The staff is nice and the place is decent like any hostel. However the biggest issue is the location. As a solo female traveller I did not feel safe as there are a lot of North African/African men in that area and I got cat called during the day. I can’t imagine how it is at night. So I immediately booked to stay in a hostel in a different area. I wouldn’t recommend for solo female travellers especially if you are planning on arriving at night. Make sure to book a refundable room so you can get a refund! It’s a pity since the staff was nice and the actual hostel is not bad

I spent one night here, I preferred this hodge due to its location close to the Part Dieu where there is an airport train connection (Rhone express). Also there is a very close tram station where u can take the T1 tram and reach Part Dieu within 10 minutes. Overall the rooms were fine with a very suitable location.

A beautiful and quiet hostel in downtown, walkable to all neighborhoods, close to 2 metro lines and 1 tram and nice restaurants near Liberte and Foch. Very clean rooms and shared bathrooms. The hostel neighbors the middle east shops, if you find the metro station area seem unsafe at night, take the north west route to downtown/old town.

very friendly and kind personnel, cool environment, the room had the right temperature, always hot water available. The sheets were clean. The common WC is not the best choice but what to do in a hostel...

Tidy and clean rooms, the common area is really nice, the staff is friendly and super helpful. The beautiful riverside on the Rhone is just at 5 min walk and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

Good service bringing you to the room. However the dorm beds were creaky and unstable. It lifted off the floor when I climbed up to my bunk. Not in a good area of town if venturing out at night.

I stayed in this hostel for 2 nights in a female dorm. The upper bunckbeds did not have curtains. If someone turns on the light at 1am you are awake. Otherwise the rooks were nice and clean. There was a place to store your stuff with your own padlock. ||There was not many bathrooms but they were pretty clean but very cold. ||The breakfast was very sad. For two days I had to ask to get bread and coffee because the guy from the reception was more into his phone than refilling the buffet. There was one sort of cheap cheese and ham. Two different jams. That was it. Very disapointing for 10€. I was hoping for more.

Very good quality-price hostel! Biggest advantage was the 15 min by foot walk to the center of Lyon. Be careful although it’s close to La Guillotière neighborhood that you want to avoid.
