Small Luxury Hotel Das Tyrol was a very pleasant and well-located place to stay in Vienna. The hotel is in a great part of the city, making it convenient to explore while still feeling calm and private. The dining area was beautifully designed, with fun decor that added character without feeling overdone. Breakfast was well-prepared, with fresh bread, cheeses, meats, jams, and yogurt served on tiered trays, making for an enjoyable start to the day! The rooms were clean and thoughtfully designed, with modern touches throughout. A nice perk was the Dyson hairdryer in the bathroom—a small but appreciated detail :) Overall, Das Tyrol offered a very comfortable stay with great attention to detail, and I’d be happy to return on another visit to Vienna.

What a wonderful hotel. The service of all the staff was excellent, they were all really helpful and attentive. The rooms were luxurious, spacious and spotlessly clean and had everything you could ask for. |The hotel bar was lovely and a super place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. |The little biscuits on offer all around the hotel were a lovely touch.|A great location and easy walking distance to all the Viennese attractions. |A wonderful hotel with superb staff and we would definitely stay again when we return.

Everything was perfect. The service, the staff, the room, the spa, the breakfast, and obviously the location. The look and feel of this hotel is contemporary business-like with flair. The decor is stylish with vivid colours and lots of fun art (a la Basel, Miami..). The staff is bilingual, friendly and very professional. The private Spa is absolutely awesome. The beds are comfortable and despite being located on a busy shopping street you get a good, quiet night sleep. I will definitely return to this wonderfully discreet jewel in Vienna.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Boutiquehotel Das Hotel. The location was excellent and enabled us to get to the city highlights and shopping very easily. |The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the shower was one of the best we had had. The room was very nicely decorated and quiet but was a little small for two people with multiple weeks of luggage. The elevator was very small and slow, sufficient only for one person and their luggage, and so we ended up walking to our room every time. It seemed like the hotel's ideal client was a single person in town for business. |There was a lot of attention to detail around the property, including the fabulous artwork throughout. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

A beautiful small hotel close to all the main things to see and do in Vienna. The hotel is superbly themed with lots of original art, and decorated beautifully for Christmas. The staff were all charming and helpful. We had breakfast on all 3 mornings and it was exceptional. It’s a la carte. Fresh orange juice, the best Bircher Muesli we’ve ever had and lovely light omelettes all served on Christmas crockery - a lovely touch. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm, had bamboo bathrobes which were very soft, and a very good shower. We asked for and were provided with a kettle. There’s no evening meal but drinks and delicious small Christmas biscuits are served and there’s loads of places to eat in Vienna - not least at the Christmas markets. Al in all one of nicest city centre hotels we’ve ever stayed at.

Das Tyrol is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. The rooms are stunning, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought out perfectly. The staff? Just amazing, so friendly and always ready to help. But the real highlight? The private spa. If you’re staying here, do yourself a favour and book it, it’s such a relaxing experience, especially for couples. The breakfast is hands down one of the best we’ve had. Plus, the location is perfect for exploring Vienna. Can’t recommend it enough!

Das Tyrol is a hidden gem in Vienna! The boutique charm is unmatched, with individually designed rooms that are both luxurious and artistic. The service is truly amazing, attentive and personable. The private spa is a must try; it’s an incredible treat for couples looking for relaxation. Breakfast here is one of the best in the city, and the hotel’s location near the Museumsquartier makes it perfect for exploring Vienna. Do yourself a favour and experience this little slice of paradise.

I knew from my initial dealings with staff that we would be well taken care of at Das Tyrol. We loved this hotel! The hotel is beautifully and brightly decorated, spotless, quiet and very convenient to the places we wanted to visit. It is in an ideal location -- an easy walk to several museums, park, Opera House, St. Stephen's and other sites. Being on Mariahilfe Strasse meant we had a choice of shops and cafes, and a variety of restaurants were an easy walk away. The rooms are well-appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was a la carte, with specials -- all very good and reasonably priced. Every staff member we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful. We definitely will stay at das Tyrol again!

This hotel was simply incredible. Every detail in the room and lobby was immaculate, and the staff was wonderful. We saw the owner every morning in the hotel, checking in and making sure that everything was running smoothly for the guests (even though she manages four different hotels). The room was beautiful with heated floors in the bathroom, beautiful lighting, and unique artwork. We cannot wait to come back here.

