Amazing jagodzianka (blueberry pastry) and poziomeczka (wild-ish strawberry) were absolutely top notch. Prices may not be the lowest, but I assure you, they'll worth it. Polish blueberries (as in European vs North American) are smaller, way more flavorful, so if pastries with them are in season, you gotta try it, and this is the spot to go! As far as "poziomka", it's a wild berry, similar to strawberry, but smaller and with a very unique flavor. Also a must-try in the summer in Poland.

Nice bakery with old school desserts and design. We tried jagodzianka and I should say it didn’t meet our expectations (but they were pretty high considering the price of 34 zł - the most expensive jadodzianka we tried). It is very sweet with sugar powder on top (which I would prefer to be optional, since the bun is too sweet with it), the filling was good, but I’m other places I saw cheaper buns with more berries in it. But I didn’t regret trying it :)

Great cakes. And wonderful Christmas spirit around the holidays. The smell inside is mesmerizing.

A cozy place with a nice atmosphere. The dishes are really tasty, and the service is excellent. The pastries are good, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, a pleasant experience and worth a visit.

We loved both Jagodzianka (blueberry cake) and Jagodowe gniazdo (blueberry pie)! Their pastries are a bit pricey (32-34zl) but definitely worth it. Their coffees were also very good.

I had such a wonderful experience at this cake shop! I bought a cake here and it turned out to be absolutely amazing — honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The flavor was rich and perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that you could really taste. The texture was soft and moist, and the decoration was beautiful, showing the care and skill that went into making it. The staff were also very kind and helpful, making the whole visit pleasant from start to finish. This place is a gem for anyone who loves delicious desserts, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their cakes and pastries. Highly recommended!

I recently visited this bakery during my trip to Warsaw as I heard so many good things about it. Living abroad, I was craving a Jagodzianka and was thrilled to find it there. The one I had was incredibly crispy, fresh, and bursting with a generous amount of blueberries. It's safe to say it was the best Jagodzianka I've ever tasted from a bakery. The interior design of the bakery is wonderfully colorful and inviting. However, it's worth noting that the prices are quite steep; I paid 28 zl for a small piece of Jagodzianka, and the cakes could easily run into the hundreds of zloty. It's a delightful treat, but definitely not an everyday indulgence…

Yelp
I visited with a friend who was raving about one of their cakes (he couldn't remember the name). Unfortunately it wasn't available as they rotate their creations on a seasonal basis. No matter, there were plenty of other options. A smaller, cozy spot that starts with the sweet/Bakery and coffee options. Sometimes the line goes out the door. There are some tables in the back and more on the second floor. The deco and furniture are from a time gone by which elevated the experience. First visit, we got a Cappuccino and a Blueberry/Strawberry Chocolate Torte. Amazing. Came back for dinner on a Sunday evening around 7. Surprisingly, quite with just another table occupied. Ordered 2 starters and they were enough although the entrees sounded good. The Potato Pancakes topped with Smoked Salmon and Caviar were delicious! The Beef Tartare was also a memorable dish. Not many food/savory options but clear they focus on quality vs quantity. Don't miss this gem that has a plethora of irresistible desserts with under the radar lunch/dinner options.

Yelp
Not a good experience at this famous Magda Gessler restaurant ! We ordered the Silesian Dumplings with Mushrooms & we were very disappointed About a year we ordered this same dish & it was fantastic with homemade egg noodles & lots of mushrooms , about 40% delicious Forest mushrooms. This time it was terrible, there were only a few little mushrooms , about 5% or less & giant potato dumpling balls . Terrible change since last year If I wanted potato balls dumplings only I could make them at home & for 20 USD ! Next we ordered a cake as we saw several other people order the same cake , a strawberry chocolate marzipan combination. But when our cake came that we were going to share it was half the size of the other people & the examples in the glass display case in the front of the establishment. I complained to the Waitress & her response was that the other people were just lucky to get a bigger piece of cake I hope the famous Magda Gessler can read this as she apparently prides herself in having good restaurants, & can make the necessary changes that need to be made !

Yelp
What a little treasure! Not only is this a bakery, but you can order food as well. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Romantic theme, flowers everywhere, murals, chandeliers - very thoughtfully put together. Money was no object. Our coffee was delicious, and the dessert 'Beza' (meringue) with fresh whipped cream and strawberries - is a staple dessert in Polish cafes, is a must, and was heavenly. Service was a bit hectic. The ladies behind the counter seemed stressed, it showed and came across as we needed to hurry placing an order, or move over. The place was busy. Once we sat down our waitress was lovely.

Yelp

Yelp
Yum yum yum I had just pastries and coffee from here multiple times. I've also had lunch. I've NEVER been disappointed. Thus far I have not tried the cakes. I always return when I come back in town for work. I even have them pack treats up for my staff in Warsaw. Recently I tried the plum filled mini pastries. I was left speechless. When in Warsaw I definitely think you should give them a try.

Yelp
Very good cakes but nothing out of this world as some other fellow yelpers suggested. I had much better cakes in several places in Buenos Aires, for example. Also service was not bad at all, others complained a lot about that. And yes, very expensive.

Yelp
This place has been high on my favorites list for many years now. It is not cheap but well worth it. I love their plum pastry that they always have during the summer. The cheesecake is wonderful and delicate as are other fruit pastries. This is the place to visit if you really want to treat yourself to a delicious dessert in a beautiful environment.
