Google
SM North EDSA has been my go-to mall for years, and honestly, it never fails to impress me with how massive and diverse it is. It’s more than just a shopping center—it feels like a small city in itself. From the moment I walk in, there’s always something new to explore. I personally like the variety of zones it offers. The Annex feels modern and tech-savvy—perfect when I need gadgets or want to check out new electronics. The Block has a trendier vibe, with lots of cafes and lifestyle stores. Then there’s the Main Mall, which has everything from department stores, Cinemas to fast food. You could easily spend a whole day there and still not see it all. What I enjoy most is the Sky Garden. It’s a refreshing break from the busy indoors—greenery, benches, and even occasional performances or exhibits. It’s peaceful, and I like hanging out there after a long walk. Dining options? Endless. From quick bites to proper sit-down meals, it’s hard to go wrong. Whether I’m craving ramen, local street food, or international dishes, I know I’ll find something. Paid Parking can get crowded during weekends, but the multiple buildings and access points help a lot. The only downside for me is that because it’s so big, it can get overwhelming or tiring to navigate due to huge influx of visitors during weekends. But on regular days, I love the variety and convenience it offers. Overall, SM North EDSA is a place where I shop, eat, chill, and sometimes even get errands done in one go.

SM North is not just a great place to shop, dine, and hang out. it's also heartwarming to see how stray-cat friendly the mall is. They allow rescued and friendly cats to roam safely in certain areas, giving the place a homier and kinder atmosphere. Aside from the wide selection of stores and food spots, it’s comforting to know that the management shows compassion for animals. Shopping here feels good not only because of the variety of choices but also because you’re in a space that values both people and pets.

Great place to shop and dine in Quezon City. Complete mall with almost everything you need. Groceries, Hardware, Drug stores, Restaurants, travel Agencies, Kids Amusement Areas..you name it. They've Got it All for You.

A very expansive mall located in a convenient location near rail lines as well as the newly built concourse for the EDSA busway. Some areas like the annex are older, but the newer areas are well maintained and bright. From the annex all the way to The Bloc, there are a great variety of stores, establishments, restaurants, and anything else you can imagine that are available—besides, the atrium hosts events and exhibitions of significance from time to time. Once the common station and MRT-7 station are finished, they will only make going to and from not only this mall but also different transportation networks seamless, serving as an important mall and transportation hub to stop by and eat or shop in the future. In addition, its proximity to other malls like Trinoma and Vertis are also a bonus.

I had a terrific experience at the bowling center at SM North EDSA Annex! The atmosphere was lively, the facilities were well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. My family and I had so much fun playing and bonding over the game. It was truly enjoyable, and we can't wait to come back for another round of excitement. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun activity!

SM City Mall North EDSA is a vibrant shopping destination in Quezon City, open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM. Known for its extensive range of shops, it features popular brands like Uniqlo, H&M, and Zara, making it a favorite among fashion enthusiasts. The mall also offers a variety of dining options and entertainment, including a cinema. While it can get busy on weekends, its spacious layout provides a comfortable shopping experience.

Just wanted to commend your housekeeping staff assigned to the restrooms especially the PWD/Senior bathroom. They are quick to respond and are readily available upon request. They were attentive and kind to me and my daughter who was on the Autism Spectrum when we requested to use the said space. God bless you all for your kindness!

Yelp
I love going back to SM Malls when Im in the Philippines but it gives so much hassle especially when you have a baby/toddlers. Not trying to compare but even a little mall strips in the US has a separate changing station for the babies (or they have a changing table at least on the woman's restroom). I was glad to know at first that SM Malls have provided a Nursing Station where you can also change your baby's diaper. But to my dismay, SM North Edsa in QC refused to let us change my one year old daughter's diaper in their Nursing Station because she has poop on her diaper. The attendant say its solely for nursing purposes but I can change her diaper if she only has pee. We tried to begged but no to avail. She led us to the Prestige Customer Service Lounge but they wont let us in because we are not a Prestige Member. We tried to explain that we were not allowed to use the regular chaging/nursing station because its new and has a lot of restrictions. My husband also tried to offer to pay just to change my baby's diaper. They only allow us when my husband raised his voice, but I still saw the girl receptionist giving us an annoyed face when she asked for his ID. Im very disappointed with SM Malls because we even spent 30,000 pesos on their airbnb property near SM North Edsa (The Grass Residences). Hopefully they will try to improve their policies when it comes to changing/nursing station because most of their consumers are family with babies and toddlers.

Yelp
Ate at Kenny Rogers. This is like Robinsons but more mainstream. Bigger and more variety. Has a whole section for sports and wear. Great to go on a hot day, like everyday. It's more packed than other malls so be prepared for that, especially on the floor that has all the food. They have games and claw machines you can play at. Great for the kids and adults!

