Food is great here. I’m sorry that I didn’t get pictures of the food. However, the location at the base of the mountain is excellent if you happen to have lodging nearby or want fun/good access for aprés. It attracts locals and tourists, which is sways s good sign. Burgers are delicious and service is friendly. Even though we were there during Presidents Day Weekend we were treated well and responsively. I am certain is not a favorite weekend for staff. Follow the signs and use the QR code for the menu and then order at the bar. It us a chill spot with TVs for sports and not as expensive as most places in Steamboat or other mountain towns.

Google
Best gluten free pizza I have ever had. Not a close second to this pretzel like gluten free pizza. Also had a burger on gluten free bread and it was incredible l!!!

Jeff Gelber

Google
A convenient location for skiers as it's at the base and is ski-in, ski-out, but even for a mountain restaurant it wasn't great. It was overly hectic at lunchtime. The pastrami on the Reuben was super fatty and salty. You have to get up to place your order but they deliver the food to you.

Joe Rottman

Google
Great pizza and beer ! The payment process is a little weird (food and drinks are paid separately, and there is no table service), but beyond that, it's a fabulous "slope side" place for food and drinks! I'd highly recommend the pizza.

Rachel

Google
I can’t comment on the food but this place is right off the slopes. Everyone grabs a plastic chair and sits out on the snow in the sunlight. The drink list is less extensive than other places but it’s nice to grab a beer and chill in the sun after a long day of skiing. Definitely recommend visiting.

I was very excited about going to Slopeside Room in Vail with friends. Our appetizers were spectacular both the best and beef salad and the heirloom cornbread were exceptional. The Pork chops that most of the table had disappeared in a flash. I chose the New York Strip and I wish I had stayed with everyone else. I ordered the steak medium rare and it was at best medium. The flavor was really good but the texture was somewhat chewy. The sides were again great And the apple pear crisp was delicious. We will come back and next time I'll stay with the rest of the table.

Google
Came here for a late night feed. We ordered the pizza and a salad. The salad was plain and seemed to come out of a packet. The dressing was sweet. Luckily, we didn't come here for the salad. We just felt we needed some healthy food with dinner. The pizza was very good, and the addition of parmesan and chilli flake to it to the next level. From the perfectly cooked base, super tasty sauce, and fresh toppings, the pizza really hit the spot. I know it maybe off season but only having food runners meant you had to do everything yourself from drinks to cutlery, plates, and condiments. This was the only downside for the dinner.

Google
Great atmosphere and a great view. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The spinach artichoke dip was amazing! The pizzas are also delicious. Only complaint was the ordering system.

Natalie M.

Yelp
Slopeside is the best! Great food, a good drink menu and amazing staff. Bartender Haley was awesome. There's ample seating outside and inside and has great music. definitely have to stop by if you're in steamboat!

Samantha B.

Yelp
Loved that we could see the ski slope out the window, very much a sports bar. Food was delicious and fresh, also quick. You order at the bar with bartender and they deliver food at tables.

Samantha Q.

Yelp
This spot is super cute & in a great location after skiing all afternoon. We sat at the outside bar and loved watching everyone skiing/snowboarding off the mountains. The staff were super friendly and service was great. Drank a root beer and had a kids pepperoni pizza which was the perfect size for me.

Abbey T.

Yelp
best pizza since leaving the east coast! at the base of the mountain and doesn't charge mountain prices, even better. great service top off a great experience. Live music on the weekend too, can't ask for more than that

Kay P.

Yelp
Slopeside is great as always. Great for a quick beer or for a delicious lunch before hitting the slopes again. Always visit multiple times when we are in Steamboat.

Shauna B.

Yelp
One of our favorite lunch places in Steamboat. Pizza is great! Staff was helpful as well!

Julia A.

Yelp
We loved slopeside grill! We brought a big group and there was something for everyone- even the kids! The restaurant is in the most beautiful place- you'll be surrounded by mountains. Food was great. Service was great. Only downside- we ate outside and had to go order at the bar. Also had to take our drinks to the bar to get filled up. Kind of a weird system, but worth it!

Alex L.

Yelp
Solid food, solid service and wonderful staff! We came on the recommendation from a friend and the patio dining certainly did not disappoint. Ordered a Mediterranean salad, Yard Sale pizza and a Storm Peak IPA. The pizza came out extremely quick and certainly hit the spot after spending 3.5 hours in the car battling Labor Day drivers! Taste and temperature were spot on. Pizza came out a bit soggy on some parts but nothing bad or greasy and the remaining ingredients on top stayed in place from bite to bite. Would recommend joining right before the dinner rush or after. They get busy and packed quickly. We sat outside on the patio right next to the bar. The bartenders had many repeat customers. I could tell they recognized many of the patrons and balanced out socializing with serving up drinks to everyone seated with them. The experience, food and service warrant a return trip!

