Incredible stay. The hotel is very kid friendly and has many options for activities, food, lounging, and exploring. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian, Filia. Jonas was honestly was the best waiter and staff member we came across during our 5 night stay. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly. He made us feel welcome and went above and beyond for us during our dinner. We appreciate all of the competent staff members at the resort to help make our stay memorable. Thank you!!

Riccardo and Cesar at Caracol restaurant were excellent. Provided great recommendations and accommodated a special seating request. The dancing lizard scared my 2 year old but we had a good laugh! Great food, I forget which appetizers we had (all solid) and for the mains we stuck to the tacos and had the short rib. Really fun night! Alexander the teppanyaki chef at Lotus was fantastic. Genuine happy guy, cooked great food and put on a fun show for us and another family. our 2 best nights. Lastly, Eduardo at The Market breakfast buffet was exceptional. Super professional, quick, never made a mistake. Top service.

This is my 2nd visit and not the last! It’s truly a luxurious experience for tired parents. Our toddler had as much fun as we did with the thoughtfully curated activity options and stunning environment. Definitely among the tastiest food of any all-inclusive we’ve stayed in. Absolutely loved waking up to a panoramic view of the ocean and the separation of space provided by the 2nd level roof deck of the SLS Elite King room. We are particularly grateful for the kind, courteous and incredibly thoughtful service provided by our butlers, Angel and Nora. Small touches like having our fridge stocked with fresh milk for our son and a customized itinerary really helped us feel taken care of. Any minor issues in our room were resolved promptly. Also, a shout out to Levi for one of the best massages! Getting years of knots out was worth the spa treatment splurge. Overall, this is a great pick for all ages and needs. It’s equal parts serenity and fun. If staying with kids though, would just recommend requesting Tower 1, which is closer to the kids pool/beach, to avoid loud music/FOMO from the adults-only facing section of Tower 2.

We had a wonderful experience at the Union Steakhouse. The atmosphere was fantastic and our waiters were incredible. Carlos and Arturo went above and beyond expectations. They graciously served us with a huge smile and the attention to detail was exceptional. All the dishes were hot and very well presented. It was wonderful to see how they made our grandchildren feel special. Superb Service and professionalism!!!

We visited Union restaurant at SLS Playa Mujeres and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Carlos provided truly exceptional service from the moment we arrived. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our entire meal. His recommendations were perfect — both the food and the drinks he suggested were amazing. Thanks to Carlos, we were able to try dishes and cocktails that we might not have chosen on our own, and everything turned out to be delicious. He clearly knows the menu very well and has a great sense of what guests will enjoy. Carlos made our dinner feel special and comfortable, and his warm hospitality really elevated the whole experience. It’s service like this that makes a restaurant memorable. Thank you so much, Carlos, for taking such great care of us. We truly appreciated it and hope to return again soon!

We stayed in the SLS Elite Ocean View Rooftop, which includes Butler Service, and Roman and Alexis were outstanding. The view was absolutely amazing, and the rooftop jacuzzi was a perfect touch. The food was delicious, and the nightly entertainment was unique and engaging. The pools and kids water park weren’t heated, so they were a bit cold at first, but you do get used to it. The outdoor and spa jacuzzis were warm (though not quite hot enough), but the in-room jacuzzi was excellent. Overall, everything else was amazing. We truly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to going back.

We had a great stay at SLS Playa Mujeres. The big draw for us was the combination of the family-oriented activities combined with the ability for adult time and space. We were also attracted to the elevated food experience. It definitely delivered. Highlights were: 1. We did the elite package because we wanted to be able to make dinner reservations ahead of our stay. Our butlers Fabiola and Issac were incredibly helpful and made everything smooth and enjoyable on our stay. High points for them! 2. Cleo was our favorite restaurant, followed by Twiggy. Food was excellent every time and great wait staff. 3. The Kids Camp was fantastic. They had a weekly calendar of activities and a good variety. Our son asked to go every day! The staff were great there too. Things that I would suggest for management to consider: 1. The drinks menu is very cocktail oriented. As a mostly wine drinker, I would have liked to see more selection that did not require an additional purchase. 2. Better privacy screen between the sleeping area and the bathroom area. 3. We tended to have early reservations as we were traveling with a young child. A few times our food came out cold and we suspected that it had been pre-prepared. We know in a facility serving a lot of people there has to be some degree of that, but a steak at a steakhouse should be served at the correct temperature. We look forward to retuning here!