Yelp
The Philippines sure loves its malls. SM City North EDSA is presently the 5th largest mall in the world. It has a strange layout and it's very easy to get lost in here. And unfortunately, there are not that many maps/directories. It's divided into 3 sections, the Block, Annex, and City Centre. There are many dining options and movie theaters, along with arcades. But I don't like this mall very much because of the layout. It's too easy to get lost and it can be hard to find what you are looking for.

Yelp
I moved to Roosevelt a few weeks back, and my new apartment is a short jeep ride away from SM North EDSA and Trinoma. I discovered, then, that Quezon City is, apparently, the land of ridiculously overcrowded malls. The horror! It's to be expected, I guess, since this is the end of the line for most commuters, and going into the nearest mall is the best way to hide from the sun. Still though, when you adjust to the sheer number of people, you get to see that SM North has a lot to offer. Touted as one of (if not THE) biggest malls in the country, it occupies a whole city block and is made up of several separate buildings. Seriously, this place is so big, I haven't fully explored it even though I've been here so many times. It might have to do with the fact that I can't seem to find out how to go from the main mall to the other buildings - but I'll find a way! Dora, I need your map!

Yelp
Known to be one of biggest malls in the Philippines, SM North Edsa lives up to its size by packing it with a lot of cool things. From IMAX theaters, tech shops, clothing stores, outdoor restaurants to a building solely for interior design stores, it really goes to show that SM's got it all for you this time. Well, except for an ice-skating rink like its siblings SM Mall of Asia and SM Megamall. Nonetheless, SM North Edsa still packs a punch. Divided into three malls (Main Building also known as City Center, The Block, and Annex), each mall targets specific consumers - Main for the affordable goods, The Block for the higher end goods, and Annex for the tech goods. When seen as a whole, you get a big mall that can fulfill your needs may your budget be big or small. SM North Edsa also features an elevated outdoor parkesque space that has a ton of greenery, a couple of restaurants, and a concert space known as the Skydome. In a nutshell, SM North Edsa really lives up to its size. However, the number of people inside the mall can be suffocating at times, making it hard for the customer to enjoy the smooth sailing experience SM North hopes to provide. To be able to fully enjoy the SM North Edsa experience, make sure to go when there are only a few people inside. Note: there are always a lot of people inside.

Yelp
Welcome to my neighborhood mall! North people represent! Still by far one of the largest malls in the world in terms of commercial area, SM City North Edsa, composed of four buildings, practically has everything you need (mind you, I didn't say want, I said need). The Annex building houses the Cyberzone which is the go-to place for gadgets and electronics, and then some retails shopping, and the Ace hardware for your DIY project needs. The ground level of The Carpark building is where you can find The Interior Zone, with all sorts of furniture and interior decorating needs (that's where you leave your wife, but not your credit card). The Block houses the semi-high-end stores and dining, with popular brands like Forever21, Uniqlo and H&M, and it is also where Fitness First is. Lastly, the Main building is where most of the retail outlets are and where you can find the very large SM Store (department store) that practically serves as my one-stop-emergency-necessities store. And before I forget, one other word. IMAX. Again, it has everything you need and then some. It may not have the glitz and glamour of Greenbelt, but here, you're not required to dress appropriately at all, which is just great. (But i'm not talking boxers and tank guys. Put on some pants).

Yelp
When Kenn T. said "North people represent!" on his review, I raised my hand in my imagination and made imaginary gang signs. And then an imaginary voice shouted "You don't live in the North anymore!" So I creeped my imaginary hand down. And imaginarily made a sad face. It's been years since I've moved from my mom's Caloocan house, but I still consider SM North my turf. For years she'd pick me up from Kisay, make me help her do errands or grocery shopping, and treat me to a Pao Tsin dinner. SM North EDSA has grown exponentially from that shoe-box type building we frequented. PROS: It caters to the whole spectrum of economic classes, from your high-end Nine West pumps to just a hundred-peso CDR-king flash drive, from Vikings to Jollibee, and everything in between; It's sooo huge now that I wish I had a Segway when crossing from the Annex to the Block. That gargantuan space houses every establishment for every need in every price range; They are on a very convenient and accessible location as well. CONS: The thing about malls and their department and grocery stores is that, in my opinion, they somehow hurt the small and medium enterprises of the area that can't afford a lease on their premises. And it promotes so much toxic consumerism. SM North EDSA is an expert on this: making sure PUVs stop and drop consumers in their premises, "Great Northern Sales," and greenwashing. TL;DR: Easy commercial access for the northern fellow's daily needs.

Yelp
SM North EDSA is, as I recall correctly, one of the major pins of the Northern Manila Scene. Personally, I remember SM North as a Spartan version of SM circa early 2000's, entirely devoted to utility. Needless to say, I wasn't too hot on taking a date there. Since then, however, SM North has become a sprawling complex, devoted to providing just about any and every thing to anyone in the area. A walkway to the nearby malls serves to increase its size, effectively turning the whole area into a hub for anyone traveling along EDSA. This place says "this is as far north as you'll get without going to another area." With its interesting mix of curves and greenery and blocky architecture, one is never going to say that they cannot find what they are looking for in one of the many, many shops present (I should know, bongs are openly being sold in one shop). One thing to take note of: SM prides this mall as being more or less sustainable.