Courtney G.

Yelp
Great spot after the slopes. We had the chicken pot pie and a wrap. Kids had the double cookie with ice cream dessert Gets busy but a good view and beer.

David W.

Yelp
You could stop 3 people occupying a table for 7-8 at 5:30 pm. No wait staff is a definite---. You mean she'd be ur boss n a full party of 7 wanting to eat AND drink. This has been out go to summer guest eat out place-- not now. Change the atmosphere and we will return

Rj Z.

Yelp
Food was good. It's was mud season so no staff but a busy bar with lots of tourists from other states very very drunk and vomit all around.

Ron C.

Yelp
When I was in Steamboat Springs I came by for dinner with a couple of people and enjoyed the experience. The food here is solid but if you sit outside you have to order food and drinks at the bar. A food runner will bring your food to you but you need to get your drinks at the bar. I think this set up sucks personally, but it is what it is.

Sherry W.

Yelp
Grab drinks and pizza at the end of the day! We also had the spinach dip appetizer with focaccia and vegetables

Dean W.

Yelp
Great spot at the base of the mountain - I walked in to order a pizza to go - and enjoyed a brew while waiting - pizza came out before I finished my beer! Have enjoyed many meals at Slopeside over the years of visiting Steamboat

Ellis M.

Yelp
Really good burgers! The slope sauce is excellent! Make sure to get extra to dip your fries. Relaxed atmosphere with gorgeous views.

Tiffany N.

Yelp
Gotta admit, I was a bit weary when my friend recommended this place. Don't let the reviews fool you, this is a solid stop for pizza in Steamboat! We love pizza, beer and bringing our pup with us so this was the logical stop for dinner the first night we visited. We were sat right away and from there everything was a pleasant experience! Service was quick with a pitcher of beer coming out quickly followed by the Mediterranean salad and then Yard Sale pizza. We joined the clean plate club with a little help from our pup! The vibe at the bar started to get a little bro towards the end and that was annoying but all in all, a fantastic experience and perfect patio to enjoy some drinks and food with your human or canine!

Lynn W.

Yelp
Best pizza on the mountain!! And always quick and friendly staff. Was here during MusicFest - highly recommend!!

Amanda C.

Yelp
I went to Slopeside Grill with my family this past week. We had a great time. I was very happy to be there because it was a spot my Dad loved when he was around my age. It was really cool getting to go back there with him. The service was amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The pizza was outstanding and just what we wanted after a long day of skiing. The atmosphere was excellent and I'll definitely go back anytime I'm in Steamboat in the future!

Amber E.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch - not right in Steamboat Square; easiest to ski in from the green run on the way to Christi's lift or the gondolas. Good salads, burgers, pizzas and sandwiches. Our pizza was surprisingly good!

Jimmy F.

Yelp
Service and servers were terrible especially brunette male who spent his whole time flirting with the girls at the bar

Jack C.

Yelp
Wooooo!!! Skiing, music, food, and libations for all!! We always enjoy hitting up Slopeside Grill when we are in Steamboat Springs for MusicFest. Robynn S plays the festival every year and this year Slopeside was an official venue for the festival. They have burgers, wings, and some of the tastiest pizza on the mountain! The waitstaff is always awesome and it's a great place to watch live music and chill after a day on the slopes! So, next time you're in Steamboat hitting that fresh powder, don't forget to stop by Slopeside for a meal and some thirst quenching drinks. Tell 'em Mr. Smidgens sent ya!

Turner B.

Yelp
Good food but some of their outdoor seating requires you to order at the bar - for both food and drink. While I understand Slopeside may not have the staffing to wait on each table, there's seemingly no good reason that they wouldn't use an online platform so that you can order on your phone...instead, you're stuck standing in line for 15 minutes to place your order each time.

Zack M.

Yelp
Love this place - my friend who I was visiting recommended we go here for dinner and made us a reservation (which was very helpful as it was packed for dinner time). The server was constantly checking on us even though it was packed and the food came out quickly. They had an great selection of beers on draft and all the food that came out looked amazing. Definitely left here stuffed, happy, and a little more drunk than I thought because of the altitude.

Coleman O.

