You get what you pay for! Fantastic location in the mix of a bunch of fun bars and coffee shops. Walking distance to Acropolis, which can also be seen from the terrace. The guy at reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. The lost souls that were staying there would stare at you as if they were going to hurt you in your sleep (definitely not your typical backpackers seemed more like long-term residents living in tent camps). The kitchen was a joke. 3 coffee cups for about 85 people. The hot plate doesn't heat, and the kettle has no lid. The toilets have no seats. The shower water was hot, but the stall was so small that when you touched the walls, you felt dirtier than when you got in. Beds came with free bugs, and there was an ogre sleeping in our room.

This is hostel so bare that in mind when booking. You get what you pay for, this is £10 per night per person. The location is EXCELLENT and couldn’t be any better. The staff are amazing and really easy to contact. Beds are comfy, a balcony upstairs and there is a fridge and cooking facilities upstairs (though I think some people live here full time so there wasn’t much space). Everything is clean just a bit run down. My only niggle would be the showers are very small however the waters warm and the pressures good. I would recommend when travelling! Also the other guest are all nice and keep themselves to themselves.

I got badly bitten by bed bugs in this hostel. Hundreds of bites that formed large welts as they enlarged - and even blisters. They were on my toes, feet, legs, hands, arms, back and face. They lasted for over 2 weeks and were very itchy. A guy in the room had also been bitten many times. ||||The location was very central, but the kitchen was tiny and the living room and balcony were very dirty. The showers were so small that there was almost no room on each side of my shoulders. I stayed in early-mid June 2023 and the room was very very hot. ||||But those things were all fine. The worst thing was the bed bugs - I had a strong reaction (anti-histamines didn’t help) and the bites became huge and I had to go to the doctor and take two types of pills.

This place has all the ingredients to be fun and great. Clean beds, great location, and friendly staff. The problem is the clientele. This place is packed with strange and rude older men- almost nobody was in their 20's. They separate the rooms into single genders too, which makes the vibe even stranger, esp. if you're a woman. People are up all night in the rooms talking on their phones, they have no regard for sleeping guests, and the hygiene was pretty terrible. I'm talking using the bathroom with the door open and pretty bad body odor. The kitchen was littered in dirty dishes and spilled food. If this place cleaned up their act and kept it to 35 years and younger, it'd be pretty fun. Instead, it was just pretty disconcerting. That said it's cheap and centrally located and decently comfortable. So 2 stars.

The ladies at reception has been super friendly, helpful, supportive, and just been awesome. The hostel is one of the better ones I've stayed at compared to many others. Mattresses were thick instead of thin with no support. Because of its location, it is very noisy with music blasting and people talking until the wee hours. Towels are lent for free. Showers are tiny but do you really need to do a song and dance as you shower? (Maybe not ideal for bigger people). Bathrooms and rooms are cleaned twice daily which is nice, since they're so many people in a room. (But no one can really clean body odor, can they.)

This hostel is a great balance between price, location, and features. One night on a weekend cost me 15€, with breakfast, towel, and sheets included. The location is amazing, in a great central and lively neighborhood. It is easy to get anywhere within a walk or metro ride. The rooms are big and the bathrooms are nice, although the showers are really small (1m by 1m or so). The free breakfast was simple (white bread with meat, cheese, and various spreads, coffee, tea, and juice) but good. There's also a nice communal room and kitchen on the top floor. Finally, the reception staff were very nice and they also let me store my bags there before check-in and after check out. All in all I would definitely recommend this hostel!

I was pretty happy at the hostel. The staff on site were friendly and accommodating. Though there are some internal politics with the abscent owner, which because a problem for us over new year. The rooms are cleaned every day and sheets changed whenever you want them to be. You get a basic but sufficient breakfast. And if you get to know the staff well you may get the odd meal out of generosity. I really liked it there and stayed for a while. It's also fantastically positioned for major landmarks in the city.

My friend and I were supposed to stay at this hostel. We arrived around 3.30 am and couldn’t find the hostel easily. When you have had a long trip, all you want is to find your place to stay as fast as possible. We checked in and the receptionist was friendly. We stayed at the 2nd floor. We didn’t want to wake anyone up, but that’s kinda difficult when the beds keep making noises. We got covers to put over the mattress (what they call covers: it is just a thin blanket.)We got covers for the pillows, decent material. We also got a thin blanket to sleep under. This just wasn’t enough cause it was freezing during the night. Each room has a bathroom, or at least a place you could pee and shower... The showers are small, with no lock and since that wasn’t enough, both toilets weren’t decent at all. One couldn’t flush and the other toilet was broken. I literally fell in the toilet. To add on, there were hairs in my friend’s bed so we decided to leave the hostel cause we couldn’t stay any longer. We checked out after check out time and got a refund. The girl was friendly but if the personnel is the only thing that is a positive aspect, I would think about closing my hostel.
