"Along with stylish boutiques and design shops, the narrow lanes of the upscale Khan Market are lined with all manner of eateries, from cafés and cocktail bars to food stalls and fusions restaurants. As of late 2018, the roster also includes Sly Granny, which arrived on a wave of buzz generated from its original Bengaluru location. Through this often-packed bi-level outpost is smaller than the sprawling first location, the concept here is the same: a space “inherited” from a mythical globetrotting grandmother and inspired by her favorite recipes and eclectic style. Here, that translates to a décor of plush velvet sofas, old cookbooks, and crystal bric-a-brac, statement tableware, and bold, quirky artwork in the snug dining room, plus a cozy upstairs bar that converts to a cocktail lounge come dark. Drinks there range from the creative (crafted with ingredients like elderflower, yogurt, or honey-ginger syrup) to the classic (twists on G&Ts and Pimm’s cups), not unlike the style of the food menu below, which starts with pastas, steaks, and burgers, then veers towards tacos, schnitzel, chicken liver pâté, and Kerala -style fish moilee. You won’t need a granny’s encouragement to eat up dishes like bacon-gruyere mac-and-cheese balls, house-cured salmon, chocolate lava cake, and a twist on grilled cheese with ricotta, onion jam, tomato chutney, and two kinds of chilies."

One of the many eating hubs at Khan Market in one of the pebbled eatery lanes . Continental and Italian spread with different sounding names. Original flavour, portion sizings are a little frugal but...... a little stiff on the pocket. Definitely for someone who is a foodie and wants to explore . It has a terrace top seating which is very interesting and groovy. Try it once .

We ordered two kinds of fish… mine was exceptionally horrible. The fish and chips was so bland romuolade was only mayonnaise… no spice.. no herbs no flavor. The fish batter was soggy and unpleasant.. of course the fish was frozen. This is by far the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. The espresso martini did not taste good and was not the spirits they claim to add it in it.. and it was just vodka based. This restaurant believes it’s over the law to charge you a 10% service? What service
When you have to wait almost half an hour for food? What service when you have to keep getting off your chair to ask them to come to your table? The place is not worth the exuberant prices and would not recommend it to anyone. The broccoli was raw but portions were odd. Please also maintain the washroom hygiene, I had to clean the toilet before use.
STOP FORCING PEOPLE TO PAY SERVICE CHARGE! You are not above the damn law!!
They even mentioned in the bill that they tell us before hand about the service charge in small… which was not informed. While leaving we saw a sign “we charge service tax” this is extremely illegal and laughable. Get rid of it before police are sent to deal with it. Prices do not match the quality of this place. It’s disgraceful. However, they did not charge me for the fish and chips but such bad quality?

Sly Granny is a lovely little spot for some good food and some really good cocktails. Like all restaurants at Khan Market this one too is located on the first floor and there is no lift. The interiors are lovely and the staff is courteous and polite. For appetizers we had the crispy chicken and fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly but was low on flavour. In the drinks we tried the Colbert's Folly and the Posh G&T, both were so amazing. For the mains we had the spaghetti meatballs which was delicious. Definitely recommend this place if you are in Khan Market.

The food was very tasty. We went there for breakfast. They serve breakfast till 11.30 am. We ordered pancake, it was mouth watering. We also ordered shakes and smoothies, it was average. After that we ordered a millet bowl, it was nice, I never had anything like that before.
The staff is polite. It's a bit expensive.

The food was honestly not good and totally not worth the price. Maybe I don’t have a “rich” taste palate, but this place definitely isn’t for Italian food lovers or anyone who enjoys proper North Indian flavors either. Feels like something people from the 70s might enjoy?
We ordered their so-called bestsellers:
• Sun-Dried Tomato and Spinach Ravioli (0/5): Couldn’t go beyond a spoon.
• Granny’s Mac and Cheese (1/5): Meh. Just okay-ish.
• Cheesy Garlic Bread: I swear I could make a better one at home without trying too hard.
• Frappe Coffee: Super sweet and just tasted off. ₹618 for two—seriously, just buy a bottle of Sleepy Owl and mix it with milk at home. Would taste 10x better.
Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re feeling super experimental with your food choices.

If you're in the mood for meat dishes, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out. The steak my friend had when we visited was thick and looked tantalizing. The spaghetti I ordered was generously loaded with meat as well. The only downside was the limited beer selection.

The service is amazing , the drinks are a thing of beauty but the food was highly disappointing. Ravioli came in a cool bed of sauce and was undercooked. The pizza base was a disappointing thin crust. Very basic. I love there cocktails and would always highly recommend them!

We spent around 3 hours there and that says a lot about the service and ambience of the place. It’s a cute little place, very rustic but choicefully decorated. Comfortable seats and the food is out of the world. Their wild mushroom risotto was so yummy.
The service was friendly and well informed.
It’s an uptown place and expensive but worth every bit. Definitely coming again.