Yelp
We stopped by Slopeside Grill several times while skiing down Steamboat mountain. It is located right at the base of the mountain with a convenient access while skiing. You just ski right up, kick your skis off and walk in the door! And they have a nice selection of craft beers and hot toddies! Super nice! I ordered the Spiced Cider, and the kiddos ordered Hot Chocolate. For meals we ordered Chicken Tenders, BLT, and Pizza. Everything was on point, the tenders were a big hit, the BLT was delicious and the Pizza was Brick Oven perfection. And the service was excellent. Just a great place to warm up and rest during a day of extraordinary skiing!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Lucille L.

Yelp
The location can't be beat! Absolutely stunning view of the mountain. The pizza was a bit over cooked on one side (black to be precise). The bacon ranch cheese fries were good. Service was excellent and quick! Great place to grab a drink. We'll be back for dessert!

David T.

Yelp
I guess I shouldn't expect better for something right by the slopes. It's there for one time tourist visits. The service was excellent. Good beer selection. But the burger which I order medium rare came out well done. When they did it again it came out medium well. At that point I gave up and worked my way through it. If you don't mind very overcooked food, then it's fine.

Daniel B.

Yelp
Nice to be able to sit on the grass near the restaurant and get great service from Beth & Matt for Sunday Brunch with live music close by. Chicken & Waffles was the best I've ever had. See you again soon!

Matt W.

Yelp
Slopeside grill at the base of steamboat mountain is a popular spot where they have a good happy hour, decent food, music pumping and a party type vibe. Of course, the prices are high for what the food is but it's slope side food, you just want something quick, hot and edible. We stopped here twice during our stay in steamboat. Both times we were seated quickly, the service was good and fast and the food was tasty enough. We got the pizza and that was a little oily for my liking. It's just okay pizza, nothing to write home about. We also got the spinach and artichoke dip. This was good and cheesy. Nice slices of bread come with It to dip along with carrots and celery. The boneless dry rub wings are good and taste a little sweet. The special sauce that they have is lovely! Finally the quesadilla was nice. Loads of food, good cheese and very filling. The hostesses and servers were polite, attentive and fast. Overall, you can't complain about Slopeside food. This is place is good enough for a few drinks and food. Enjoy sitting outside in the sun watching the skiers head down the mountain!

Cassandra C.

Yelp
We stopped here for a quick bite after a run on the slopes. It was freezing! But thankfully we snagged a seat under the heater. Seats are first come first serve and outdoors only. I ordered a quesadilla - it was DELICIOUS! Hot, piping, cheesy and gooey. It came with a cilantro lime crema and salsa. More than enough for me to take back to the hotel with leftovers. Service was fast and food was good!

Tasha J.

Yelp
As far as on the mountain places go, you can't go wrong with Slopeside. It's great year round and always a solid choice for happy hour. My most recent visit during the summer was awesome because the seating outside in the grass. Full table service with the ability for the kids to go play in the stream. It was relaxing, had a great playlist and the food was awesome as usual. We got a cheese pizza for the kids and I ordered the western burger with a side of fries. For the price of $16.99 the fries really should have been included but they were delish nonetheless. Happy hour here is my jam, try it out for yourself!!

Tes S.

Yelp
All week long we've been hanging at Slopeside, chilling outside (yes they have some heaters for those colder ski days) and enjoying their refreshments after a day on the mountain! Today though we caved and tried their pizza... UM delish! Give it a try!

Stephanie H.

Yelp
We made a reservation probably 4 months out from our Spring Break trip to Steamboat. Knowing that Slopeside is dog-friendly, we were excited to bring the entire family. When we arrived, we let them know that we had our dogs with us, so we sat outside, but with no service outside, we had to order at the bar inside. My husband and daughter went inside to order, and I stayed outside with the dogs. I waited outside for over 30 minutes. There were 2 servers at the bar taking orders, and they could not have cared less. When it was our turn to place the order, the waiter actually said, "What?!". Not - "Can I help you?" Terrible. Would never go back!

fantasy t.

Yelp
Really good experience at Slopeside Grill while staying on the mountain. They were busy when we went but the hostess was able to make a couple of tables work for our party of nine. Our waiter (I didn't catch his name) was friendly and on top of everything. My favorite was the spinach/artichoke dip with toasted bread and Swiss mushroom burger.

Andrew S.

Yelp
Ugh Where do I begin... First, we have an apreol knock off and then they forced me to drink 7 spritzes. Ugh. Ambiance as meh, akin to grandmas house the day after Christmas (no thank you). Servers meh. I was literally leading the party (go figure). Meh, back to my 8th "aperol spritz". Take me back to Lake Como

Matt H.