Like what the description saids, small luxury hotel...The room was small, there are bigger ones but at the time of the booking this was the only room left. Nevertheless the room is cute, luxurious, modern. I thought they have there own garage parking, but it was off-site parking but it is walking distance from the hotel and fee is cheaper than other parking garage near.

My travel companion and I were so pleased with our stay at Hotel Das Tyrol. Here are just a few of things we loved: - The gorgeous, unique room. Our room (and especially bathroom) were very reasonably-sized, clean, and quiet. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we appreciated all the little touches such as chocolates on our pillows and the cozy bathrobe and slippers! - The amazing sauna. Honestly, when I saw pictures of it on TripAdvisor, this was one of the primary reasons I booked the hotel, and it did not disappoint. The sauna was absolutely stunning, and the aquarium was the coolest. I also appreciated that it was available for private use. When my friend and I reserved it, we didn't know how booked up it would be, but there were quite a few times available. - The staff. Throughout our time there, we experienced nothing but excellent, professional service, from a map and helpful recommendations at check-in to Mozartkuglen at check-out! I used the laundry service arranged through the hotel and they couldn't have made it any simpler: I dropped off my clothes in the morning and they were already waiting for me in my room upon my return after dinner. - The location, which was perfect. It extremely walkable (within 5-20 minutes) of many art museums, cathedrals, the Hofburg, Kärntner Straße, etc. As a matter of fact, with the exception of our trip out to the Schönbrunn Palace, we didn't end up needing to utilize public transit at all in Vienna. I would gladly stay here again, and if you're looking for a hotel in Vienna, I'd certainly recommend Hotel Das Tyrol!

solid five stars, especially for the location, value, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. rooms were cozy, but clean with high ceilings, coffee and sweets on our pillows every afternoon. reasonably priced. there's a small private spa in the basement you can book for privacy, steam, sauna and showers we didn't eat in the restaurant but peeked in at breakfast and it looked good in a great location on the Mariahilferstrasse which is one of the nice shopping streets and pedestrian malls. just far enough from the city center to have better rates than the better known hotels, but just a short 10 - 15 walk to all the key city attractions (Vienna Opera House, Imperial Palace, Museum Quarter, Naschtmarket, etc.) the staff really made this place a great experience. super friendly, helpful with directions and public transit, calling cabs. plus they made two excellent dinner recommendations for us (reviewed separately)

The Hotel "Das Tyrol" is a hidden gem with a great location in the heart of the Mariahilferstrasse, Vienna's largest shopping street, and at a walking distance from the museum quarter. I booked 5 rooms last March as my company was attending the European Conference of Radiology and I was pleasantly surprised from the very first moment. This hotel has a superior customer service: Betina Fruhstuck, Christopher Diensthuber and the other 2 employees whose names unfortunately I did not write down have been attentive to all our needs, giving us great advise, booking restaurants and taxis and making us feel very welcome guests at all times. The rooms are small but very clean and nicely decorated. The Nespresso coffeemaker in the rooms is a nice touch and the bathrooms are all new and functional. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the personnel is very attentive. I will definitely use this hotel again for my future stays in Vienna and recommend this place to anyone wishing to visit this great city.

This hotel was superb. The staff was extremely helpful with restaurants, concerts, and flights. The rooms had were beautifully appointed and had everything a traveller needs. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very attentive. Location was great; close to museums, the Imperial palace and the main historical sites. Loved the birthday bottle of wine! Would recommend to anyone and would absolutely stay here again.

Great Location in the MQ, convenient access to the underground stop and a lot of the tourist destinations. Parking can be a bit pricey but its to be expected in any major city in Europe. The breakfast provided was great and the lady who helped us during our stay was great. Pay a little more for this hotel if you must, its money well spent.

Nice rooms and great service. Located in a Modern shopping district and is near a subway station. Highly recommended.

Stayed there in early September 2014. Great staff, wonderful room, comfortable, great breakfast, the hotel is very nicely done with modern art. Its a little walk from the center of town, but the neighborhood around it is filled with good - great restaurants and shops. Close enough to the metro to let you go anywhere.
