Slottsträdgårdens Kafé

This place was crazy busy and if you were planning ahead instead of just wandering around, you would make a reservation ahead of time. We were just enjoying the park and heard live music. Before we knew it, we were relaxing in a greenhouse enjoying a delicious Swedish meal. It must have been fate. The friendly staff helped us when we were clearly foreigners who only marginally knew what we were doing. My guess is that this is a popular location for both visitors and locals alike based on the crowd during a weekday evening. Very high quality food, live music, all within a picturesque garden? Yes please! My favorite meal this trip. Be sure to spend time walking through the garden!

I visited Slottsträdgårdens Kafé for a peaceful lunch with my husband and our dog, enjoying a lovely set menu and almond sliced cake (65 kr) in a beautiful, flower-filled setting. However, we were surrounded by bees as soon as we sat down. My husband tried to distract them with the cake, but even after moving to a different spot, they lingered. It was hard to relax, as we spent more time keeping our dog calm and waving away bees than enjoying the meal. While the atmosphere was great, it wasn't the peaceful experience we hoped for.

The café is beautifully situated in the castle gardens, offering many organic, vegetarian, and vegan options. Events are occasionally organised here as well. The staff are friendly, and there are charming garden tables for sunny days, along with indoor seating. It’s an ideal stop during a visit to the castle gardens. Downside: prices are on the high side.

Very nice cafe/restaurant in heart of the garden. Good drinks and lovely food. It is a self-service cafe, sometimes the queue to order is quite long. The food was very tasty, we really enjoyed it. Be careful for the birds, they can steal your food. Perfect place for sunny days! Must visit place.

We went on Sunday but was full. Luckily we had time to go yesterday and we had the time of our life best cinnamon bun and delicious prawn and salmon sandwiches. The young woman in the cashier help us choose and it was the best! 100% recommended

Weather was perfect on a Wednesday and we couldn't have picked a better spot. We had an informal work meeting planned and ended up spending most of the day here. Started with coffee and fruit Tartelettes early. Lunch was Chicken Caesar salads and Shrimp Smorrebord. Both were excellent and the Shrimp Sandwich Dlx was especially good & was loaded with shrimp. We enjoyed the atmosphere so much we decided to stay after our meeting for wine. We had Crudo (Italian Organic white) not as sweet as a Riesling-we all agreed that we will be looking for it at the wine store. Watch out for the crows/birds and don't leave any food you want unattended or you'll be "feeding the birds." You order at the counter and pick up cold food and prepped food is served by number. You can take a walk in the garden and park or visit the castle around the corner. Overall, friendly staff with great food & wonderful place to be on a beautiful day!

CHARMING! take a nice peaceful walk ali g the river and all of a sudden you find yourself in the most sweetest garden with the cutest cafe! Share a bottle of white wine and a few pastries you won't be disappointed

We saw this by chance to see Slottsmöllan , we admired the wildflowers along the garden , we found the green house closed , incredibly by chance we met the owner and she invited us the next day. We loved the place , it's vegan , homegrown herbs from its garden, totally organic , and most importantly there's a non smoking sign . Totally a must see and taste cafe shop in Malmo.

So cozy in the summer time! Take a stroll in gardens and then order a cappuccino and a croissant ! If the weather is a bit nippy you can always take a seat in the green house.

Great place! Sit down and look at the things growing in the garden around you. Great ambiance with the entire park around you. Very swedish experience. Go here when it is summer and warm.