Yelp
I don't understand this mall. I just don't. I don't understand its layout - so much so that every single time I'm here, I've gotten lost without fail and had to ask around just to get to where I need to go. But I like a challenge, and I promise you that I will come back and break down the walls keeping me from conquering this mall - and conquer it I will. It's saving grace, at the moment, is Tim Ho Wan. In my last outing to North EDSA, I got so hopelessly lost and I was so tired from walking, I opted to sit down and eat at Tim Ho Wan. And oh my god, that was amazing.

Yelp
This mall seriously confused me the first few times I went here. It's hard to find the bridges between buildings, even for someone with a pretty decent sense of direction, so on my first time I kept going in circles within the main building. To this day I still haven't figured out how to get into the annex. SOMEDAY. It's a decent mix of high end and more budget friendly restaurants and stores, so it's just right for both barkada plans and weekend lunches or dinners with your family. On my part, I go to SM North most often for the shows in the Skydome, which is located amongst the second floor gardens and establishments. Thank god most of the eating places in the Skygarden stay open late, because otherwise I'd have to get Jollibee drive-thru or something equally bleh to refuel after concerts. And since entering college, I admittedly have spent extended breaks here. Let me off the hook, alright? Sometimes I get sick of the food choices on campus, so if I've got time and errands to run anyway (gifts to buy for upcoming birthdays, for example) I have lunch here then go shopping. It's super convenient for QC college students.

Yelp
Don't look for a place to sit down. My wife and I were to meet a friend at one of the mall's main entrances and arrived 10 minutes beforehand. While there we received a call telling us they would be delayed 30 minutes and could we wait. We are both over 60 and grew tired standing but did not want to leave the agreed meeting area so we sat on the floor against a pillar. After about 15 minutes one of the mall's guard dogs came and told us to move and said there were seats on the floor above, that helped a lot. We went upstairs, saw that if we sat on the chairs we could no longer view the entrance, so we leaned against the railing and waited. We will continue to shop at SM but their currency has been devalued in our eyes.

Yelp
Ever since I was a kid, SM City North was the mall that my family frequented the most, simply because of its proximity. I saw it grow from a standalone main building, into the beauty that it is today. The Kotse Network area used to be Super Sale Club (I wonder if anyone remembers that), which was a non-membership necessary supermarket that had everything, and would have rivaled S&R today. The Annex used to be a small 2-story building, and now it's a much larger 5-story building complete with a hardware and computer section so large, that they each have their own floors. SM has a new-old building called The Block, which houses a lot of the more contemporary fashion stores and restaurants. The old building is still standing, but it remains well-maintained with upgraded lighting and a new look. They even added a skywalk area, which is an al fresco park/mall hybrid, which is a great place to hang out and enjoy the (not-so) fresh air hanging over EDSA. SM North EDSA has everything that one will ever look for, and to quote an old SM tagline, they've got it all for you.

Yelp
The SM North EDSA is one mall that I don't think I will ever get to memorize. Like, I'm serious when I say that in no circumstances will I be able to remember where is what and how to get to where. The way I view SM North EDSA is that it's like three different malls, that's just conveniently connected. What's not convenient though is how difficult it is to navigate through the mall. Even from outside, it's already difficult enough to find the right parking garage. If you want a mall wherein you can get a free workout, I suggest going to North EDSA. It's hugeeee. But at least being huge means that it has almost all of the buzzed-about franchise restaurants. You can get your fix of Tim Ho Wan or 8cuts or Yabu or Vikings in this mall mansion. If you're like me and have no sense of direction, best to rely on the guards around you.

Yelp
On the surface this mall appears classy but is not well designed and has the most annoying music designed to promote itself. Trinoma mall is far superior and prices are noticeable better across the board. For some reason, SM mall makes it very inconvenient for customers going by escalator or stairs up or down. Other malls make it easy by just turning a quick corner, while SM Mall has made it necessary to put their stairs and escalators in such awkward positions that it is very inconvenient for its customers. Then the music is extremely annoying and instead of playing many christmas songs at this time of year, SM Mall frequently play an annoying song by a loud-mouthed singer who sings a lot about shopping and I think even mentions snow which is comical considering that it never snows in the Philippines. As for the wifi at the SM Mall, it is simply terrible! Other malls and public places are quite easy to use and get good connection. I just can't get any connection at any of the areas of the mall (main building, annex or block). At Trinoma it is not a problem at all, though they give only 1 hr Finally, one gets the impression that the SM mall customers have an air of superiority vs customers at other malls, like they are classy in a luxury mall. That's laughable. I give the mall 2 stars because of it's poor customer service.
