I’ve been coming to this cafe since the day it opened, and it has stayed consistently amazing. The pastries are always fresh, the coffee and lattes are great, and the staff greet you with a warmth that makes the place feel comforting. The atmosphere is cozy year-round, and their winter and Christmas decorations are always beautifully done. My favorite drink here is the Strawberry Matcha Latte, and nothing I’ve had anywhere else even comes close. Their pastries are exceptional too, especially the vanilla roll, almond croissant, financier, and matcha cookie. Every visit feels like a treat. This is a cafe I genuinely look forward to every time.

Came here on a weekday morning for breakfast, and it was already full of people! You could see everyone chatting, eating, working, or even studying such a lively vibe. The space is average in size but nicely designed with a cute aesthetic. The pastries were surprisingly big and filling! The croissant was super crispy, though it was served cold. The berry dessert was delicious, and both drinks we ordered were great too. I especially loved my matcha I’m usually not a big fan of matcha or foamy drinks, but this one really hit the spot! It’s a little pricey but definitely worth the quality! Amazing customer service too!

I’ve been wanting to try this relatively new cafe for a while. Finally made my way here on a chilly windy December day. The atmosphere is clean, minimalist, and open. The floor to ceiling windows let in light and I do like the glass kitchen walls through which you can see some of the baking action. They had a handful of seats and a bench with small attached tables, and wifi. However, the air inside was very chilly; all the customers kept their winter coats on and I could hear the wind squealing through the windows. More heat and insulation would make the space feel a lot cozier! I had a plain croissant and a matcha latte. As others have noted, the matcha is fantastic! not too sweet and very smooth, albeit a bit pricey at $6.50. The croissant was large, well-laminated and well-baked, but I found the flavour a bit lacking, almost neutral tasting. I would have liked a more buttery flavour and a hint of salt. Overall a nice cafe, well made pastries, and with room to improve!

Slow Bite was a great experience! The service was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. I absolutely loved the cinnamon roll—soft, warm, and perfectly sweet. The chocolate coffee pound cake was rich and delicious, and the vanilla latte was smooth and flavorful. Everything was excellent, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

A small lovely coffee shop, when I came there was no seats left, quite popular. We had a matcha latte and hot chocolate to go, a brownie bomb and matcha cookie. Everything was quite decent.

Cute cafe that’s a little tucked away at Yonge & Sheppard. I got the iced Strawberry Matcha and loved the taste of both the strawberry purée and the matcha. At other cafes, the matcha flavour is often quite weak in a drink like this, but the balance was perfect at Slow Bite! Make sure you mix it up a bit as the strawberry purée is a tad sweet. There’s also a decent number of seating inside and outside on their patio! Patio is dog-friendly :)

I went in hoping to get the croissant sandwich, but it was sold out, so I tried the prosciutto focaccia sandwich instead. The prosciutto, cheese, and arugula were nicely balanced, and the focaccia had a soft, good texture. I’ll go back tomorrow to try the croissant sandwich. I also bought the vanilla roll my friend recommended, and it was really good.

One of my favourite cafe in Toronto! Great vibes, friendly staff and good pastries! I really liked the strawberry matcha and croissant. Also the mushroom & cheese danish was so delicious. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I made my first visit to this bakery on a Saturday just before 10AM. They have a nice outdoor seating area and also indoor seating. It's a nice bright and very clean space. It wasn't too busy (probably because this shop is new) but people were coming and going. They had soft music playing. It's a great place to meet a friend and catch up or to read or do work on a laptop. I ordered a vanilla late with soy milk. It was about $7. It was a really good latte. I will be back. I'm vegan so I didn't try any of their food but everything looked really delicious.

Yelp
Beautiful little corner coffee shop with lots of foot traffic from offices in the area. Parking is $20 max per day (Service Canada building parking lot) We shared the following: - Mortadella Sandwich - Sausage Roll - Pistachio Croissant - Matcha Latte The sandwich was actually quite ginormous! It was very nice of them to cut it in half for us without even asking. Thank you ^^ Everything was very yummy, especially the Mortadella Sandwich (it was so loaded!)

Yelp
Second time coming back, and honestly, it was even better than the first. The croissant was super flaky and buttery--exactly how it should be. The atmosphere is great too; not overly loud, so you can actually get some work or studying done if you want. I ordered a strawberry matcha latte and totally forgot to ask for oat milk. I went back up to the counter to see if they could remake it and told them I'd pay for the new one. Ed was the one who helped me, and he remade it without charging me. I was shocked! He was so generous and accommodating! The drink turned out really smooth and not overly sweet, just perfect. Overall, a great experience. The only downfall is that there's no free parking! Boo hoo! Other than that, I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Slow Bite Bakery located right at Sheppard and Doris on the ground level of a big office building is a cafe that is currently in soft opening. They only open from Monday to Friday at 8am right now and are closed during the weekends. They offer a variety of caffeinated and non-caffeinated beverages as well as a variety of croissants, danishes, sandwiches, and baked items throughout the day, which are made in house. I stopped by Slow Bite on a Friday morning around opening time. The place wasn't busy and the pastry display wasn't fully stocked yet but I grabbed a cortado and a ham and cheese danish. The space is clean and minimalistic, where there is some seating to enjoy your items. The space reminded me a little bit of another coffee shop in Toronto. In terms of the coffee, it was made well. My danish tasted great - I loved that even though it was a simple ham and cheese danish, there was actually some tomato sauce which made it taste like a pizza. Service wise, the staff were friendly and eager to answer any questions I had. My coffee was made at a reasonable time. Overall, cute new place for coffee and pastries in the neighbourhood! Definitely will be returning for more!! Hope that they will open on the weekends in the future as well.