Yelp
6pm reservation, 20min wait, very rude front of house, was a regular 15 years ago when I lived here, this place has changed...

Linda C.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in at Slopeside Grill for a sunset cocktail. We were immediately waited upon by Trish who is a master bartender! She served me the best blueberry vodka cocktail I have ever had, and was so much fun to talk to. Love her enthusiasm for all things Steamboat Springs! Wishing we hadn't already eaten our dinner because the menu here looked fantastic!

Daniel G.

Yelp
Great restaurant, delicious food, fantastic service!!! Beth waited on our family this evening and she was so friendly and super helpful recommending some of her favorite dishes. Will definitely be back. A++++++.

Sarah H.

Yelp
I feel bad giving a 3 star review but I didn't love the food. Our server was super nice. I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap. I love Buffalo everything and usually a Buffalo wrap Is something I enjoy regardless of where I'm dining. I did finish it, but it was disappointing. It was an unusual Buffalo sauce that I didn't like. The views were super pretty though, and this restaurant was walkable distance from our rental.

Anne Marie O.

Yelp
Yumm! Great food after a long day of skiing! Staff was friendly and their sauces are great!

St C.

Yelp
Went here after a couple of days of boarding Steamboat during Springalicious 2021 and enjoyed some beers as the kids played on the rocks next to our table. Order beers and food from the counter and then sit outside and enjoy the mountain. The second day we were there relaxing, we found that someone had taken my sister-in-laws ski rentals. We went in and Brittany was there and took our number if there were skiis left that evening, because there was another pair that was similar to hers and thought it was mistaken identity. That evening, Brittany called us to let us know there were some skiis left. She didn't have to do this and we appreciate the hard work of the employees of Slopeside Grill and the atmosphere here.

Wendy T.

Yelp
Awesome pizza!!! Hubby & I stopped in for pizza as recommended by friends whom visit Steamboat often. We ordered the yard house pizza. The crust was perfect & crunchy! There were 8 slices. They weren't huge but just enough for us to share. We sat outside on the patio and were glad it was not busy as it was very relaxing!

Bri L.

Yelp
Horrible experience. We got reservations two hours in advance, showed up and were told 15 minutes. We waited and were told 30 minutes. We waited again and were told we were next. Low and behold, 30 minutes later we are told that they don't have the staff to seat us. What bull. It's now been four hours since we initially placed our reservation and nearly two hours since we were told "15 more minutes." This place used to really be something. Now, it's under new management it's really gone downhill (no pun intended). If you don't want to waste your evening standing around in ski boots, I suggest going literally anywhere else on the hill or off.

Michael W.

Yelp
Wonderful meal. Great service from beginning to end. Great food. One of the best meals we have had in steamboat. We have four children so if you have kids it's a great place as they have good food options for them and plenty of TVs to entertain them. Also, food was quick and very good with a very reasonable price point.

Christina S.

Yelp
The hostess had incredible customer service last night. Very communicative and accommodating! Please let her know how welcomed she made us feel!

Brett D.

Yelp
Ordered four corners pizza and a bowl of chicken chili. The pizza was excellent as was the chili. Location is great , service was good too.

Pete S.

Yelp
I've had better food on a spirt airline flight. Tasted like warm trash mixed with spoiled milk!

Lori H.

Yelp
Went here for lunch. Enjoyed the John Daly drink. We had the pretzels with queso for an app. It was okay. Queso was really hot but pretzel wasn't. We split the turkey club with avocado and fries. For $3.50 additional cost for the avocado, you did not get very much. I would skip it next time. Fries were good.

Carly W.

Yelp
Slopeside has the right idea: ski in, grab lunch, have a beer, ski out. Such an awesome concept and they are in a great spot to make this work. After a couple runs I was feeling particularly hungry, so I skied up and grabbed a seat on the patio. The patio had over-head heat lamps and also radiant heating in the floor to keep the ice away. That was a nice touch for my tired legs. I really enjoyed the location! Being able to watch people come off the mountain was great and still being close enough to head back up made it even better. My waitress/hostess was super attentive and friendly. I chose the Morningside as a calzone (guess it was a calzone kinda weekend!) and an Angry Orchard draft for my lunch. My calzone was HUGE! Totally wish I had a friend with me to split that beast... But I made a pretty decent dent in it on my own. The jalapenos were a great touch to what is already my favorite pizza combinations. Prices were right about where I expected... Ski resort style. I def didn't head back to the slopes hungry!

Nick H.

Yelp
Great stop on the slopes for lunch and drinks. Fun place. Fast service. Good time! Worth the stop
