Slow Rise Bakery

First time trying slow rise bakery today and I got the salt beef bagel. The salt beef was amazing. This has definitely become my regular place.

Delicious bagels! There was a queue to get in (Sunday, 12pm) so you know it has to be decent. I might not like to eat in at that time as there was a constant stream of customers coming in which made it quite busy but I’m sure it’s lovely to sit when it’s more peaceful. We got the salt beef and the smoked salmon bagels. Some of the best we’ve had. Would recommend!

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about how good a bagel could really be, but after some recommendations I made a visit. I have to say it was the best salmon + cream cheese bagel I've ever had! The garlic bagel complimented it so well. Also great they have oat milk and lots of sweet treats to buy too!

Super yummy. Next time will have to try the delicious looking sweet treats!

Extremely authentic bagels. Once tasted going back to shop bought prepacked bagels just doesn't cut it. The bagels are freshly made and a few times I have bought some to take home they have still been warm.The right combination of chewy and soft. My favourites are the plain as well as cinnamon and raisin. Only slight criticism is that the cinnamon and raisin ones didn't have a lot of raisins in them. I bought 4 and they were all the same. Last time I went I ordered the chicken caeser without the bagels croutons with extra Swiss cheese and salt beef..asked for the bagel to be buttered. It was made really well and to my specifications. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Really happy with the service and pleased to have discovered Slow Rise Bakery.

yippee bagels! i had a chai latte and it was genuinely the best chai i have ever tasted- cinnamon sugar on top with lovely cream and it was insane. smoked salmon bagel and a hot drink came to about eight quid- both definitely worth it. staff seem super friendly and although we didn’t sit inside it was very cute

Quick and keen service. Good selection of baked treats which are seasonal as well as bagels. They have interesting food and non food goods for sale to browse whilst you wait. They've been consistently great since opening

The owner is very friendly and the bagels tasted amazing. The seasoned ‘everything’ bagels are delicious and packed full of flavour. Only last a star as the price is quite steep but it’s not absolutely ridiculous.
