Fantastic hike sept 28 2024, fall colors were beautiful. The creek from the bottom hike we crossed 4 times and I was surprised that the water was still high...up to my hips almost. I am 5'6. Seen a piles of scat on the trail. And I believe we seen and ate huckleberries. A fantastic hike!

Beautiful hike and amazing views, definitely worth going back. Do not cliff jump. So many rescues came out because young kids were taken by the current, it's not worth it

Great easy hike along the River! Lots to see and explore if you like to climb. Water crossings can be a bit scary if the level is high and the current is fast so be careful. Views from the neighboring cliffs are amazing and I can see the potential for bear traffic at certain times of year. Sunscreen, water shoes and long pants are recommended for a great afternoon!

Great local hiking less than an hour from Great Falls. Crossings of Belt Creek are challenging during spring snow melt, but there is a good unbroken ~2.5 mile one-way stretch heading south from the upper trailhead. Make sure to get there early on weekends, as trailhead parking tends to fill up by midday.

Beautiful and breathtaking views. Some trails are for intermediate hikers. Be prepared. If you have leg or knee problems do not do this hike. Otherwise challenge yourself and do it.

Highly Recommend going if you are near in town. Best place to go hiking and swimming (if the water isn't freezing). Amazing place to go spend some time hiking/fishing/ swimming and chilling.
