffee. But for me, it was important to stay quiet while I slept. Unfortunately, I didn't feel that after two nights. I doubt I'll stay there again. Also, the room didn't smell very fresh, and the area where the hostel is located isn't the most pleasant.

My booking was for a different location with the same hostel name. The receptionist contacted a colleague and arranged for me to stay in a room at my current location, as it was 2 AM. The staff was excellent. Thank you.

The staff is nice and the place is decent like any hostel. However the biggest issue is the location. I found out later that it’s located in one of the “dangerous” parts of Lyon. As a solo female traveller I did not feel safe as there are a lot of North African/African men in that area hanging out in groups and I got cat called during the day. I can’t imagine how it is at night and didn’t want to find out. So I immediately booked to stay in a another hostel in a different area. I wouldn’t recommend for solo female travellers especially if you are planning on arriving or going out at night. Make sure to book a refundable room so you can get a refund in case you also don’t feel safe in the area! It’s a pity since the staff was nice and the actual hostel is not bad.

I spent one night here, I preferred this hodge due to its location close to the Part Dieu where there is an airport train connection (Rhone express). Also there is a very close tram station where u can take the T1 tram and reach Part Dieu within 10 minutes. Overall the rooms were fine with a very suitable location.
