Slow Home Apartments

I STRONGLY advise against booking this accommodation. The host and owner, Jorge, was rude, uncooperative, argumentative and unprofessional. What should have been a simple check-in turned into a ridiculous back-and-forth where he refused to provide the check-in details in writing and instead insisted on unnecessary phone calls and off-platform WhatsApp communication of a very poor and inappropriate character. He kept on refusing to provide straightforward confirmation of check-in details in writing, while I was making reasonable, standard requests. Despite me clearly stating multiple times that I could not and did not want calls, he kept pressuring me and even claimed that me wanting a check-in after 6pm was an “impossible to fulfill request.” His written communication was rude and dismissive, blaming me for simply trying to arrange a check-in by accusing me of having “impossible expectations.” This behavior was harassing, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. I was forced to block him on WhatsApp. He views me asking him to stop harassing me and that I would submit a complaint regarding his behavior as a threat. Jorge should understand that this is the reality not a threat but explaining to you the actual situation you have created based off of your own actions. It seems he has not been able to learn how to communicate in a professional manner. Ultimately, he cancelled my booking a couple of days before my stay after creating an extremely stressful and hostile situation. No guest should ever have to go through this, and I cannot understand why anyone in hospitality would behave this way. A guest should never feel unsafe, pressured, or disrespected when arranging something so basic as a check-in. I have reported this as a safety concern to Booking.com, and I do not believe this property is a safe or trustworthy option based on Jorge’s behavior.

The apartment is in a very good location - close to the beach. Jorge recommended us some great restaurants, but you need to make a reservation in advance. There is a bakery right next to the apartment where you can buy fresh bread every day. The apartment is well equipped, clean, although some things could use some renovation.

Lovely place! I stayed with my partner here during our honeymoon and felt like I was at home. The owner spreads positive vibes and everything was top notch. Will definitely book here again if I ever find myself around Valencia!

Great, modern and clean apartment close to the beach, bus into town and local shops. The beds and pillows were very comfortable! We had 2 adults and 2 teens with plenty of space! Crunch folded out into bed and 1 queen or 2 single beds in loft. Queen bed on main level. Clothes washing facility on ground level-very fast to wash but dryer takes a while so might be best to hang dry. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly and helpful manager as well!

Everything was perfect. Jorge was very attentive, making communication incredibly easy and pleasant. The apartment was well-equipped, clean, modern, and cozy. We were specifically looking for a place that was thoughtfully designed and fully equipped with everything needed for cooking at home and for a long-term stay – and it exceeded our expectations.

Absolutely amazing place, super comfortable. Best I've stayed in Valencia during my 2 weeks holidays (I've been to 3 places). The apartments are beautiful, comfy, very clean and there are baskets and blankets for the beach for the guests to use. The owner is very helpful, very kind and outgoing, she made sure my stay was perfect, took care about every detail. I will definitely go back, as together with the amazing beach, it's a wonderful holiday destination. Thank you!

Such a clean and comfortable place to stay in Valencia. It’s very close to the beach and easy access to the city. The apartment is very well equipped and there is a great cleaning service. The host was very helpful and welcoming. There was a safe place to leave our bags during the day before our flight that was in the evening. I would highly recommend this place for your stay in Valencia.
